Married With My First Love (Travel Story of Lantern Love And Scintillating)
15.One Year

The new year passed quickly.

Time continued to run unstoppably, until it had been a year Tera and her mother worked and lived here.

Everything feels normal to Tera.

School while helping her mother work has become her daily routine over the past year.

The Gilang family was getting better to the two of them because all this time they always worked well, rarely asking for holidays or going out for no reason.

The same with his attitude.

Almost every day met with Tera who worked at home to make him accustomed to the presence of the girl in front of his eyes.

But still did not accept the fact that his mother considers Tera as his sister.

His mother was always kind to Tera like her mother and daughter.

Although still love Gilang who is his biological child as usual, obeying all his wishes and giving all his needs.

They look like a family in general, although in fact Gilang's parents worry a lot about the lives of his children, as well as about Gilang who is not at all interested in helping his parents' work.

A few years ago, the husband and wife had a fight with their two children who also did not have any interest in the company they were starting to date.

For now they choose not to talk about it considering Gilang who looks often careless, also they are embarrassed if Tera and her mother see their commotion.

...*...

Today is June 30, a year ago Tera set foot into this place when the weather is hot.

But today is a little different, in the capital that looks more and more crowded, while being drenched in rain since two o'clock this afternoon.

All students enter the afternoon later this month to receive their second semester grade report book.

Tera, who was at school, enjoyed every speck of rain that fell from outside the window.

It was the first rain and the closing of June, and the last rain that would lead Tera and her friends to eleventh grade.

Because usually in a month like this, it will not rain until October.

The speck of rain that seemed to not want to stop made all the students restrained there.

It's almost four in the afternoon, the rain has subsided and left little specks out there.

All the students left the class and ran towards the school fence, approaching the drivers who picked them up.

Even with Tera and Sela who walked slowly while raising their heads and letting the drizzle hit their faces.

Despite the cold weather, they still walk casually in the middle of the wet field and enjoy the remnants of the rain that has almost subsided.

Finally the rain stopped as they arrived in front of the school fence.

Sela had been picked up by her father, and left Tera on foot to wait for the school bus, but the bus she used to ride had left the stop since.

Tera stood there confused, staring at the street that left the smell of rain.

He raised his head again, looking at the sky that was still not bright.

I don't know since when he started to like to look at the sky even though it was hot.

All he knew, while looking at the sky, was that he could see the figure of his smiling Father up there.

It was a spoonful that afternoon.

He walked slowly away from the bus stop, down the sidewalk as he had when he first stepped into the school.

It's impossible to walk home in this cold weather.

Not far away, some boys from other schools walked in groups there, without noticing Tera who walked in front of them, one of them hit Tera and made a warm drink he held spilled on his own.

He grimaced the heat, and realized Tera was standing in front of him.

"Woyy, kalo clay-liat dong, my friend lue hit by the heat like this."One of them yelled at Tera.

Tera, who felt innocent, tried to stay silent for fear that fighting would even make a scene there.

"Well, girl, it's wrong to be quiet."

"You don't have eyes, you don't have ears, I do." Others began to touch Tera, pushing Tera who had been seen limp due to the cold weather this afternoon.

"But I'm not wrong, right, that hit it wasn't me, but you."

He pointed at the blond boy who had hit him.

"Woy, which is really aja lue, you don't use the eye, you're wrong me, you don't see my drink until it spills like this because of lue, apologize or I make a wound lue here."

"But I'm not wrong, I actually did not hit you, who did not look at you, who told you to walk while chatting, so do not realize in front of anyone, it's wrong even turn on people."

Tera was no longer silent because the children were getting upset, she chose to leave them.

But just now he was about to step, suddenly one of them held Tera's shoulder and pushed it firmly, to make Tera fall on the sidewalk that was still wet.

Tera, who was not as strong as them, grimaced in pain because his hands were scratched by a rock on the sidewalk, himself who was hungry and cold because of his wet uniform while playing drizzle earlier, they feel they can no longer fight them if they do worse.

"You're sorry I don't right now,"

"Quick apologize or we do more of the same loe".so called the other child.

The store owner there immediately came out because he heard there was a commotion in front of his store and immediately squatted down to help Tera.

"You guys, the school is still doing this, if you're still hurting this kid, I'll call the cops."

"We wait for him to apologize sir, because my friend has been spilled hot water because he hit my friend."they still defend themselves even though they have been threatened.

The old shop owner did not care about them, and helped Tera stand up and took her to sit in front of her shop.

The father's wife immediately took the wound plaster and treated Tera's injured hand.

His school skirt that was wet and now getting dirty because of the fall made him feel afraid to go home.

"Neng, here's your dirty skirt, you want to change first, but I only have a boy, so there's only shirt and pants."the shop owner's wife offers Tera to change clothes.

"No, ma'am, I don't wear this."

"Snang emangnya no one to pick up, why even go home alone like this?"

"I used to take the bus, but I missed the bus because it was still raining."

"Now confused about what to ride, because my HP missed at home, sorry I mom, already bother mom."

"No matter what neng, I'm happy if I can nolongin people, here is often through school children like them." The mother pointed to the group of boys still standing there, waiting for Tera to apologize.

"Where, Chloe want to apologize or am I waiting here until tomorrow?"they back to corner Tera.

"But I'm not wrong ma'am, so those who hit me, why should I apologize" Tera told the mother.

"Yes neng, you know, you're here first, they'll leave if you're bored here."

Tera felt very tired today, his HP left home because he woke up late this morning, now he has to sit here because he was left behind by the bus, he did not memorize anyone's number, because of his old number that he remembered,it was dumped a while ago.

He really felt his life was just always making others hassles.

He bought a bottle of drink to the mother and drank it to the end, he forgot his hunger because he felt himself useless again, even at a time like this he could do nothing against those brats.

He sat there restlessly, the boys almost came back to him, if not to see Gilang who parked his bike right in front of the shop where Tera was sitting.

Tera recognized Gilang just by looking at his motorbike even though his face was covered in a helmet and was seen taking off his uniform.

The owner of the stall that had entered, sat back beside Tera to see the presence of Gilang, because he was afraid that the child was also one of the friends of the children who disturbed Tera.

Seeing Gilang approaching Tera, the father confronted him.

..."What do you want, you want to disturb him too, quickly call your friends home, because from now on it has stood there and disturbed this child."...

Tera had not even had a chance to say anything, but Gilang immediately approached the children who were still gathered not far from them.

Gilang just hit one of them and said if they do not go and still bother others, he will call his friends.

The boys immediately scattered and ran around in reverse direction, afraid to think Gilang was one of the motorcycle gang members they feared.

..."Sorry sir, but he's my brother."sahut Tera....

..."Ohh yes, sorry you don't know,"...

..."Leh you this how the hell, when your sister just came home alone like this, if they arrived at anything the same they were how?"...

..."Sorry sir, I was slow to pick up because I had to send my schoolmate, usually he took the bus, because he did not like to ride the motorbike, so I think he has gone home, I'm sorry sir if my sister is troubling you."...

Always talk a lot when dealing with other people.

If with Tera, he only speaks as necessary,

But just now Tera was made to feel a little happy because Gilang called herself 'Sister'.

..."Yes leeh, next time do not be biarian again yes his sister went home alone, if there is anything for sure your parents also bother."...

..."Yes sir, thank you very much sir."sahut Gilang...

..."I'm sorry sir, I've been bothering you today, I also thank you my father for notolongin me, I don't know what else to do if you didn't nolongin me." Said Tera....

..."Yes neng,sama-sama, you guys be careful about going home."...

Gilang and Lantern nodded together and then went home.

Gilang gave his helmet to Tera.

But Tera was silent.

..."Wanna go home?"...

Tera nodded.

..."Yes, I've been wearing this!"...

Tera.

..."Keep on loe what?"...

..."Loe wants to make me bother stopping by the police station because you don't wear a helmet."...

Tera still shook her head while continuing to look down.

"What guests can't talk like that?"

...Gilang had to keep talking because Tera did not answer....

..."I'm afraid to go home like this, and then if you ask me why, what should I say?" Finally Tera answered with a stifled voice....

..."I don't want my mom to think the same I keep on thinking that until I know there's something like this happening, that I know, I'm always okay at school." Tera's tears fell as well despite trying to be held back....

Gilang did not know what to do, he saw Tera's clothes were dirty and wet, looking at Tera's palm that had been wrapped in plaster as it was.

The situation looks sad, if you go home with such circumstances, obviously their parents will ask.

..."Go up first." Sahut again...

Luckily, he always carries more than one helmet because he often takes his friend home from school.

..."But helm?"...

..."Why?"...

..."Later, Gilang will thank me again, which I have never used before?"...

..."It's up to me to come, it's up fast...!"...

Tera put on her helmet quickly and prepared to get on the bike.

But Gilang turned off the bike.

..."I mean, even the motor is turned off."...

Just shut up and look for something in his bag.

He took his school blazer and gave it to Tera.

Tera looked at the blazer that was bigger than hers, then opened her dirty blazer and replaced it with Gilang's.

They were shaking hands to get home soon.

They got to the playground of the children around the streets.

Gilang parked his motorbike on the side of the road and told tera to go down.

..."Get downstairs."...

..."How come Gilang told me to come down, we haven't arrived yet?"...

..."There's a bathroom, hurry up there and keep cleaning up that dirty loe uniform, if it's done, hurry back, if I don't stay."...

..."Uh yeah yeah, wait a minute."...

Tera immediately ran towards the bathroom around the playground that looked quiet, because the rain fell until the afternoon made anyone reluctant to leave the house.

She cleaned her dirty skirt with the origin, and removed the plaster from her palm, although it was painful she still forced it open, so as not to be seen by her mother and made worried.

He also washed his face that looked tired and pale.

After finishing, he returned to the place Gilang parked his motorcycle earlier behind a short fence that surrounds the playground.

He only found a big motorbike parked and Gilang school bag on it.

..."Uh Mas Gilang where, lest he run away again."...

...Tera went back and forth around the place....

Not long after, Gilang came and brought two glasses of warm chocolate in his hand.

Unknowingly Tera smiled towards Gilang.

..."See what you grunt so."...

..."Eeh see nothing really, mass Gilang from where?"...

Gilang did not answer and just thrust the warm glass at Tera, and stepped towards the garden fence, Silang stood there staring into it while holding his drinking glass.

Tera who felt warm after drinking half her chocolate glass turned to look at Gilang.

..."Mas Gilang said, come back, it's getting late in the afternoon, then my mother will, then no one will help mother at home."...

..."I've called mom, kalo lo same me, keep telling me that I'm going home late."...

..."Well that's the Gilang mas, but I haven't told my mother, 'cause my phone's left at home."...

..."I've told my mother to say same bude if you are the same me, can now be silent?"...

..."Eeh yes, I'm silent!"...

They stood there staring at the playground that was getting dry because the rain had stopped an hour ago.

Tera raised her hand and folded it over the fence, and stayed there, sitting there,

Gilang who deliberately stayed there so that Tera's clothes could dry a little when he got home, stood next to Tera, staring silently at Tera's sad face that today looks exhausted.

He knew the girl next to him had a beautiful face though it was difficult to understand, Silang realized strange feelings began to fill his heart while being with Tera, but because he hated his sister, he chose not to care about her feelings.

Tera who felt her legs tingling because of standing there for a long time finally protested to Gilang who was still staring at her.

..."Mas Gilang, my feet are tingling, already pegel tau bediri here, my drink is also over, ayo go home"...

Glare who realized because Tera shouted in front of him, finally moved from there.

The watch in Gilang's arms showed at half six in the afternoon.

They go home holding each other's feelings.
