"Karina, we are, yes" William asked.
Karina was stunned not believing her hearing. The red lips were speechless. For the first time in twenty-five years of his life, he received a treatment that was romantic and special for him from a man other than his daddy.
The romantic attitude and small attention that William has always given him is indeed able to make the days of Karina who was originally gray turned into more colorful. Not to mention when he realized that he did need a gentle and loving figure like William Ferdinand, given his condition that was never okay.
Karina feels very lucky to have known and become the only woman who is able to shake the heart of a William Ferdinand. He was certainly grateful for all of that. But ... doubt again shackled his heart.
"Will .... Honestly, this is the first time I've been treated so special by someone. Besides my dad, of course. And you're also the only guy who can make me feel so special. But, Will ...."
Karina scooped the air greedily, doubt making her throat feel choked. He was unable to continue his words.
Karina's gaze turned to a flower that was now being stretched out to her. He kept weighing between having to accept or reject her. He was thirsty for understanding and compassion, but he was also unsure if the decision he made would be right.
William squinted. She could clearly see the doubt from Karina's eyes.
"What kind of sentence did you end up saying to avenge a truly sincere person like me, Karina?" the insinuation doesn't like. "This ordinary man just wants to express his feelings for you, Princess," he said, this time becoming softer and more poetic.
William is approaching without a doubt. He tried to cut the distance between them. His hand grabbed Karina's soft fingers and placed the flower in her hand.
"You know what, Karina? This vibration in the chest will never be able to lie."
Plastered her other fingers Karina on the chest of her field.
"Nor will it be possible to manipulate. Because ... this expression is sincere from within my heart. I love you, Karina. Really." I sincerely.
Karina looked up, she was flabbergasted. His black netra stared at William's pair of blue netra glazed over. In haru, he tried to dive into that pair of shady neutrals to look for lies from there. However, all he could see was warmth and sincerity. He saw that there was so much love for him. Something he had always dreamed of, something he had almost never been able to have. He was lucky to finally meet William who voluntarily gave it all to him.
'It looks so perfect, doesn't it? It's exactly what I've always wanted. However ....' Karina sighed, her feelings were heavy.
"Will. You will never understand. I am not a woman worthy of your love. Me, my circumstances ...."
Karina bit her lower lip, trying to pull William's hand. However, William actually grasped his fingers tighter.
William did not know what made the woman in front of him look so worried. To be precise, whatever it is, he doesn't really want to know. She only knows that she loves Karina, that she wants to be with him and also spend the rest of their lives together.
The young man pulled Karina's body, carrying her into his warm embrace. He could feel the same heartbeat, just as pounding as he felt. It was enough to make William convinced that Karina also has a similar feeling, a feeling called love.
"Trust in every beat of our heart that beats in this rhythm, Karina. All of this comes from the sincerity of heart we have."
William stretched his hold, staring to convince the pair of neutrals he had always missed.
"You should know about every longing torment that I have had to endure, when we were unable to meet," he whispered softly, making Karina's body bristle.
"That hurts, Karina," William lamented.
"Will, I-I"
"I want to love you simply" William cut again.
"With a word that can not be spoken wood to fire that makes it ash. I want to love you simply. With a signal that the clouds could not convey to the rain that made it go away," he continued, imitating a piece of beautiful poetry belonging to the late famous author 'Sapardi Djoko Damono'.
"Will-" Karina shed a tear.
"I learned a lot from that poem, Karina. And I finally understood what it means to love you simply. No matter what and whenever, I promise to accept you for who you are, Karina. And I hope you have the same desire, too" he hoped.
If William knew that his words would one day be a boomerang that destroyed his life and the lives of those around him, he would have chosen to think over and over again before promising.
To William's earnestness, Karina was only able to be dumbstruck. The clear water now decays increasingly profusely from his eye pelupuk. He stared at Haru on a pair of blue-eyed beads that made his heart even more unsettled.
There were a lot of doubts running through Karina's mind. He knew he wasn't worthy, he knew he shouldn't involve a simple-minded young man like William in his complicated life. Even so, he also could not deny if he had longed for every soft touch and warmth of his attitude.
He wanted the young man who was currently wrapping a burly hand around his waist, even though he realized it was actually very selfish. He longed for all the attitude and gentleness that William had, something he could never get before, and only for himself.
William took off his arms from Karina's waist. The huge palm stretched out and gently rubbed away the tear spill that for him was precious.
She looked at her woman lovingly and then pressed her forehead against Karina's forehead.
William closed his eyes, his thin lips asked again, "so, Karina Larasati. Will you accept me and be the most important part of my life?"
