LOVE THE MAFIA 26
REPUDIATION
"Why are you here?" William frowned at Karina's arrival.
Sayu Karina's eyes dimmed, that question of course hurt her heart. Knowing that his own lover had rejected his presence, he frowned. In fact, she already missed William so much and hoped to be welcomed warmly. A hug, for example? Or, at least a smile. Unfortunately not both. Karina herself was astonished by her lover's indifference. But he tried to remain calm, assuming that William was like that probably because of Anan's circumstances.
"Your friend is sick. Shouldn't I have gone to see him?" resounding.
William's speechless. There are some things that actually disturb the young man's mind lately, making him not want to meet Karina for a while. At least, until he could ascertain his doubts. However, he was also unlikely to reject the goodwill of the woman he had loved all along. Karina has the right to do so.
"Sorrys. Sit down." William softened his tone. He stood up and gave Karina his seat. Karina smiled happily. He sat down and greeted Anan. "Hi, Anan. How are you doing now?"
"It's getting better. The day after tomorrow seems to be able to go home," Anan replied flatly.
"That's great. I brought you some fruits. Do you want to try it?" karina asked enthusiastically, pointing at the basket containing fruits that she had placed on the nightstand. She was very happy to know that Anan was okay. That way, after this he would certainly have plenty of time to spend with William. He's selfish, indeed. But Karina did not feel that it was excessive.
"I'll try it later" Anan refused. Karina nodded, no objection.
"Thank you for bothering to come here to see me, Karina," the young man added.
Karina smiled. "No problem. I happen to have some free time today. So, I took the time to come" Karina replied.
After all, by visiting Anan she also had the opportunity to meet her lover. Once diving while drinking water, that's how he thought. He did not feel aggrieved at all, except for William's response that did not match expectations.
The room that was originally alive was slowly becoming quiet. Only light conversations from Karina, Anan and also William were sometimes heard breaking the silence. In an instant, the atmosphere felt very awkward.
Unlike Robby who had always been indifferent and mediocre with the presence of Karina, Ginan had never liked the woman in the first place. From the first time Karina entered the room, she had been looking at him cynically while holding back the disgust towards him. Ginan does have some negative assumptions about Karina, but she doesn't want to reveal them, not wanting to make William feel disappointed. He prefers his friend to know everything in a different way.
Karina actually already knew about Ginan's hatred towards her, but she tried to turn a blind eye. As long as the person didn't say anything about himself towards William, he was quite relieved.
Ginan twitched her temple, she finally gave up. He would not linger in a room with a woman like Karina. "Gue go first, yeah, guys. Tell me if there's anything to help," he said, getting out of his seat.
William nodded without looking at him. Meanwhile, Anan gave a thumbs up and thanked him. "Ready, boss. Thanks for everything, yes," he said sincerely.
Ginan smiled faintly, then started walking away from the room.
"Gi, I'm coming, '" cried Robby suddenly as Ginan began to open the door. "Gue went too. Bye," she told them in haste. William and Anan can only shake with Robby's attitude.
"Lo tuh seneng really ngintilin people, yes, Rob. Like your life will never be perfect if you get used to the road alone," said Ginan who was immediately avenged by Robby.
"Gue if the road alone is afraid of being stuck no one realizes, Gi! Kan darling," he said, making Ginan shake helplessly.

"Thanks, Will's. I'd like to anterin me to the parking lot," said Karina while smiling sweetly at him. "I'll go home first, yeah. You don't forget to rest and don't eat late" he added attentively.
"Will!" A gentle pat from Karina resuscitated her daydream.
"Yes" he answered.
"What's wrong with you, Will?" Karina was worried.
William smiled awkwardly at her. "I ... may be exhausted" he said.
Karina looked at him concernedly. His heart felt pain to see his lover who looked more haggard. The gentle rubbing of William's face, there was a guilt that immediately lingered in his heart.
"I'm going to go. Rest well after this. Okay." Okay." The woman briefly kissed William's thin lips and turned around. When he was about to get in the car, William suddenly pulled the one.
Karina frowned, looking at him in wonder. "Why, Will?"
"Didn't anyone want you to talk to me, Karin?" ask William with a forced tone.
Karina was not surprised at all. He knew that sooner or later something like this would happen. Inevitably they did have to talk, and Karina had to tell the truth even though she would never be willing to face the consequences. William's attitude that had been seen avoiding had hurt his heart.
Karina smiled wryly. He patted the back of William's hand gently and looked at him lovingly.
"Wait until Anan's condition improves, yes. We'll talk about everything" he asked.
William just looked at her without speaking. Karina knew the young man doubted her.
"I understand, Will. There are so many things you want to ask about me. I love you, and I'll never run away." He scooped up that handsome face, rubbing it back more gently. "You deserve to know, and you have the right to make a choice. But not now, Will. You need a clear mind to receive all the answers from me later," he said wisely.
William gasped, not expecting Karina to respond so wisely. It was things like this that always made William fall in love with her.
William grabbed the two tiny hands from his face, grasping them gently. "Sorry, Baby. I don't mean to be gini" said William, then hugged Karina.
Karina patted the young man on the shoulder, trying to understand his current condition. "You're not wrong. You deserve to know whatever you want to know about me. It's just, your current condition isn't right."
William let go of his embrace, staring elaborately at the woman before him. In the end she chose to kiss Karina softly on her forehead, without saying anything. Maybe in the future he must think repeatedly before deciding something, so as not to harm or hurt each other.
"Go home. Rest well." William rubbed the top of his lover's head gently.
"You too" Karina replied with a smile. He got into the car and William helped him close the door. After the car started, Karina who was feeling uneasy opened the window.
"Will, take good care of yourself" he said, then waved.
The white car left William alone. He did not realize that there was a pair of eyes that continued to watch the intimacy of the two, with a look full of hatred.
The man's lips grinned, "it turned out to be true, you're here."
