"Gue's coming home, Nan."
There was vibration and pressure in every note that William spoke as he entered the room. She knew Anan would never welcome her again, she realized there would be no one to answer her every word. Anan will never come back even though he often visits the senses where they used to try to survive in the joys and sorrows. But he did it anyway, as if that way he would feel more comfortable.
William hopes that his every action can erode his every guilt, even though maybe it can only be as big as dust.
William scanned the room, emotions overflowing from his two eyes. Everything still looks the same even though it is rarely occupied. In addition to the fine dust and musty aroma that slightly smelled, of course.
William had hired a cleaner who would work once a week, and this was not his schedule at the moment.
He entered the room, resting his body on the bed with both hands as a cushion. He stared at the ceiling, remembering when he had to beg and kneel to the owner of the index so as not to rent the room to others.
"I beg you, Auntie. I wouldn't mind at all if aunty wanted to double her rent. But, let me be the only tenant to remain here."
The owner of the index breathed a tired sigh. He had explained over and over again what he was like, but William never gave up.
"You know that's not what I mean, Le! It's not about how much money they pay. The thing is, I promised them" she said frustratedly.
William looked up, looking at the owner of a pair of shady beads whose age was only ten years older than him.
His gaze was filled with hope, lamentation and despair.
"But, this place is the only memory I have with Anan, Tan.
William's eyes were reddened. "There's nothing left of Anan except this place" he said.
The owner of the index gasped with William's attitude. That sincere attitude eventually succeeded in breaking the stance of the boarding owners. The woman who still looks young, beautiful and mature is now kneeling her temple, helpless.
"alright. You're winning. I will try to talk to them" he said, resignedly.
In a moment William's eyes were wide open. He felt an incredible sense of relief. After his mind was so agitated that he felt that there would be nothing left of their friendship, now as breezy as the wind seemed to come to cool everything down.
William was unceasingly grateful. After Anan's departure, he realized that he had made too many mistakes. Especially after she got to know Karina and started a new story with her.
"Do you forgive me, Nan?" muttered.
For her negligence that started from that night, where she unknowingly left Anan in pain alone, only to go on a date. He knew he didn't deserve to be called a friend.

Karina wakes up in the third of the night to be distracted by a ringing cell phone that keeps ringing. He looked at the nightstand and realized that it was not his cell phone. He stared at the owner of the flat object that was being closed, not disturbed at all.
His curious soul thrashed, wondering who about the person who without hesitation called his lover in this late night.
He was about to raise his body when suddenly William's burly hand hugged him possessively. Karina's smile was instantaneous. He wore every inch of the young man's face with admiration. A pointed nose, thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, thin lips and a smooth white face.
"It seems like God has sculpted it perfectly. He seems impeccable" he murmured.
Drrrt! Drrrt! Drrrt!
Karina throttled as the ringing sound again teased her. It was very desirable for him to go down and see the identity of the caller, but it was snuffed out when the mind would be considered presumptuous to wander in his mind.
Sighing, inevitably Karina chose to wake her up.
"Acst ...." Call her softly.
"Eeemm" William said without opening his eyes.
Karina giggled at William's adorable demeanor. He patted the young man's cheeks slowly while calling him back.
"Villiam ...." He's not awake yet. "Hey, wake up, please!" karina Whine.
William opened his eyes slowly. The soft voice led him to consciousness. When both of his blue eyes were completely opened, his gaze was met with a beautiful smile of a woman who was now looking at him as if fascinated. William returned the smile, not forgetting to briefly kiss his lover's lips.
"Sorry."
Karina frowned at the one word from the man who had just opened those eyes.
"For?" tanyanya, wonder.
"Sorry I got carried away. I should have been able to hold back and not do that to you" he said, regretting.
She did not want Karina to take it as rude after this and decided to stay away from her, even though William believed this was not the first time for Karina.
Karina chuckled amusedly hearing the explanation from her lover. He grew increasingly anxious, slashing the distance back to hug William from behind.
He leaned his head against William's sturdy shoulder, then whispered "Will, we're doing it together."
William looked.
Karina gently stroked William's hair, then sniffed his scent. "And we are both adults" he added, making William amazed and relieved.
William turned. Gently rubbed the hair of a sweet-eyed woman with affection. He smiled happily, carrying Karina in his arms.
"Thanks, Baby." - "Thanks."
Karina smiled as she nodded lightly.
Drrrtt drrrtt!
The sound of the ringing of the mobile phone that came back sounded their intimacy. Karina laughed, she forgot her purpose of waking William up.
"Sorry, Will. I forget. I woke you up because your phone was ringing incessantly." Karina tried to be relaxed. She didn't want to suspect her lover, let alone they had just been together.
William clucked, got up and picked up his pants that had been barking recklessly. With an annoyed face he put on his pants, then rushed to pick up his phone from the top of the nightstand.
The young man had wanted to curse, even almost swearing before seeing the identity of the summoner.
Ananta P.R's
William's surprised. He hurriedly shifted the green button and placed the flat object on his left ear.
"Why?" he said in a guilty tone.
The answer from across made him anxious. He ruffled his hair in frustration. Every now and then the young man nodded, concern planted clearly from the look on his face.
"Gue back now. Wait a minute, okay."
William ended the call and went back to Karina who had been watching him questioningly.
"I have to go home" she said, more like a plea.
Karina knitted her brows, looking at him suspiciously.
"Why, Will?"
"Someone needs me, Karina," William explained, feeling guilty.
He tidied himself up in a hurry, not caring for Karina who was still staring at him blankly. Before taking the keys and leaving, he approached Karina who looked so disappointed.
"Sorry, this is urgent." William kissed Karina softly.
"He's been like my own life, Karina. I promise I'll introduce you one day."
William rubbed the top of his head, then left it. He was in a hurry, there was no time to give an explanation to the woman who was still sitting at the bottom.
"You don't even look around anymore, Will."
There was a feeling of emptiness and unwillingness in Karina's heart when she saw William's hasty departure. Various speculations surfaced in his mind, but he tried to suppress them all.
Could it be that William had only been curious about her and had intended to leave her after getting what she wanted? Could it be that her sweet words all along were just to ensnare her temporarily?
"It looks like the one who called him earlier was someone who meant so much to William," she worried.
Karina shook her head, trying to shake off every single one of her bad prejudices. He wants to be selfish, wants William to always be by his side and be his only one. But he did not dare to be too restrictive, did not want to make the young man feel uncomfortable to decide to run as he had done.
