63. Hope to Forget the Memory

Mrs Gamsonrich stared at the ICU's vital monitor screen, which displayed an electrocardiogram wave of heartbeat detectors that had returned to normal.

The feeling was so happy, when he found out that his youngest son did not die. He stepped closer, grabbed Leon's fingers and kissed him affectionately while shedding happy tears.

"Dear leon, Mama is so glad you're back," said Gamsonrich as he rubbed his son's head gently.

Leon's eyelids began to open slowly, the look on his watery eyes looking at his mother's moist face and trying to smile at her.

"Ma-ma," Leon's voice sounded weak with no energy.

"Yes Leon, Mama's here. Mama's here for you baby" said Mrs Gamsonrich, continuing to gently rub her son's hair. He saw Leon's lips twitch without a sound.

"What do you want to say Leon?" mrs Gamsonrich asked, when Leon's voice did not come, even his son clenched his lips again.

"Ma, remember the doctor said. Don't talk to Leon too much, give him time to rest" Gamsonrich reminded his wife.

Hearing her husband's reprimand, Mrs Gamsonrich finally fell silent, this time trying to give in, not talking as much as before.

"Sir Keny, where's Monaliza?" leon asked as his glare collided with his older brother.

Keny looked back, looking for Monaliza. He thought Monaliza and Dirga had joined them when he heard the doctor's testimony that Leon was back alive.

"Monaliza didn't come in" Nadine understood as she watched her husband's gaze sweep across a corner of the room.

"She must have gone home with her future husband" said Gamsonrich, speaking without being asked.

"Ma!" mr. Gansonrich's voice was reprimanded.

"It's true, Pa, that man was indeed her future husband. The woman is indeed shameless, only last night Leon introduced himself officially to us as his lover. Today she came with the news of being married to another man, "mistress Gamsonrich murmured with a sour face.

"Enough Ma-" said Gamsonrich again.

"Papa doesn't have to defend him. She is a bad woman, she is a bad woman. How could he have come here to see Leon and to invite another man, what woman is his name if not a bad and cheap woman," accused Gamsonrich again with excitement.

"Enough Ma! Appreciate Leon's feelings! She just woke up, don't stress her out with all those obscure words!" Hardik, Mr. Gamsonrich was forced to speak loudly to his wife who could not control his speech.

"Because of that cheap woman, Papa must have yelled at Mama!" ms. Gamsonrich did not accept when she received the treatment of her husband who had never spoken harshly and harshly to her before.

"Enough Ma! Enough Pa!" Leon suddenly raised his voice to compensate for the commotion he had heard from his parents. He had gathered all his strength to stop the debate between his parents which caused his sadness to deepen.

"I wish I could forget the memories," Leon's voice again sounded weakly helpless.

Leon's parents Keny and Nadine did not comment. Now they let Leon pour out all his hidden heart.

"But when I heard she came home after a fight with Mama. I decided to just die, I gave up, I don't want to live anymore" Leon complained.

"After that, I felt like my body was floating around in a vacuum without edges, I couldn't see anything, there was only darkness there." guan Leon blankly stared at the ceiling of the hospital.

"Not long after, the headache moved on to me. I felt like I couldn't bear the pain to make my body bounce off somewhere."

"But when I opened my eyes, I saw the doctors and nurses looking at me with their tired faces smiling."

"Because I was tired and my chest was still hurting, I decided to rest first, hoping that my chest and head pain could soon disappear" Leon said.

Leon's parents Keny and Nadine exchanged looks. What Leon told them led them to conclude that Leon had woken up to the uproar that Monaliza had caused Gamsonrich to quarrel over it.

"Leon, we've heard your story, now you rest again, so that your condition will quickly recover" said Mr. Gamsonrich wiping his son's arm.

Leon nodded, slowly closing his eyelids, his body still feeling so tired at that time.

"Now we're out of here. Let Leon rest first" Gamsonrich told his wife and son-in-law.

"Mama still wants to be here Pa, Mama wants to accompany Leon," asked Gamsonrich.

"Don't Ma, later it could interfere with Leon's rest" said Mr. Gamsonrich trying to prevent.

"Mama promise, won't bother Leon. Mama just wants to accompany Leon Pa," asked the lady Gamsonrich never give up with a look of hope.

"Alright, it's up to Mama. Remember, just accompany Leon yes Ma, do not do anything else. Poor Leon, our son needs a lot of rest" said Mr. Gamsonrich again reminded.

"Yes Pa, Mama promised" said Mrs Gamsonrich.

"Let's Keny, Nadine, let's get out of here" Gamsonrich told his son and daughter-in-law.

The three then exit Leon's nursery, leaving Gamsonrich and Leon alone in the room.
