LOVE THE MAFIA 23
TARGET
"Where's Anan?" asked William when he arrived at the hospital, with a breath of excitement.
Robby, who was sitting in front of the room where Anan was being treated, looked at William who had just arrived. He chipped when he saw that the young man had been soaked in sweat like he had run out of a marathon. Two buttons of the top shirt that was left open due to rage, made William look more charming. If Robby were a girl, she would be fascinated to the point of not blinking at him. Although William's body has not been formed perfectly, in fact the stucco youth still looks charming.
"Not to be reprimanded, lo, Le. Running around in the hospital like that?" insinuations.
William, who was now exhausted, was annoyed at him. "Anan, how?" reworked.
Instead of answering William's question, the young man turned to playing mobile phones, ignoring him. He was still upset that William could not be reached during an emergency.
"What's a cell phone for, Le? If not to throw it away!" timpal Ginan who just arrived from the registration room, finished taking care of the inpatient letter for Anan.
William did not protest with their attitude. Even if it wasn't on purpose, he realized he was guilty. He shouldn't be so careless as to just leave his phone. He felt he had no right to be offended by the insinuations of his friends. After all, he had again reneged on his promise to Anan.
"Sorrys. Hp I missed earlier, and I just realized after getting to kosan," he complained.
Ginan looked at him. "Not usually, Le. As I recall, you are the most anti far the same hp," he said.
William snorted, not intending to explain to them. Anyway, free. At the end of it he will get a lecture as well, even though he deserves it.
"Gue look at Anan first, yes," broke up later.
William entered the room with a lethargic face. Anan was treated in a second-grade room, which usually only fit two to three patients. However, given the condition of Anan requires a more spacious room, both then and now William always decided to rent one room for Anan a. At least it won't be more expensive than a first-class room.
Seeing his friend lying blindfolded with an oxygen mask covering his mouth and nose, William felt sad. There was a plaster attached to Anan's forehead, and another one on his elbow.
"Still under the influence of sleeping pills. It was not yet time to get up" explained Ginan, who William had unknowingly followed him into the room.
William's face was gloomy. "What really happened to Anan?"
Ginan looked pityfully at the weak young man who was now sleeping quietly, then patted William's back gently. "We talk outside" he said.
From his tone of speech, William could guess that the problem was not as simple as he thought.
"Gue stay first, Nan. I'll come back later" he said, although his foster brother did not respond.
William turned around and caught up with Ginan who had already gone outside first. He closed the door slowly, then approached the two friends who looked very serious.
"Sit down" Ginan ordered.
William according. The three of them sat in the same chair, with Ginan in the middle. William glanced at his two friends, waiting anxiously for what they were about to say.
"You could say it wasn't an accident" Ginan said.
William's eyes widened. "What do you mean, how?"
"Rather precisely a deliberate accident, Le." Robby.
William stared intently at his friend one by one, hoping they were joking.
"You're not kidding anymore, are you?"
Robby snorted sharply at him. "Lo think people's lives deserve to be joked?"
He felt emotion. After all, he and Anan worked at the same place. Although physically weak, Anan is a diligent young man and also a hard worker. That's why the company entrusted Anan to the position of administrative staff, despite knowing his fragile condition. Robby liked his friend.
"Where is it?" William knew he had made his friend emotional many times.
"In front of Ziya's Cafe."
Ginan thrust out a cell phone containing a videotape at him. Doubt mixed with trembling, William's hands began to open the video footage.
There was a hoodie young man just out of Ziya's Cafe. Since the incident happened at night, it is certainly not clear whether the young man was Anan or not. It was just that, in an instant William was able to recognize her from the clothes that the young man was wearing. The hoodie was deliberately they bought a pair through an online application.
Anan was seen approaching a taxi across the street when suddenly a motorbike was speeding up from the left. Surprised, Anan did not have time to avoid making him slammed, then fell. Just about to get up, the man started his motorbike so hard that the exhaust of his motorbike emitted so much smoke. No one knows what happened to Anan because of the smoke of the vehicle, until the motor finally stopped.
"It's really on purpose!" William's heart was drowning.
After stopping, the person whose face was covered in a helmet had looked towards the cafe. Then suddenly he rushed forward his vehicle, leaving Anan who was coughing violently while curled up on the road.
"Luckily, Ning Ziya immediately took Anan to the hospital" said Robby.
"But the boy fainted before reaching his destination" he continued.
William watched all those scenes with a grim face. His hand gripped the phone firmly. He knew the accident was intentional. The person who does so wants to make it all a warning to someone, so as not to mention them.
William let out a long sigh and slowly exhaled him to suppress his emotions.
"He's Ning Ziya?" asked William while pointing at the figure who was helping Anan.
Ginan nodded. "He called us."
"Where is he now?"
"I told him to go home. Poor thing. The girl is exhausted."
William agreed. "I want to talk to him tomorrow. Also the cab driver."
William's mind raged. He felt that there was something strange about the recent events. Footprints, Algo's death, black roses, and now the assault on Anan. It was like it was directed at the same person. And that person is ....
"Don't you feel like there's something weird about this?"
Ginan nodded. "Isn't this incident similar to Algo's death?" tanyakanya.
William agreed with that thought, as he had similar thoughts. "You're right."
Here, Robby's confused. "What do you mean, how?"
"We're sure the culprit wasn't a different person. He was both meticulous and also very brave. Although it was done at night, but he openly did it in public places. Just like he did to Algo."
Robby was stunned to hear Ginan's explanation. "You're right. This guy is crazy!"
"Only, what was his motive and who was the person who deliberately wanted him to warn?"
William said with a heavy heart. "The person closest to the victim."
Both Ginan and Robby subconsciously turned to him. William smiled bitterly. "I didn't offend anyone, if that's what you want to know."
Ginan thought for a moment. "Is there anything you haven't told us, Le?"
William frowning. "meaning?"
"There may be something strange going on just as recently, but you ignore it because you think it's trivial. Like a threat, for example. If this is a puzzle, the smallest thing we need to complete the puzzle pieces," he explained.
William understood, and did not intend to hide anything from his friends. "When I went to Karina's house, I didn't accidentally find a rose on her doorstep."
Robby frowned, "we're not talking about you being jealous of someone, yeah, Le."
William glared at her." It's hard to get around if anyone talks!"
Robby scratching the nape, whining.
"That's a black rose."
The two people were shocked to look at William.
"With a greeting card. It ...."
"Don't cut it by the way. This is not a drama that you should follow the instructions of a new director!" ginan was upset.
William chuckled, then continued on "You-are-mine," he pressed.
Both of them immediately shuddered.
"The writing was written in red ink" he said, leaving them even more horrified. They know exactly the meaning behind black roses.
"Black roses are a symbol of bad luck. Not to mention his words written in red. Looks like this guy really hates the person he's targeting." Robby concluded.
"That's a grudge," said Ginan. "And the main target is probably you" he said, staring at William. William was silent, not dismissing it.
"Let's think back to when these strange events began."
