On the Same Night

The moon still seemed to smile up there. Despite being among the dark expanse that unfolded, its rays were still able to pierce through the darkness. It illuminates the broken heart beneath it. Millions of flickering stars up there as if saying that everything will be fine.

That night, after Dimas exits Anita's apartment, he realizes that his phone is left behind. He immediately returned to Anita's apartment to pick up his cell phone.

Without Dimas knowing, Anita and Ivan were so surprised by the arrival of Dimas who arrived. Panicked Ivan pushes Anita to the floor. Ivan held both of Anita's cheeks with one hand.

"You don't play with me Anita, I can easily ruin you now!" ivan told Anita.

"I didn't know he was coming back, I....."

Ivan moved his hand and strangled Anita's neck, which was still on the floor.

"Never make me angry Anita," said Ivan who had peaked his emotions. He felt he had been played by Anita, he thought that Anita had trapped him. Because if Dimas finds out he's in Anita's apartment, his plan will be ruined.

Anita held Ivan's hand which gripped her neck, she was already almost out of breath if Ivan did not immediately let go of her hand.

"You cannot... nyakitin me.. now Ivan.... Dimas could be suspicious.. later on. " said Anita was stammered by Ivan's hand that gripped her neck firmly.

Ivan takes his hand off Anita's neck and goes into the bathroom to hide. Meanwhile, Anita immediately changed clothes and tidied herself up. Then he opened the door.

"Dimas, what are you doing?" anita asked, hiding her nervousness.

"My HP missed," Dimas replied, then walked in and searched his phone.

When he picked up his phone on the table, he saw a phone overturned on the sofa. The phone with a softcase with the letter V was a little interesting because he knew if it did not belong to Anita.

"Doctor Dewi has come?" ask Dimas to Anita.

"Be.. not yet..maybe a moment again," replied Anita who was getting nervous.

"Why you?" asked Dimas who realized Anita's nervousness.

"Well, no, I'm not papa, I...."

Dimas then hugged Anita before he left, because it was one of Anita's requests to him. He will not ask any further, he does not want Anita to consider her care as a love that Anita had always wanted.

"I'll go first!" dimas said and left Anita's apartment.

Anita simply nodded and let Dimas go.

"She's gone" Anita told Ivan, who was still in the bathroom.

Ivanpun came out of the bathroom and hugged Anita. He realized what he had done to Anita was too much, he was just afraid that his grand plan had failed.

"I'm sorry, yes" said Ivan who still hugged Anita.

Anita simply nodded in Ivan's arms. Now it won't be easy for him to get away from Ivan.

"If you don't want to do it now, tomorrow is not papa," Ivan told Anita.

Anita was silent. For him now or tomorrow is the same. He still had to do what Ivan wanted even though he did not want to.

Ivan pulls Anita's hand out of the apartment, feeling guilty for what he just did.

"Where are you going?" ask Anita.

"Where are you not sad anymore" replied Ivan.

"Can I refuse?"

"Do you think I like being rejected?" ivan asked back.

Anita went back to silence and followed Ivan. Ivan takes Anita to a boutique owned by his mother's friend.

"You choose what you want" said Ivan when they reached the boutique.

Anita nodded slowly. He's not excited. He felt his decision was wrong to let Ivan come into his life.

"Don't frown at dong Nit, what do you want me to do again?"

"Don't mean I can?"

"I wouldn't understand if you wanted to follow me without asking a lot of questions."

"I want to go home, I'm tired today, I beg you," Anita said.

"Okay, we're going home now!"

Anita and Ivan leave the boutique and return home soon.

Elsewhere, Dimas contacted Dini and inquired about Dini's whereabouts.

"Hello baby, where are you?"

"I'm at the deket stop of the malem market" replied Dini.

"At the stop? you're not alone, are you? Andi's the same as you, right?"

"And you're back with Aletta first."

"Reverse first? crazy kid, wait a minute baby, 5 minutes I'll be happy'!"

Dimas increased the speed of his car to immediately meet his girl who was alone on the side of the road.

Arriving there, Dimas immediately stopped his car near the stop. It does not care about road signs that prohibit vehicles from stopping. He immediately approached Dini.

Elsewhere, Andi and Aletta had to get out of the taxi they were riding in because the driver had just gotten word that his wife was about to give birth.

"Sorry, ma'am, I'll change the money, but I have to go to the hospital now" the driver told Andi and Aletta.

"No need sir, no papa," Andi replied and asked Aletta to get off the taxi.

Andi and Aletta return home on foot after Aletta forbids Andi from booking another taxi. Aletta wants to stay longer with her beloved polar man.

As long as they walked on the sidewalk they just kept quiet. They walked next to each other but were like two people who did not know each other.

Aletta watched Andi as she walked, her eyes fixed on the man next to her, making her stumble over the tree roots and fall down on the sidewalk.

Andi just kept quiet and turned her head without helping Aletta to get back on her feet. Aletta who saw it instead of getting angry even more anxious at Andi.

Andi deliberately let Aletta because she knew Aletta was not a spoiled girl who would moan and cry just from falling. He just wants Aletta to know if she is still upset about what Aletta said a while ago. Even so, he was actually worried. But Andi felt calm because he saw Aletta who looked good.

Andi stopped her steps as soon as she realized that Aletta was lagging behind her. He looked back and saw Aletta who was limping. He approached Aletta who looked in pain.

"Your legs are injured?" ask Andi.

Andi then slightly pushed Aletta's body to sit on the chair on the sidewalk. Andi looked at Aletta's wet-looking trousers on her calf. He then slowly folded it to see Aletta's wounds.

"Aaaww, slowly Ndi," said Aletta who felt pain in the calf touched by Andi.

"Wait here, don't go anywhere and don't move much!" andi said to Aletta.

Andi then ran towards the pharmacy that was across the street. Without Andi knowing, Aletta followed him by walking limped.

Aletta sat in front of the pharmacy, waiting for Andi. When Andi came out of the pharmacy, Aletta called out to her.

"Polar man" called Aletta half-screaming.

Andi turned to Aletta and approached her.

"I told you to wait there, your legs hurt!"

"It's just a little Ndi's wound, don't overdo it."

Andi then treated Aletta's leg and covered it with a bandage. Andi then crouched down to Aletta's back.

"Good!" said Andi.

"Well! going up? where to?"

Andi then patted his own back.

"I can't let you walk to the cost with your feet like that!"

"But I....."

"This time just don't argue," said Andi cut Aletta's speech.

"I'm heavy Ndi."

"I know!"

Aletta only smiled faintly and then climbed onto Andi's back.

"Where? still strong?" aletta asked after they walked for 5 minutes.

"You're ngremehin me?"

"No, I know you're strong" Aletta replied.

"Oh yeah, did you leave it here?" ask Aletta.

"She was picked up by Dimas" replied Andi who still sounded cold.

After more than 10 minutes Andi held Aletta, they finally arrived at the boarding house. Andi saw Dimas' car parked there, but he did not see Dini or Dimas there.

"It's so romantic for you!" said Dimas from the second floor, right in front of Dini's room.

Andi ignored that, he then carried Aletta to go up to the second floor and into Aletta's room. He lowered Aletta on the bed slowly. He crouched down and examined Aletta's wounds.

"Usahain does not get wet, often change the bandages too!" andi said while changing Aletta's bandage.

Aletta just nodded. When she finished, Andi raised her head to look at Aletta. Somehow he saw Aletta looking happy that night. Although she had already ignored Aletta, Aletta was not angry at all.

"Does this hurt make you happy?" ask Andi.

Aletta nodded with a fluffy smile on her face.

"Why?"

"Because I know you still care about me."

"Why did you say that? haven't I ever cared about you?"

Aletta shakes.

"Still Ndi" said Aletta.

"thank you? I've been cuekin him from earlier, I just let him fall and he said thanks?" andi asked a question.

Aletta nodded letting Dimas take Andi away from her room. Dimas then pulled Andi's collar and pushed him against the wall.

"What's the crab?" ask Andi who still does not understand his mistake.

"Wait a minute, what's going on? what am I wrong?"

"Follow me down!" said Dimas by pulling Andi's hand.

Andi began to realize the real situation. Dimas wouldn't be that angry if it wasn't about Dini.

"Lo sure you want my answer?" ask Andi.

Dimas did not answer.

"Guys, the party's ready!" dimas said half-screaming before Andi finished his speech.

"Fest?" andi asked not to understand. Andi looked back and looked as if his roommate was walking towards him with a rope.

Andi who has lived there for a long time knows what will happen next.
