MESSAGES

William can still see clearly the traces of sadness from the eye of the man he had just met, even from the eyes of his beloved. Not wanting to further aggravate the atmosphere, he suppressed his curiosity about the black rose he had previously found on Karina's doorstep.

YOU ARE MINE!

The short message in red ink inscribed on the greeting card made her have a presumption that Karina had secretly hidden something from her. From the sentence, it is clear that the words are directed at the homeowner. It was more like a warning. Even so William still maintains his calm attitude, trying to understand that everyone must have their own privacy. Same with Karina. That woman must have her own difficulties. William was sure, if Karina really believed him, one day the woman would definitely tell him everything. Whatever it is, without exception.

"Maybe it's too sensitive, so Karina is not ready to share it with me at the moment. I can wait," she said.

Unfortunately, when that day came it was all too late!

"I, want to be more serious with Karina, Om," said William stiffly.

Bramantyo stared fixedly at the face of the young man before him, only to find that in his seriousness there was still a speck of doubt.

"Are you really sure of your decision?" Bramantyo asked firmly. After all, he was the only old man Karina had. He had to make sure that his daughter fell into the hands of the right person.

William felt a little clumsy. He's gone awry. He wanted to say sure, but in reality he was still doubtful. But if he says no, of course he will disappoint Karina. People say the most powerful foundation in a relationship is honesty and trust. In fact, he and Karina don't have any of that yet.

"I ...."

As if having seen the doubt from the young man, Bramantyo cut out the sentence that William was about to say.

"I don't know how far you know each other. It's just, I think it's too rushed. I like you, son. Really am. I love your directness and your responsible attitude. Only, Karina is the only treasure that is precious to me. I can't just let go of it."

William's speechless. He had never felt the feeling of being a father, but what Daddy Karina said was certainly true. Which parent would want to let go of his precious daughter just because of the pretext of love? Of course William agreed that they should get to know each other more deeply. It's just .. he doesn't know how to tell Karina all that. He is the one who promises.

William glanced at the woman who was currently looking down, thinking that maybe Karina had given up all the decisions on her daddy.

William does not know if Karina is currently grieving his fate. Condemning her being too weak and too receptive to reality, condemning her sins for lying to two people who care deeply and love her.

"No need to rush. You guys can decide to get engaged first," break up Bramantyo taking the middle ground.

William looked up, looking at the man who was at his age who had entered half a century still looked handsome and also dashing. In his heart he was very grateful. Lying if William is not currently feeling more relieved.

***

William fumbles through his pocket only to realize that his cell phone does not exist. He had wanted to knock on the door but felt bad until his neighbors disturbed his boarding house. When he was about to call Anan, his phone he could not find. William tried to recall the last time he used the flat object. The memory stopped the last time she received a call from Karina, before she left for her home.

"Damn! I threw him on the couch after receiving a call from Karina this afternoon, "he said.

William decides to use the spare key after thinking that Anan may have fallen asleep, given the time it has been showing almost midnight. After turning the key and opening the door, the young man was startled by the room which was still as dark as it was uninhabited.

"Tumben Anan didn't turn on the lights" he said. William was always the last person to turn off the lights. Even stranger, the bedroom lights are not on either. Realizing that something was wrong, William hurried to open the door.

"Where's Anan?"

William was panicking. He rushed outside to pick up his cell phone lying on the sofa. Unfortunately, the phone screen can not turn on because it has run out of power.

"Damn!" William frustrated. He ransacked the drawer to find the power supply and immediately used it after finding the object.

The young man continued to pacing while shaking his waist. Ten minutes, fifteen minutes, he was agitated waiting for the phone that this time seemed to fill up later than usual. Impatiently, he decided to turn on the newly charged phone.

The phone screen is on and instantly shows some missed calls. He shifted it open, and was immediately dumbfounded to see the call log. Ten missed calls from Robby, five missed calls from Ginan, and seven others from Ziya.

"What's going on?" muttered.

William frowned, feeling even more astonished to see the last call log.

"Tumben. I don't usually call that girl."

William was surprised. Although a little familiar, he very rarely makes contact with the son of the cafe owner who hangs out. If the girl reaches him, there must be something important.

But William did not link that to the existence of Anan. He ignored her, assuming the most important thing right now was to contact Anan. He looked through the last message or call that the young man might have left, but none of them got.

"It's not usually Anan doesn't leave a message." In a moment of confusion, a chat notification from Ginan caught his attention.

'Go to the hospital after you return!'

The message was accompanied by an upset emo.

"What's my fault?" his gerrick.

Despite not understanding the meaning of the message from Ginan, William still pressed the call log because of his bad feelings.

"Loe where, anyway!" The voice of the angry person immediately greeted his ear drum. William slightly kept the phone away from there.

"In kosan. I just got home" he replied. "Lo look at Anan, don't you?" tanyanya expectantly.

"To the hospital, now!" ginan snapped, immediately ending the call.

"This is a kid, why, anyway? Who else is sick?" muttered.

William's feelings were immediately unpleasant. Especially after he got a location chat message from Ginan. She's surprised. His mind suddenly went blank. That's the hospital where Anan is usually treated!

"Ann ...." William's lips quivered, terrified.

He immediately pulled the key of his motorbike lying on the table and rushed to the location.

"Lo's fine, Nan!"
