48. Penthouses

Monaliza and Leon were silent, both busy with their own thoughts. Leon turns his car into his apartment. Monaliza glanced at Leon, after the car that Leon drove past the security guard post.

"Why are we here, Leon?" ask Monaliza. He did know it was Leon's apartment building, but he had never entered the conglomerate's luxury apartment area.

"I'm gonna show you something I said last night Mona" Leon said as he removed his seatbelt after parking his car in the basement of the apartment.

Monaliza also removed the seatbelt that was wrapped around her body. Leon opens the door next to Monaliza, and extends his hand to help Monaliza get out of her car.

"Thank you" said Monaliza. He parsed his sweet smile towards Leon who returned his smile. Leon always treated her special when they were both.

"Come on, holding my arm, I'll always take good care of you by my side Mona." Leon bends his elbow, and Monaliza immediately holds him as Leon asks her to. The two walked side by side to the lobby.

Dirga closed his eyes to see the scene live in front of his eyes from behind the dark glass of his car. Yes, Dirga was indeed trailing the lovers when their car came out of the Company area.

He landed his fist on the steering wheel. It feels like he wants to give up, can not fight over a woman if not because he has impregnated her.

Dirga recalled the incident that night, if he was not under the influence of alcohol, he could make sure that he would never touch the woman. But everything had happened, he could not reverse the time that had already spun.

Dirga exhaled his breath rough. He knew Leon's love was huge for Monaliza. It can be seen from the way Leon maintains his lover, although he knows his lover has been slept even pregnant by another man, but Leon does not mind all that.

Dirga runs his car slowly, leaving the basement parking lot. He abandoned his intention to keep following the lovers, not wanting to hurt himself with scenes he should not have seen if he had followed them.

"Whose house is Leon's?" monaliza asked, as Leon led her into the room on the top floor of the luxury apartment. Monaliza looked at Leon who did not directly answer her question.

"Let's just go in first," said Leon turned towards Monaliza who let go of her arm and stopped her steps behind the entrance.

"I don't want to, if I don't know who the owner is. It is impolite to enter the residence of others without permission," declined Monaliza, he was still standing in his place staring fixed Leon's face.

From where he stood, Monaliza was able to see and assess how luxurious the place was. The spectacular view shown from the room alone amazed him. Of course the owner is not an arbitrary person, his inner self.

"This house belongs to Monaliza" Leon said, staring at Monaliza. Hearing Leon's reply, Monaliza did not show her surprise, she laughed a little at Leon who was still staring at her.

"Leon, you're kidding me. Never mind, let's go home, soon I have to work, don't be late." having said that Monaliza immediately turned her body to get out of the luxury penthouse.

"Come with me, I'll show you to believe that this penthouse is really yours" Leon pulled Monaliza's hand to follow her.

Monaliza was forced to obey, something impossible according to her, it could not be a luxury penthouse and certainly amazingly expensive it was hers.

"Sit here first," Leon led Monaliza to sit on the gold-colored soft sofa in the spacious guest room. Leon sat next to Monaliza and grabbed a yellowish-brown envelope on the glass table in front of them.

"Look at this," Leon took out a thin book from inside the wide envelope, and opened it slowly sheet by sheet, not forgetting to read out the contents of the securities, what Monaliza needed to know.

"Now do you trust that this penthouse is yours?" said Leon while closing the wide book in his hand and put it back in a yellowish brown envelope and put it on the table.

"What's Leon for? Why did you buy it for me? This must be very expensive," Monaliza looked at Leon's face beside her, not believing that the man who became her lover would do that for her.

"Married to you, that's my wish, ever since I knew you as my junior high school sister in High School" Leon said with a smile considering his past first time meeting his girlfriend. He grabbed Monaliza's hand and kissed her softly.

"Since that time I have tried to keep you up to this day, "Leon's face suddenly turned sad, when remembering the misfortune that had befallen the girl, it turned out that he was not able to take good care of her as he had hoped all along.

"I'm sorry, didn't you pay for it" said the man looking at Leon's face.

"Yes you're right, here's a tip for you that has brought him here" Leon said. "No need to hesitate, I sincerely gave it to you," said Leon.again, when he saw the man seemed hesitant to accept the gift

"Alright, thank you very much for your kindness, sir," the man accepted it while bowing his body slightly, then hurried away from the place
