LOVE THE RECEPTIONIST
16. Feel Believed

Dirga pressed the bell button near the patient's bed to call the nurse to come to Monaliza's room.

"I'll help feed you" said Dirga. He shifted the chair to the bed of Monalisa and sat in front of the girl.

Dirga started scooping food out of the food box she was holding and feeding it into Monaliza's mouth watching her movements with her eyes.

Monaliza stared briefly at Dirga's face, she looked doubtful, but her hungry stomach forced her to accept the bribe given by her boss.

Dirga looked at Monaliza who devoured every mouthful that entered her mouth without hesitation. The girl looked very hungry.

Not waiting long, the food box in Dirga's hands finally clean without waste.

"You still hungry?" dirga asked, when she saw the girl was still glancing at the empty food box in her hand.

"I-yes sir, I am still hungry" said Monaliza honestly although feeling a little embarrassed, because her stomach can not be lied to, still demanding to ask to be filled again.

"What do you want to eat?" ask Dirga.

"As you said, sir" said Monaliza without thinking anymore.

"How many servings?" dirga asked again, he was worried ordering one serving would be less like before.

"One sir" said Monaliza.

"You sure don't feel less," asked Dirga to confirm.

Monaliza looked at Dirga's face, then nodded slowly, "one is enough sir," she said.

"Well, wait a minute, I'll order you some more food quickly" said Dirga, who grabbed her phone by her pants and called Firans outside the room.

"Firans, order one serving of liver chicken porridge, immediately," Dirga ordered by phone.

""Well," Firans said.

After calling, Dirga got up from her seat.

"Where are you going?" monaliza asked with an anxious mimic.

"Why?" dirga asked astonished at Monaliza's question.

"Don't leave me sir, I'm afraid" said Monaliza still with a worried face.

Dirga let out a rude sigh, "this is not true, there is no way that I accompany him constantly like this," Dirga's inner self.

"But it is also impossible for me to just leave her in this state," Dirga felt a Dilemma, between his humanity and the busyness of his work which is also demanding that he must work hard for the sake of his employees who almost two thousand souls are in his responsibility.

"I go to the toilet first, clean my hands, and this food box you've been using" said Dirga flatly trying to be patient.

Monaliza nodded her head softly after hearing Dirga's reply.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Dirga hurriedly came out of the toilet when he heard the knocking of the door, he was sure Monaliza must have been frightened to hear it.

Sure enough, Monaliza curled up at the corner of her bed while hugging her two legs that bend the chest.

"Ja-don't open sir," forbid Monaliza, when she saw Dirga walking towards the door of her hospital room.

Monaliza did not reply, she just watched vigilantly from the corner of her bed towards the door leaf that was being opened by Dirga.

"Good afternoon Mr. Dirga, I came here because from this room someone pressed the emergency call bell," said the newly arrived nurse.

"I pressed the bell earlier. Please give the patient a change of clothes, it had been exposed to food spills" said Dirga.

"Alright sir, I'll bring you a change of clothes later." said the nurse. He then said goodbye to do what Dirga asked him to do.

Not long after the nurse left, another knock on the door was heard. Monaliza again watched the door with great caution.

"Don't be afraid, it's possible that your food order has arrived" Dirga said as he walked towards the door.

"This is the chicken porridge you ordered," said Firans from the front door. He was actually curious to see inside, but was afraid of being expelled by Monaliza for the second time when he saw her again.

"Thank you" said Dirga. He then closed the door again tightly, and let Firans wait for him outside.

"Just what I said, your lunch has come," said Dirga as he approached Monaliza in bed with his patient.

"Come, continue your lunch, it's still hot, it must be very good" added Dirga, scooping and blowing it so it doesn't get too hot.

Monaliza moved from the corner of her bed to the edge of the bed approaching Dirga who was holding the food box.

Back Monaliza took a bribe after a bribe given by Dirga her mouth. Without a doubt he swallowed it just a few times.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Back to the door knock. As before, Monaliza's face looked anxiously at Dirga who was feeding her.

"Don't be afraid, it looks like the sister I asked to bring your dirty change of clothes" Dirga told Monaliza. Monaliza immediately felt calm, because Dirga's words were always right twice when someone knocked on the door before.

"Wait a minute, I'll open the door" Dirga placed the food box on the nightstand and rushed to the door to open it.

"Good afternoon Mr. Dirga, this is the patient's change of clothes you asked for earlier" said the nurse who previously came to see Dirga.

"Thank you very much sister" said Dirga, commenting on her thin smile at the suter.

"Together with Dirga. Is there anything you need anymore?" ask the sister again.

"For a while it's enough sisters, thank you very much." said Dirga.

"alright. Then excuse me, Mr. Dirga, " said the nurse. Dirga again closed the meeting door after the sister left the room.

"Just say, the nurse came to bring you a change of clothes" said Dirga carrying a paper bag in her hand approaching Monaliza who had been watching her.

"Come, spend your lunch first, after that you can change your clothes," Monaliza simply nodded, obeying Dirga's words. He opened his mouth again, taking bribes from Dirga's hands.

Monaliza felt trust in the man before her, which she thought helped her quite a lot. Starting from saving her from the man who almost raped her last night, to accompany and help feed her painstakingly this afternoon. And every information he gave about the person knocking on the door of his hospital room was always right and right.

"It's over, are you full? Or hungry again?" dirga asked, in his heart he was worried, lest Monaliza said she was still hungry again.

"I'm full sir" said Monaliza, making Dirga feel relieved at the girl's reply.

"This is your change of clothes, you can change it now," Dirga handed over the paper bag that the nurse had given her earlier to Monaliza.

The girl received a paper bag from Dirga, her lips slightly opened, wanting to say something, but she immediately paused it because she felt that it was too much trouble for the man who was her boss status.
