Love Treasure And Friendship

Love Treasure And Friendship
False Memory (2)

Flashback in Singapore

Dimas laid his body on the long sofa of his apartment. He tried to remember what he had forgotten, but still nothing, not a single bit of his past he remembered.

He felt that something was missing from him, something that left a longing in his heart. The more he tried to dig into his memory, the more his head hurt.

Now he prefers to just live what is going on without him knowing the truth.

He took some books in front of him and read the pages until he fell asleep.

As the moon begins to take over the throne of the sun, mom and dad Dimas return home to their apartment.

"Dimas, wake up baby!" said mama Dimas with a little swaying body Dimas who fell asleep on the sofa.

Dimas opened his eyes, blinked for a moment then immediately woke up from his sleep.

"Home home ma, pa?"

"Well, why are you sleeping here?" ask mama Dimas.

"Slept ma," Dimas replied by rubbing his newly awakened eyes.

"Where are you going today?" ask Mr. Tama on Dimas.

"Take Anita to college, keep buying books, eat, go home!" answer Dimas.

Mr. Tama smiled faintly, because at least Dimas still remembered what he did this morning.

"Well, why take a shower, won't you come?" ask Mr. Tama flirtatious to his wife.

"Ikuutttt!" reply mama Dimas who immediately approached her husband in front of the room door.

Dimas just chuckled at the attitude of his mom and dad. He could feel the warmth of the family he had.

After finishing dinner, papa Dimas returned to work on his laptop. Dimas and his mother relax in front of the television.

"Ma, Dimas wants something!" dimas said to his mother.

"Ask what, baby?"

"Mama story about Dimas dong, Dimas would like to note here!" pinta Dimas while showing her note book.

Mama Dimas smiled bitterly at the way her child's life was so difficult. But he always hid his sadness, he did not want to make Dimas feel burdened.

Mama Dimas began to tell about Dimas, his independent and responsible, intelligent and school idol boy wherever he went to school. Aside from her beautiful face, her friendly demeanor has always been a magnet for anyone nearby.

Dimas listened carefully to his mother's story. He chuckled a little amusedly to hear his mother who always praised him as if he was the son of his pride that was so perfect in the eyes of everyone.

"When about Anita ma?" ask Dimas.

"Anita.. mmmm.. she used to be your best friend from you little, until finally you asked her to be your girlfriend when you were in high school, you are very dear to Anita, you are very dear to you, every day you tell me about her and mom, you're always romantic with her" Dimas told me.

"friends of small?" ask Dimas in the heart.

"Ma, Dimas is bored if not where, Dimas can not school ma?" ask Dimas.

"School?" mama Dimas asked confusedly. How could he possibly go to school with such a state of memory. Even if he had to home school it would be difficult for his teacher to teach him the same thing every day.

"Yes ma, can you?"

"Mmmm, baby, mama's talking to me first papa!"

"Yes ma, Dimas to the room first ma!"

"Yes baby!"

Shortly after Dimas walked into his room, Mr. Tama came out and sat down beside his wife.

"Ma, papa wants to exercise!" said Mr. Tama with a flirtatious smile.

"There's a treadmill!"

"Mama pura don't understand!" gerutu Pak Tama was upset.

"There's more to sports than pa, Dimas wants school!"

"Huh, school?"

Mama Dimas nodded.

"Yes nice dong ma!" continued Mr. Tama who turned out to have another perception with his wife.

"Yes, good, but how, Dimas right.." mama Dimas stopped his words, there was a little tightness in his heart every time he said Dimas state at that time.

"Mama look at this!" said Mr. Tama while showing some books on the sofa.

Zero to One, The Magic of Thinking Big, The 4 Hour Work Week, those 3 books were books that studied about businesses that Dimas had already read.

Mama Dimas stared at the book for a moment.

"What's Dimas........"

"Dimas is indeed amnesia ma, but his brain still works as it should, only his memory is problematic, some days papa see him read this book, this book, papa's sure he can go to school like any other kid!"

"Tomorrow mama will try to find out!"

"If so now the time for sports, papa has not been long......."

"Mom sleepy, want to sleep!"

"Ma, wake up, how dong!"

"Father sleep again, mama sleepy!" reply mama Dimas by yawning and getting into her blanket.

Mr. Tama only snorted angrily and then immediately went to sleep next to his wife, letting the rest of his body wake up alone.

***************

After finishing breakfast, Dimas and his papa mama sat down to relax on the balcony of their apartment.

"Father with mom you want to go to school, really Dim?" ask Mr. Tama on Dimas.

"Because, Dimas is coming back from High School again, no papa!"

"What book do you read that Dim?" ask Mama Dimas who pretended not to know.

"Oh that's a business book ma, Dimas bought Anita's waiting time on campus!"

"Have you read all that?"

"Udah ma, Dimas still remembered all the contents," replied Dimas smiling proudly to himself who could remember well the contents of the book he read.

Mama and papa Dimas were stunned for a moment to hear Dimas's reply.

"Dimas used to teach English, ma?"

"Yes, you like English the most and you like to read papa's books on business!"

"Oh, Dimas did not think it turned out Dimas was that smart, Dimas read the book was just one day and Dimas still remembered all the contents."

Mama and Dad look at each other and hug Dimas together.

"Sorry ma, pa, sorry that Dimas still can't sip anything about you guys, about Dimas' past, about........"

Dimas took his mother's hand off her cheek and kissed her mother's forehead, as he used to do.

"Thank you, ma" said Dimas, making his mother cry.

Eventually, mom and dad Dimas decided to call a private tutor who would teach Dimas every day. He is now getting busy with his learning activities. He was so quick to understand the material delivered by his private teacher and still can remember it well the next day. It's just that, to remember something else on yesterday he still couldn't.

A bright Sunday morning. Dimas blinked his eyes that were exposed to the glare of sunlight that morning. He saw the note on the table next to his bed. The same note he always saw every day but was always lost in his memory.

He picked up the phone next to the note, playing the same video he had always forgotten.

He saw his study table full of books and a note book that stole his attention. He opened it and began to read it page by page in his handwritten note book.

She smiled and immediately came out of her room.

"Morning ma," said Dimas to his mother who was busy preparing breakfast.

"By honey, there's Anita!"

"Anita? morning gini?"

"Yes, why? don't like?" sahut Anita who was sitting on the sofa turned her back to Dimas.

Dimas smiled sweetly then immediately approached his "lover. Dimas kissed Anita's forehead and sat down next to her. Anita was a little surprised to get a sweet treatment from Dimas, because as long as Dimas lost his memory, his attitude was always cold to Anita even though Anita had explained if she was Dimas' lover.

"Do you like to come in the morning?" asked Dimas with an intense look towards Anita, making Anita wrong behavior because of it.

"Ee.. no, I. I want to help you cook!" answered Anita who immediately stood up but was immediately prevented by Dimas.

Dimas pulled Anita's hand back to sit and hugged her tightly.

"You said I was romantic, right? kayak gini?" dimas asked while hugging Anita.

Anita could only be stunned to see Dimas' attitude towards her, even though this was what she really wanted, but seeing Dimas' attitude suddenly change made her heart beat irregularly.

He was silent in Dimas' arms, the shock he felt was no greater than the happiness he felt at the time.

"Nit, are you all right?" asked Dimas who realized Anita arrived silent, not as usual.

He just smiled and returned Dimas' embrace.

"I'm good Dim, I'm happy you are now the Dimas I knew, the warm Dimas, Dimas who always loved and cared for me!"

"I'm sorry, I'm still......"

"You're the best for me Dimas!"

Mama Dimas who saw it was smiling happily, in contrast to papa Dimas. Papa Dimas who just came out of the room immediately threw the pillow that was on the sofa towards Dimas.

"Bring first, just dating!" said papa Dimas who sat at the dinner table.

"Papa interrupt me!" dimas grumbled annoyed but immediately left Anita to take a bath.

After Dimas finished the bath, they all ate breakfast that morning with laughter.

"This abbys come with me looking for a book huh!" take Dimas to Anita.

Anita nodded quickly.

After he finished eating, Dimas immediately went into his room to pick up the hoodie he was going to wear. When he was about to put on the hoodie it arrived as a shadow of a woman darted in his mind. The faint shadow that depicted her while putting her hoodie on the woman.

Dimas held his head that began to hurt, he tried to dig deeper into his memory but in vain, he tried to dig deeper, there was only a stabbing pain in his head until he unknowingly dropped some picture frames on the table near where he stood.

Anita and Dimas' parents immediately entered Dimas' room upon hearing the sound of goods falling from Dimas's room.

"Dimas, what's wrong with you?" anita asked, who saw Dimas was already on the floor holding his head.

Mr. Tama who saw it immediately helped Dimas to stand up and lay him on the bed.

"You must have forgotten you haven't taken your medicine!" said mama Dimas while offering some vitamins on Dimas.

I immediately took the medicine.

"Dimas know this drug will not return the memory of Dimas ma!"

"Don't tell me that Dimas, consciously you're from a coma if we're grateful, we don't care even if you can't sip anything about us, so don't mind yourself making it all up, so don't worry about it, we're........"

"But I don't want to be a burden to all of you!"

"Nobody thinks you're a burden dear, mom, papa, Anita loves you as much as you are with or without your memory!"

"Please stay alone Dimas!" said Dimas slowly.

Anita, mom and dad Dimaspun came out of Dimas' room.

Dimas cursed himself in the room. Whether what kind of accident caused him to have amnesia is very rare, he does not know. He had tried to ask his mother and father, but it made his mother again devastated if she remembered the terrible incident. Mr. Tama asked him not to ask that question again, because the fear and pain they felt at the time of the incident was like repeated when Dimas asked him.

He tried to find it on the internet but still he did not find any clues. His past seemed to have just disappeared from his life. Now there was only mom, papa and Anita he could trust.

Dimas stood on the edge of his window, looking out at the sparkling city lights that colourfully dyed the black of the night.

He took his cell phone and called Anita.

"Where are you?" ask Dimas.

"In your apartment's deck garden!"

"I'm going there now!"

He got out of his apartment and immediately headed to a park not far from his apartment. With the help of google maps, he could easily find the park.

He saw Anita standing next to a small fountain in the middle of the park.

Dimas took off the jacket he was wearing and put it on Anita.

Anita smiled and hugged Dimas.

"I'm sorry!" dimas said softly while kissing Anita's forehead.

"Don't apologize, Dim, nothing's wrong!"

Dimas smiled and took Anita's hand to be invited to sit in a chair not far from the fountain.

Dimas rested his head on Anita's shoulder.

"Nit, can I ask you something?"

"What?"

"When I'm in a coma, why don't you wait for me?"

"Where might I leave someone I love fighting alone in a hospital bed for months!"

"Why do you love me?"

"You are good Dimas, you are always there for me, you always make me the first for you!"

Dimas smiled thinly. I don't know why his heart feels dead. His heart seemed to reject all the past Anita told him. Her heart still felt empty even though she was already with Anita. It was like something was missing, but he didn't know what or who it was.

This condition makes her haunted by guilt for Anita. Guilt because he could not remember even feel the intertwining "love" they had knitted together before the accident occurred.
