61. Grief

Monaliza stepped hurriedly into Leon's ward, she still did not believe the news she had heard before seeing it for herself. His footsteps began to slow down, when he saw Keny who had reported Leon's death to him over the phone crying in the arms of his wife Nadine.

Meanwhile, Mr. Gamnsonrich was sitting quietly with a blank look staring at Monaliza who had just arrived. The doctor who handled Leon-pun, he was still in the room and had just explained Leon's death to the middle-aged man.

Monaliza's hand managed to touch the doorknob and pushed it slowly. His tears immediately fell apart when he saw Leon's body lying stiff on the patient's bed, still the same when he left it a few hours ago, only the difference when he left Leon was still in a coma even though he was not aware. While now the ICU vital condition monitor has displayed a straight line without end.

The body of Miss Gamsonrich who was resting on the floor, under the patient's bed where Leon was, spontaneously stood when he saw the presence of Monaliza.

"Fuck-bearer woman! All this misfortune is because of you!" madam Gamsonrich looked at Monaliza with vengeance.

"What are you here for? You caused my son to die! Get out of here now!" banish mistress Gamsonrich dragging Monaliza's hand violently and pushing her with all her might.

"Mama don't be rude like that, Keny called Monaliza so she could see Leon for the last time Ma" Keny said as he captured Monaliza's body so as not to collapse on the floor.

"If you hadn't supported that woman close to Leon, your sister would still be alive!" mistress Gamsonrich regretted to her eldest son while crying hysterically.

"You! Poor and poor woman! I hate you so much!" after saying so, Lady Gamsonrich again attacked Monaliza who was in Keny's arms.

"Enough Ma! Enough's enough!" prevent Keny, with all his strength he tried to protect Monaliza to make her body must be left and right in order to prevent Monaliza from the rage of her mother.

"Ma, control yourself Ma!" reprimand Mr. Gamsonrich who also entered the room where Leon was. The uproar caused by his wife made himself and the doctor run into the room.

"That woman who caused our son to die Pa! So he must die too!" mrs Gamsonrich replied to her husband's reprimand, saying so, she again attacked Monaliza. He pulled Monaliza's hand so that she could escape from Keny's arms, which were still trying to provide protection.

Monaliza who was treated as such could only cry holding back her fear while hugging Keny tightly.

"Please stop Madam! Don't do that to my future wife" said Dirga who suddenly appeared and stood on the doorstep. He had expected that to happen, considering Leon's mother who disliked Monaliza very much, which is why she soon followed.

Everyone in the ward looked at Dirga, the man approached Monaliza who had released herself from Keny's arms.

"It's good that Mr. Dirga is here," mistress Gamsonrich looked coldly at Dirga while improving his standing position.

"Take your future wife away, and never let this woman appear before my family again. I'm so sick of seeing his face" said Mrs Gamsonrich.

"Let's go home," asked Dirga to look at Monaliza who was standing next to him.

"Please give me a chance to meet Leon for the last time, sir," pinta Monaliza pleaded.

Hearing Monaliza's request, Dirga felt sorry for the mother of the future baby, although in the bottom of her heart she did not accept the abusive treatment of Leon's mother to Monaliza and wanted to immediately take her future wife away from there.

"Mr and Madam Gamsonrich, Mr. Keny and Ms. Nadine, please allow Monaliza to see Mr. Leon up close" Leon pleaded.

"I promise, after this Monaliza will not show herself in front of the family of Mr and Madam again," added Dirga again while clenching his hands in front of his chest with respect.

"What does Papa mean is to allow the woman" Gamsonrich said, disagreeing.

"Enough Ma, Monaliza only wants to see the late Leon one last time," cut Mr. Gamsonrich staring at his wife full of pressure.

"Monaliza, meet Leon," said Mr. Gamsonrich. Not without reason he did. Last night, when Leon brought Monaliza to meet him and his wife, he could see how much his son loved the girl.

"Thank you, sir" said Monaliza, pleased with her face staring at Leon's father. Before he stepped away, he stared for a moment at Dirga. Dirga who also looked at Monaliza nodded her face slowly, as if understanding Monaliza asking her permission to see Leon.

After getting the signal of approval, Monaliza stepped slowly closer to Leon's body lying in the patient's bed. Medical equipment is still struggling in his body and has not been released by the nurses.

Monaliza's gaze again glazed when she saw Leon's body stiffened, the face of the man who had been her lover looked pale, there was no smile on the back there, no longer, the light of his face was gone without rest.

Monaliza again flooded her cheeks with tears that were torn considering her friendship with Leon all this time. The man was so kind, and always tried to give him a sense of security when there were people who wanted to do evil to him.

Now, the man who tried to do all the good things according to his ability has left his memories and sadness in his heart.

"Leon" said Monaliza half-whispering.

"Why did you leave us alone? And closing the age so soon Leon?" monaliza murmured, her voice trembling and barely audible, her throat felt choked withstanding the cries.

"Leon, why did you give up?!" monaliza's trembling voice suddenly sounded loud, she expressed her sadness, Leon was no longer her lover, but Leon was still a friend to her. Her cries finally spilled and echoed filled the room.

All who were there looked towards Monaliza who was standing beside Leon's bed including Dirga.

"Leon this isn't you! You're not a weak man!" Shouted Monaliza carried away feeling.

"Woman-" Lady Gamsonrich seemed annoyed at Monaliza's behavior towards her son.

"Let it go, be quiet and be quiet here, let Monaliza pour out her heart" said Gamsonrich, embracing his wife's shoulder to avoid disturbing Monaliza.

"Papa always does," madame Gamsonrich grumbled at her husband with a look of annoyance and then silenced her mouth again.

"Wake Leon! Wake up!" Monaliza continued to fumble, saying as if the man who was lying stiff was just sleeping or in a coma.

"It's not you, Leon! Comeup! You're not a weak man! Why don't you act like the Leon I know! Let's get up Leon!" Without feeling his hand shake Leon's body strongly made the mistress of Gamsonrich who saw him scream furiously.

"Stop your stupid shit, women don't know themselves! Didn't you cause my son to die?!" his yell. Monaliza did not care, as if she did not hear the angry cries of Leon's mother and continued to rumble, revealing what she wanted to say while continuing to shake Leon's body violently.

While Dirga continues to be aware of all the possibilities that occur, if suddenly his future wife was again attacked by Leon's mother.
