Active Time Bomb

The night is getting darker. Dini and Dimas just got to the boarding place. As usual, Dimas came down with Dini to greet Andi who seemed to be sitting on the terrace with Nico.

"Waaahhh, what a beautiful Din, where did you come from?" praise Nico and ask.

"Abis ate malem with the Dimas family," replied Dini and sat next to Andi.

"What is it, seriously?" dini asked Andi who had not even turned her head at all since she came.

"Din's job, his deadline is tomorrow" Andi replied without taking her eyes off the laptop.

"Where are your wounds?" asked Dimas to Andi, making Andi quickly alert if Dimas arrived hit him again.

"Lo don't take it easy, Dim, I'm serious!"

"Hahaha, I've come back for that!" reply Dimas.

"You want to go home?" ask Dimas Early.

"Dear, you don't sleep too bad yeah, I go home first" said Dimas, hugging Dini and kissing her forehead.

"Heart yes" replied Early.

Dimas nodded then left Dini, Andi and Nico.

"Gue entered first, drowsy," said Nico then went into his room, leaving Dini and Andi both on the terrace.

"Where's the Ndi?" ask Dini.

"Udah sleep like, a lot of campus activities he said earlier," replied Andi.

"What is your injury? any better?"

Andi nodded.

"Yes, thanks to your girlfriend's punch!"

"I see you two are familiar."

"Why?"

"No idea, just a moment," replied Dini and sat with Andi's back.

"Ndi, I'm confused," Dini said with a look at the expanse of stars scattered in the darkness of the sky.

"Why Din?" andi asked with her finger still busy dancing on top of her laptop keyboard.

"The same mother Dimas wants me to be married to Dimas," replied Dini who made Andi immediately stop typing.

"Good dong" replied Andi, trying to smile. He pressed his heart that was hurting.

Instantly, his mind was in chaos. He could not continue doing his job anymore. There was a speck of fear in his heart, fearing that he would truly lose Early. But he tried to realize his heart that the happiness of Dini is the main for him.

"I'm not ready yet, there are many things that make me not ready!"

"You think it's good Din, I'm sure Dimas is best for you" Andi said.

"Yes, but does destiny agree with you?"

"We never know what our destiny will be like, we can only live what we think is good in front of us now" replied Andi.

"I went in the room first Ndi, sleepy!" say Early and then stand up from his seat.

Andi just nodded in response.

After Dini left, Andi tried to refocus on his task but was unable to. Early remarks made him lose focus on learning.

"married? that means you belong entirely, am I ready to lose you? can I get through all my days without you? aaarggghhh no, I can't believe it, don't be selfish Ndi, don't!"

Elsewhere Anita is in a restaurant with Ivan. Ivan gives Anita a fancy bag.

"Why did you arrive with a bag?" ask Anita.

"Take this as my apology" replied Ivan.

"I don't understand you, now you are very good with me, tomorrow morning you can suddenly change that way, I'm wrong what the hell is the same with you?"

"There's nothing wrong with you Anita, I'm sorry," Ivan replied by pulling Anita's hand into his grasp, but Anita refused.

Ivan saw someone he knew entering the restaurant. Someone seemed to be rolling his gaze in all directions.

"Follow me!" take Ivan with you by pulling Anita's hand.

"Where?"

"Udah come, hunt!"

Not wanting to cause a commotion, Anita complains when Ivan pulls her hand. Ivan invites Anita to get out of the restaurant and stop the taxi that just passed them.

"Why are we taking a taxi? how's your car?" asked Anita who did not understand Ivan's attitude.

"Slightly, can I take it later," replied Ivan with many times looking back.

"You why the hell? you're avoiding someone?" anita asked who saw Ivan looking panicked.

Ivan did not answer, he immediately deactivated his phone, took his sim card and damaged it and threw it away.

"Ivan, what the hell are you doing?"

"No papa, I just...."

"You're being chased by people?"

"I'll take you to the apartment next time we have dinner again, okay?"

"Ivan answered my question, why are you? what's up?"

"Nothing is dear" replied Ivan who still lied to Anita.

Arriving at Anita's apartment, Ivan makes sure Anita enters first.

"Anita horrified me well yes and do not ask a lot, if someone is picking the bell, you must first if you know the same person, if you do not know you do not need to open, understand?"

"Why me....."

"Nit, don't ask a lot, just do what I ask, don't open the door for people you don't know okay?"

Anita nodded, let Ivan go and locked the door.

After Ivan leaves, Anita turns on the television and watches her favorite show. When he was about to drink, he realized that his refrigerator was empty.

Anybody comes out of the apartment to buy a drink and some snacks in the mini market. After finishing buying drinks and snacks, Anita immediately returned to her apartment. He chose a different path than when he left. He deliberately did that to find a new atmosphere for him.

Right in the corner of darkness, he saw a car he knew. He immediately approached the car.

"Ivan, what's wrong with you?" asked Anita who saw Ivan's face full of bruises and bleeding forehead.

"I'm from a mini market, what's wrong with you? abis fighting?"

"Regular, man," replied Ivan who was still hiding something from Anita.

"Come to the apartment, I'll heal your wounds!"

Ivan said, using his car, he drove Anita to the apartment. Arriving at the apartment, Anita immediately cleansed and treated Ivan's wounds painstakingly.

"You're being honest with me, you have a problem with people?" ask Anita who is still curious.

"No, just a misunderstanding" replied Ivan.

"You're weird from earlier, you....."

"ANITA'S STOPPING!" ivan said in a high tone.

"What's? you gonna slap me again? here's slap!" reply Anita by patting her own cheek.

"Not at home here I always get slaps from men, you're just as good!" anita then stood in her room and left Ivan.

Ivan was silent for a while to digest well Anita's words. He remembered his meeting with the Goddess Physician a few days ago. The words of Doctor Dewi hinted as if papa Anita who had been violent to Anita and Anita's speech just seemed to strengthen the signal.

Ivan then went into Anita's room and approached Anita who was combing her hair in front of the mirror. Ivan then took the comb that Anita was holding and combed Anita's hair.

"Did your dad like that a lot?" ivan asked Anita.

Anita was silent, her eyes staring at her reflection in the mirror with a blank look. His heart ached remembering how the father had behaved to him.

He misses his mother, he misses the warmth of family affection, he misses the mother and father who loved him so much as before.

I don't feel her tears dripping. Ivan who saw that slowly turned Anita's chair to face him.

"I'm sorry" said Ivan, wiping away Anita's tears. Either getting a boost from nowhere, he pulls Anita into his arms.

Anita sobbed in Ivan's arms, her heart ached. That longing tormented him, severely tormenting him. There is nothing more painful than missing someone we will never see again in our lifetime.

Ivan releases Anita from his arms and crouches in front of Anita.

"How should I let you not be sad anymore?" ivan asked, wiping away Anita's tears.

Anita just shook her head without a sound.

"Do you want Dimas here?"

"Can you?"

"You told me that she easily shed your tears, didn't you?"

Anita nodded quickly. He then immediately searched his phone to contact Dimas.

It only took one call Dimas directly received Anita's call.

"Where are you?" anita asked in a hoarse voice from crying.

"On the road, what's wrong?"

"I miss my mom, I want to see my mom" Anita answered sobbing.

"I'm going to your apartment right now, wait for me!" reply Dimas then turn off his cell phone connection.

Knowing that Dimas is coming soon, Ivan prepares to get out of Anita's apartment.

"I'll go home first, if there's anything to do with me!" ivan said before he opened the door.

Anita quickly pulled Ivan's hand and kissed him on the cheek.

"Thank you" said Anita, making Ivan seem to freeze instantly.

Ivan had been close to many women before. Not only being his work partner, Ivan has often been related like a husband and wife to many women who are close to him. But somehow, he felt something different from Anita.

From the first moment he knew Anita, he wanted to be close to her. Although his intentions are not a hundred percent good, but he is very careful not to do things too far on Anita. There is another side of her that wants to protect Anita.

"Where to go!" anita said by pushing Ivan's body, making Ivan immediately aware of his daydream.

Ivan comes out of Anita's apartment, but she is still in the parking lot. He picked up his laptop and started running the action.

Dimas arrives and enters Anita's apartment. Seeing Dimas coming, Anita immediately rushed into Dimas' arms. He was crying in Dimas' arms. There was no other way for Dimas than to return Anita's embrace and wipe her back to calm Anita down.

Dimas then took Anita to sit on the sofa. He gave Anita a bottle of chocolate.

"You want to stay here until when is Anita? you don't want to go home?"

Anita shakes.

"There's no reason for me to go back there Dimas, I still can't go back to mama, I still can't see mama," Anita replied sobbing.

"When you're calm in Nit's paradise, I'm sure your mama will be sad if you see you like this, you must be happy, you must continue your life well, for your mama's sake," dimas said by pulling Anita into his arms.

Dimas knew what he did at that time could hurt Dini, but he did not have the heart to let Anita grieve because he missed his mother.

During this time Dimas never felt a lack of affection from his parents. They always loved Dimas and gave all the best to Dimas, making Dimas grow up to be a very loving and caring figure to others.

Very inversely proportional to the life of Anita who has lost her mother forever. Papa who became the only parent figure for him even treated him harshly. The stubbornness of the two makes fights happen often and ends up with a slap that Anita always gets.

On the other hand, Ivan already got what he wanted. He then sent a video and photo on a number that he memorized well, because he had to send it using a different number than before.

Now he just has to wait for the time bomb that starts counting down and is ready to explode, destroying all the hearts and love that are glorified by those who love each other.

Ivan smiled with satisfaction and closed his laptop and left the parking area.

Elsewhere, Dini who was about to close her eyes woke up again because she heard a message coming from her phone. Because it was very sleepy, Dini did not notice who the sender of the message was, he immediately opened it just like that and was so surprised to see a video that he played on his phone.

It is very clear in the video that Dimas did not show his dislike towards Anita. Dimas actually looks very concerned about Anita and of course it makes Dini inflamed.
