Chapter 35. Love's Dilemma

Rangga finally let go and let Love go with Nick. He does not want to force, because it can make Love feel uncomfortable.

With a sad feeling, Rangga saw Love leaving. Until the car that took his wife was lost from sight then Rangga re-entered the building.

"Love, I will definitely bring you and our son back. If I let you go now, that doesn't mean I let you go. I just want to give this heart time thinking, if we're meant to be together, he'll also take you to my side again."

On the way home to Nick's house, Love just kept quiet. He didn't know what to do for his family. Separate or rebuild their relationship.

"Why you and Love? You guys quarreling?" ask Mama Merlin.

"Nick, don't shut up if you ask!" mama said with a little emotion. He asked twice, but his son did not give an answer.

"Sorry, Ma. I don't know where to start. Surely Love met her husband Rangga. He took Love back to their home" Nick said.

Mom was surprised to hear Nick. If true Love will return home means she will be alone again. Mama listened to it.

While in the room without changing her clothes, Love climbed into the bed. His eyes were fixed on the sky of the room that penetrated to the sky in space.

Love took a deep breath, remembering the meeting with Rangga earlier. Love's heart still belongs to that man. However, he was afraid that if he came back, there was still Arimbi among them.

"Allah has made me a man who is receptive to and welcomes everything that happens in this life. It's easy to feel pretty much whatever the world, about what happens if it doesn't match what I want, about every failed attempt and about missed opportunities. I can accept that it's all part of my life's journey and I can assure myself that it's okay and doesn't destroy me. I will live my life as best I can. I'm finally sincere."

Love said a prayer in his heart. He really doesn't know what to do for now. Frankly he had not prepared himself to meet Rangga again.

"Allah help me to be your servant who forgives all. I ask that if I am the one who wronged me make it easy for me to apologize, if I am not the one who was wrong, lighten my heart to forgive. Likewise, to the world, if there is disappointment and sadness that comes to me, convince me to be able to accept that behind it all there are many good things that You prepare for me to get after it."

After praying, Love tried to close her eyes. She not only loves Rangga, but also thinks about the child in her womb. It would be better to live with his real father. However, Love will see first the seriousness of Rangga. How much effort to go back.

Mama and Nick are still sitting in the living room. Mama Merlin's face changed. Nick hugged the middle-aged woman.

"Mama thought of what? Why did his face change?" ask Nick while peeping at the woman's cheek.

"Are you not interested in Love, Nick?" ask Mama Merlin.

Hearing his mother's question, Nick let go of his embrace. Looking at the face of the woman who had given birth to herself intensely.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" ask Nick.

"Mama already loves Love. Afraid that she would return to her husband's house, she would no longer be allowed to play here and see him again" she said in a sad and quiet voice.

Nick hugged his mother. He could understand the fear of the woman who had given birth to him. After losing Rachel and having to part with Love who has been considered as a child himself, of course, my mother will feel very sad.

"Ma, Love is a woman who is the wife of a person. We can't help it to stay here. Or ask him to separate. All decisions are in the hands of love. We can only support whatever the decision is" Nick said, trying to provide understanding.

Nick knew what she meant by asking if she liked Love, so she could get close to her and hope she would separate from her husband.
