Marriage to the Destroyer of my Dreams

Marriage to the Destroyer of my Dreams
Episode 26 Reduces Lifetime Mistakes

The atmosphere turned awkward, after Jeffran's cry subsided. Jeffran cursed himself for not being able to control his feelings of sadness. Indeed Jeffran did not want to show his weak side too much before Jillian, because he thought it was very embarrassing. Although Jillian did not think of it that way, Jillian deeply understood the grief of an older brother who lost his younger brother.

"Jeff, let's eat first. The food and drink are cold." Jillian tried to melt the atmosphere.

"Hmm, I'll get a change of clothes in the car first." Jeffran tried to avoid, because he still felt ashamed of Jillian.

"Let's eat first." Jeffran finally complied and sat down opposite Jillian.

There was no small talk let alone laughter, the two of them were enjoying food and drink without speaking a word. Even until Jeffran took a change of clothes and finished bathing, the awkward atmosphere was still felt.

Jeffran laid himself on the sofa of the room, because of fatigue and drowsiness that could not be compromised. While Jillian who met Papa and Mama since 1 hour ago, still has not returned to the room.

Drrt..Drrt..Drrt..

A message that went into Jeffran's phone, again pulled Jeffran from his sleep which even lasted a few minutes. Jeffran sat himself down, then took his cell phone which he had stored on the table. The annoyance that Jeffran initially felt, turned into curiosity when reading incoming messages from Liam.

Liam

Jeff, you'd be surprised to see this. I'm sending you the buyer data on the limited edition dress that the girl you're looking for..

A photo that Liam sent next, like lightning that struck his body. JORDAN ABRAHAM SMITH'S.. The name of the buyer of the limited edition dress turned out to be his own younger brother.

Suddenly a piece of his conversation with Jordan that night, as if adding a puzzle piece in Jeffran's brain.

"Jordan, where are you? Please Brother.." Jeffran tried to regulate his breath that was panting.

"What's up, brother? I was at the cake shop. Going to college soon." Answer Jordan.

'I remember that Jordan was about to go to college at the time, and I met the girl outside the campus yard.'

The flash of events on that fateful night flashed back in Jeffran's mind. But Jeffran's cry broke, as he suddenly recalled the face of the girl he had been told*that night.

Jeffran recalled the details and look on his face as he shouted and thrashed for release. Jeffran also vividly remembered the beautiful face that was soaked with tears that did not stop flowing as Jeffran took away the girl's honor without compassion.

"I'm sorry Jillian. I have committed a great sin against you. Until you finally carry my son." Lirih Jeffran, on the sidelines sobs her tears.

Chequek..

Jeffran approached Jillian, then knelt in front of Jillian while holding Jillian's hands with both hands.

"Jeff, what the hell are you doing? What was? Don't do this, sit next to me." Jillian was not feeling well.

Jeffran shook his head strongly, his face lowered and then rested on his hand that tightly grasped Jillian's two hands.

"Jill, I've remembered the girl's face that night. I'm sorry I made a big mistake with you. Give me a chance to make amends, Jill.. I promise I'll take responsibility for you and the child you bear, Jill." Hearing Jeffran's words ending with a loud puff, Jillian just shook her head. It was unexpected, that Jeffran finally knew the real facts.

Jillian took off Jeffran's hand violently, and was about to stand up from her seat. But Jeffran again clasped Jillian's hand and held her back, until Jillian sat down again with a feeling of force.

"Hit me Jill.. Slap me.. Do whatever you want. Put all your anger and hatred on me. I won't fight, because I deserve it.." Jeffran again lowered his head, hiding the tears that were flowing increasingly profusely.

"What by hitting you, my honor will return? Is it by slapping you that Jordan can come back? What is it about venting out all my anger and hatred, the pride of my parents and also my dreams to come back?" Jillian's voice sounded cold, drawing the Neutra Jeffran to look regretfully at Jillian.

"I know I can't bring back everything that Jill lost. But I'm gonna fix everything, my whole life Jill.." Tekad Jeffran.

"But I can't give you a chance, I hate you so much Jeff. Your face always reminds me of what I want to forget." Jillian turned her face the other way, hiding her teary eyes.

"You can hate me, Jill.. But I will make amends by doing everything you ask, fulfilling all your wishes and making you and our child happy throughout my life.." Instead of being moved to hear Jeffran's sincere determination, Jillian actually showed her cynical smile, by again throwing Jeffran's hand.

"It's not that easy, Jeff.." Jillian stood up to walk away. But Jeffran, who stood up, suddenly hugged Jillian's body so tightly.

"Hate me as much as you. But I want you to know that I love you so much.."

Silently, as if digesting what he had just heard. But a few seconds later a small laugh came out of Jillian's mouth with a look of disbelief. Jillian pushes Jeffran hard, until Jeffran's tight hug comes off.

"You don't expect me to believe this shit? I still vividly remember every word you said to me Jeff. You don't like me very much and have always hoped that our marriage would end quickly. You are only going through this marriage to snatch the child in my womb. And now you say you love me, when you remember what happened that night? Do you really feel guilty, saying that you love me? No need to tell Jeff's lies, because I decided to forgive you." Jillian stared into Jeffran's eyes looking at him wistfully.

"I wasn't lying, Jill, I was in love with you long before I knew you were the girl of the night." Jeffran held Jillian's two arms with both hands.

"I really love you, Jill.. I also loved the child you bear, long before I knew it was my son." Jillian looks for lies in Jeffran's eyes, but she does not find a single lie there. But for some reason, Jillian continued to deny her feelings.

'Jeffran couldn't have loved me, he just felt guilty for me and the child I was carrying..'
