Chapter 54. Proposal

That day the weather was clear, the sun was shining brightly and a gentle breeze hit the trees on the side of the road. Nick is heading to Triana's parents' house to propose and ask for her accompanied by Rangga and Cinta. Nick has planned everything carefully and made sure everything goes smoothly.

Nick's been preparing everything for a few weeks in town. She spends her time planning every detail of her wedding plans carefully. After all the details were arranged and approved by Triana, Nick decided to take these important steps starting with the proposal.

When Nick reaches the door, he knocks carefully. The thirty-three-year-old man felt a little tense, and he felt his heartbeat speed up. Nick felt awkward and nervous. What's more, Triana's parents are notoriously chatty and a little unruly.

Love and Rangga hold back the laughter seeing a Nick can also be nervous. They often face business partners.

But all of Nick's anxiety soon subsides once the door opens. Triana smiled sweetly and greeted Nick. "Welcome, BangNick, Mama, Mas Rangga, Love and the cute one" she said in a soft voice. "My father is waiting inside. Please come in, Ma."

Nick enters the living room and sits on a chair that Triana's parents have provided. He looked around and was impressed by the beautiful home decor. The house is simple, but looks comfortable.

Nick is happy, but still nervous, because he knows that today will be a very important day for the relationship he and Triana.

Soon after, Triana's parents show up and greet Mama, Nick and Rangga and Cinta, who are sitting down. "Welcome, everyone," Triana's father said with a smile. "You seem very neat and certainly very polite coming here to propose to my son. What can I do to help you with today?"

Nick was amazed, but he tried to muster up the courage and start the conversation. "Thank you, sir," he said. "I'm so happy to be here and take the time to talk about my intentions to Triana."

Triana's father nodded. "Alright, Nick. Let's start."

After Nick told her how the wedding was going, everyone in the room was moved and amazed, Triana's parents even shed tears of happiness. Didn't expect to have a daughter-in-law like Nick.

Triana's father finally said. "I think your wedding plans are amazing and I believe that you are the right person for Triana. However, you have to make sure that you will treat my son well and love him forever. I'm afraid the difference between us will make you one day change your mind."

Nick responded immediately. "Of course, sir. I will respect him, love him all my life and promise to take good care of him. I am not one to look upon treasure, for to me money and treasure is indeed the duty of a seeking husband. I promise I'll live to old with Triana."

Hearing Nick's promise, Triana's parents are very impressed and feel very happy to accept Nick as his future daughter-in-law. They want to make sure that their child's happiness is paramount.

Triana is very happy to hear all the wedding plans that Nick has designed and is moved by the response his father gave her. She knew that she wanted to marry Nick and form a family with him.

Eventually, Nick's mood became more relieved and he was delighted when Triana clasped his hands lovingly and said, "I accept you as my future husband, Bang Nick, and I accept you as my future husband, this is the most beautiful moment of my life."

Nick feels full of happiness and gratitude for successfully proposing to Triana and was accepted with pleasure by his family. He is ready to start their happy and surprising future.
