LOVE THE RECEPTIONIST

LOVE THE RECEPTIONIST
6. Cornered

Dirga and Firans had just returned home from lunch, both of them had already started struggling with such a complicated job.

How uncomplicated, the company that is being led by Dirga surya, who has just tried to move on from his mourning, already does not have cash in his company's account.

"The marketing side barked asking us to meet new units of orders of consumers, if not immediately fulfilled, the money that has been deposited as a down payment will be withdrawn by the consumer concerned." Obviously Firans while explaining the number of consumer orders that the marketing team has submitted to the marketing manager from the screen of his laptop.

"If the advance is withdrawn, the finance does not have the cash to return it to Dirga," Firans added.

Dirga stared at the laptop screen in front of her, noticing all the reports Firans described to her one after another.

It was fitting that his father insisted on him having a chat about their company this morning.

He did not expect, his indifference to the company within just twenty days of his mourning made the company pioneered by his father and mother threatened bankruptcy in a short time.

Firans continued to chirp tirelessly, giving Dirga a detailed explanation, as there was a lot he had to report as long as Dirga comforted himself.

"Firans, can you stop for a moment? My head seemed to be about to break hearing all this tangling," said Dirga as she gritted her dizzy and throbbing forehead.

"Alright," said Firans, he can understand the state of Dirga. The man before him had just tried to rise from his slump, now had to face a company that was in trouble with finances.

He leaned his tired back in his great chair, which he had longed for, when he saw his charismatic father there.

Two years in his father's stead, Dirga was able to bring his father's company to develop more advanced, an excellent achievement he carved during the history of the company Surya Automotive stands.

He made his father proud at the time. However, the single accident that resulted in the death of Megan, Dirga's fiancee, briefly made the company he was responsible for immediately plummeted drastically.

Not healed properly the grief that he experienced, now he has to deal with the complexity of financial problems that are the basis of the movement of his company activities.

How he had to raise this company like he had done before, certainly not easy. It could be that he would really make his father's company bankrupt in his hands if he took the wrong step.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Dirga and Firans alike looked towards the door.

"Come in!" dirga said.

As soon as the door was pushed from the outside, Hardi Surya's face appeared, Dirga's father in front of the door, he immediately stepped in closer to Dirga and Firans who were busy with their respective thoughts.

"Papa?!" Dirga straight up his back that was leaning in his work chair.

"Papa came here, because he heard you finally want to go back to work Dirga," said Hardi who was near Dirga and Firans.

"Papa was very happy," said Hardi with a thin smile on his lips.

"I'm sorry Dirga pa, has made this company papa wake up like this," said Dirga with a regretful face.

"That's it, it's okay Dirga. May this be a lesson to you, that you should not focus too much on your grief, life should go on" Hardi said, trying to encourage his son.

"Yes pa" said Dirga lirih.

"Have you thought about the action you're going to take Dirga?" ask the father.

"I don't know yet pa, I've never been through a situation like this" said Dirga. He still feels confused.

For Dirga, without sufficient funds in his company's cash, it is very difficult for him to move, whatever actions he takes, not in spite of the name of money, he thought.

And the money he needs right now doesn't exist, because sales are declining due to the desired units of consumers who have ordered it has not been sent by a distributor waiting for the Surya Automotive company to complete the overdue bungakan-dukannya.

"Let's check how many stock units of cars and motorcycles you still have" said Hadi staring at his son's face.

Dirga immediately saw the latest stock that had been sent by Firans through his email. He was stunned, never stock cars exceeded seven thousand units, and stock motorcycles exceeded twelve thousand units, not to mention spare parts.

"So you know, right? where is this company's money now?" hardi said he was still relaxed when he saw Dirga staring at his laptop screen.

"The turnover of our company's funds is not smooth, because it is stuck there, on the number of stock units that have not been sold," continued Hardi.

"Pope believe, you already know what you have to do now Dirga." Hardi reviewed her smile while gently patting her son's back.

"You have 8 days before the end of the month to turn your unit into money to pay your employees' salaries and all the arrears to the distributors" Hardi said.

"Thank you, Dirga understood," said Dirga who finally could review his smile.

"Papa's back in your room first, please continue the work of the two of you," Hardi said as he passed away leaving Dirga and Firans.

"Firans, get manager Davien Bare here" Dirga asked the assistant.

"Well," said Firans, he then grabbed the phone from the top of Dirga's desk and began to press the number he was headed.

"Manager Davien, you were asked to meet Mr. Dirga in his room" said Firans, shortly after his phone was connected.

After hearing the answer from Manager Davien Bare, Firans hung up and put the phone back on the table. He then sat on his desk especially when in the Dirga workspace.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!' said Dirga.

The door opened, a middle-aged man walked in, and approached Dirga's desk.

"Sir Dirga called me?" ask the man.

"Yes, please sit down manager Davine," said Dirga.

"Thank you" said the man, who was called Davine's manager, and sat down on the chair in front of Dirga's desk.

"What is manager Davien's constraint on the job?" dirga asked the man who was sitting in front of him.

"My marketing members need a unit to fulfill the orders of their customers." said manager Davien.

"The consumers have asked for a refund of their advance payment which they have entered the cashier, if tomorrow they do not get the unit they ordered," added manager Davien.

"I've been terrorized every day for the last two weeks, since Mr. Dirga didn't come in, '' complained manager Davien with a lethargic face.

"And Mr. Firans-" manager Davien turned for a moment to the assistant Firans sitting on the desk, especially in the corner of the Dirga workspace.

"He can not provide a solution to the needs of my marketing team as long as Dirga is not in the office" said manager Davien continued his speech.

Dirga glanced at Firans, his assistant and friend. He felt, manager Davien Bare's speech cornered him. The employee indirectly said that he was the cause of the faltering manager Davien's job with his marketing team.

While Firans, he remained focused on his work, even though he heard manager Davien's words also cornered him.

"Manager Davien, I'm asking you to open a new unit," said Dirga, staring at his marketing manager.

Manager Davien Bare said, he opened the tablet that he deliberately brought every time he met his boss.
