LOVE THE RECEPTIONIST

"Mona," the voice of a call from a man who was very familiar in his ears, Monaliza turned her head, getting Leon who was standing not far from the gate of a narrow alley near her home area.

"Leon? Why are you here so early in the morning?" asked Monaliza, surprised to see Leon's presence there, the man's face still looks pale.

"I want to see you" Leon said, stepping closer. "I beg Mona, marry me" said Leon with a hopeful face, as the two left little distance.

"I'm sorry Leon, that's impossible. In a few days I will be married to Mr. Dirga" said Monaliza staring at Leon.

"He doesn't love you, Mona, but I. And we both love each other," said Leon, he grabbed Monaliza's hand but was immediately pushed aside by the woman.

"Forget Leon! Marriage is not about you and me. But also about your family and my family. And my family who is not the same social status with your family will always be an insult to your mother," said Monaliza also asserted.

"I don't care about my family. I can live without them, but I can't live without you Mona" Leon said solemnly

Monaliza stared flat at Leon's face in front of her, she had never heard Leon speak that way while she knew him.

"You might be able to live without your family, Leon, but I can't. Marrying you would definitely make things difficult for my family. My family and I cannot live in pursuit of problems, we want to live in peace and normal life" Monaliza said in her voice, recalling some of the bad events she had experienced.

Leon was stunned, what Monaliza said was right, during his relationship, misfortune often befell the woman due to the actions of her mother and Nadya who did not like Monaliza to be in a relationship with him.

"At any rate, I've been pregnant . I'm pregnant with another boy. How could you possibly want to marry a woman who's been bedded by another man until Leon's pregnancy?" Monaliza deliberately said that so that her former lover was aware and willing to let it go, it seems like she who slowly gave up her relationship with Leon ran aground.

"I want Mona, I don't mind the other baby boy you've conceived, because I love you. I don't want any woman other than you" Leon said, reiterating his intentions.

"You must be crazy Leon" said Monaliza, who had run out of words, telling her ex-lover.

"I'm completely sane, Monaliza, and I want to marry you. And that child, you can give birth to him, and I'll give you my name behind the name of the child you're carrying" Leon insisted.

While they were arguing, a unit of car stopped right in front of Leon's car was parked. Dirga went out and went straight to the two.

"When I was leaving for the office, my feelings were suddenly bad. That's why I'm here to check on you." said Dirga looking at Monaliza while commenting on the thin smile she rarely shows other than her flat face.

"They have a strong inner bond, in fact my feelings are not wrong, there are other men who try to approach you again" said Dirga while glancing at Leon's reaction with a flat gaze.

Leon who glanced over showed his cynical smile. "Why are you here, Mr. Dirga?" tanyanya does not like.

"Heuh, didn't you hear what I said earlier? I'm here to check on Monaliza" Dirga said.

"Now you know that Monaliza is in good shape, so you can leave now" Leon said.

"You're ridiculous, Mr. Leon," said Dirga, forcing himself to laugh.

"Monaliza is my future wife. You have no right to tell me to leave it with you here," said Dirga still laughing sarcastically.

"You have robbed my lover in a fraudulent way" said Leon coldly, his feelings starting to ignite.

"Sorry, we have to leave now" Dirga said, not wanting to continue the fruitless debate.

"Let's go together to the office," asked Dirga and then pulled Monaliza's wrist to come with him. Monaliza just complied, and got into the car next to the wheel.

After closing the car door next to Monaliza, Dirga paused for a moment and looked at Leon who was watching him and Monaliza.

"I've promised your mother Mr. Leon, I'll keep Monaliza away from you at her request while you're dying in the hospital," after saying her words, He went to the door next to the wheel and entered it.

Leon stared at the departure of Monaliza who did not look at her. He held onto his chest that was painful, a pain that was felt in there, that was not reached by his hand.

With a shaky step, Leon gets into his car, the face looks lethargic, there is no spirit in him, after Monaliza breaks off with him. He then drove his car away from the place.
