56. Swipe at Leon

There was only silence between Monaliza and Dirga in the car, the two kept quiet until they arrived at the hospital.

Dirga walked by Monaliza's side while pressing the remote control as she left her car. The two are still silent, although there are actually many topics of conversation that can be used as discussion of the two new couples who are getting married.

"Mona, you can go inside and look at Leon, Nadine's there. I want to talk to your boss first," said Keny still looking flat on Dirga's face.

"But-" Monaliza's face looked worried, she was afraid that the two men would make a scene in this hospital, she could read from their unfriendly posture. In any case, he would feel guilty if the two men were to fight because of him.

"Don't worry Mona, I'm not gonna get your boss to make a fuss here, isn't this a hospital?" keny said as if he understood what Monaliza was thinking.

"All right, I'll go in first" said Monaliza. After saying so, without waiting for an answer from Keny and Dirga, he turned his body and walked into the room and closed it tightly.

A few seconds later, Monaliza, who was still behind the door, slowly opened the door and peeked out from the crack of the door she opened just three fingers wide.

It appears Dirga steps behind Keny to the hospital garden chair in front of Leon's treatment room.

After noticing for a moment the two men who had now been seen chatting seriously in the park seat, Monaliza again closed the door without leaving a gap for her to peek again.

"Mona, what are you doing?" asked a woman to surprise Monaliza to make her turn immediately with a tense face.

"Ahh, Brother Nadine just surprised me," Monaliza who had a tense face is now back to feel relieved because what surprised her was Leon's sister-in-law.

The curious Nadine opened the door a little wide and saw Keny her husband was having a serious chat with Dirga in the garden seat not far from the room where they were.

When the door was opened, the temperature in the room felt colder than the previous room. Monaliza who did not use a jacket or something immediately folded her hands in front of her chest to reduce the cold that suddenly attacked her.

He approached Leon's body lying in a patient's bed with a lot of medical equipment attached to his body. The face looked pale and many fine scratches on some parts of his face were slightly flushed. On his forehead appears a bandage that sticks to a few inches in length, the gray-white neck brace that makes Leon's condition increasingly look alarming.

Monaliza touched the palm of Leon's hand which also looked pale and cold, gently he held the hand that often rubbed his head hair when he needed comfort in the past, having difficulties and bitter life challenges after the death of his father, yes Leon was always there for him at that time.

"Sister Nadine, the temperature of this room is too cold, can it be changed to be a little warm? Leon's hand was cold, maybe he was cold" Monaliza said to Nadine who was standing nearby.

"Yes, you're right Mona, I feel it, too" Nadine said, he then grabbed the remote control and changed the temperature so that the room warmed up.

How did Leon get to be like this, brother?" monaliza asked softly to look at Nadine's face, while her hand continued to wipe Leon's palm which still felt very cold to channel warmth through what she did.

"Every night" Nadine seemed to think for a while before continuing her words. "Keny called my mom at about one in the morning, if Leon was in an accident and was being taken to the hospital," Nadine explained.

Monaliza thought for a moment, she remembered Leon coming home at about twenty-one in a few minutes.

"Mona, can you explain why you came here this afternoon with the man who was talking to Keny earlier?" nadine asked turning their conversation around in a probing tone.

"The man who spoke to Keny's brother earlier, he-, he's Dirga," said Monaliza clumsily, she felt awkward when she had to explain what she had to do with Dirga now, nadine learns that she and her brother-in-law Leon are lovers.

"Yes, I know his name is Dirga, he's the owner of the Automotive Company where you work Mona.
