LOVE IS A WOUND

LOVE IS A WOUND
Chapter 28. Contrition

Arimbi ran after Rangga. He did not want the man to think badly of him. There can be no more sorry for him.

Rangga who will get into the car, surprised when his hand held someone. He glanced towards the man. His eyes stared intently when he found out that Arimbi was the culprit.

Rangga violently stomped his hand so that the handle of Arimbi detached. The man also pushed his body. Lucky Arimbi can hold, so it does not fall.

"Rangga, you must hear my explanation. Everything you see is not what you have in mind. I was drunk that night, and didn't knowingly do any of that, trust me Rangga. I just love you. Have you ever seen me walk with another man? No'kan?" arimbi said with tears.

"Do you think I'll believe what you're saying? Just one word from your lips no one can be trusted anymore. Your bullshit won't fool me anymore. I'm even suspicious that you sent photos and videos of Love in the supermarket with a man!" rangga said with a loud and firm voice.

"It's not me. Why are you accusing me?" ask Arimbi.

Rangga took her phone and dialed a number that sent her photos and videos of Love in the supermarket. A sound rang from inside Arimbi's bag. The woman looked very surprised. He pretended not to know and not to listen.

"Thank you for that phone!" rangga's orders in a high voice. However, Arimbi ignored Rangga's words. The man was instantly emotional and pulled Arimbi's bag.

Arimbi pulled his bag which was in Rengga's hands. In order to defend the bag, Rangga pushed Arimbi's body to the ground. The man quickly picked up the phone and picked it up. It turned out to be connected to Rangga's cell phone.

"You still want to avoid if this is all you!" yell Rangga. He threw the phone on the floor until it was destroyed. Arimbi just bowed down, not daring to stare at the man's face. Rangga then threw the bag of the woman he once loved into Arimbi's body. After that, get in the car and drive away from the restaurant's parking lot.

Arimbi stood up after seeing Rangga's departure. Staring at the road the man's car was on.

"I won't let you be happy with Love, if I can't have you as well as love" Arimbi told himself.

Rangga hit the steering wheel while at a red light, remembering his actions on Love. He felt very guilty for being rude to his wife all along.

"Call for my regrets, I know this might be karma, yes I accept this karma, the reality that time will never come back. I expectantly waited for you, like a skyscraper that could not penetrate the beautiful clouds. But I realized that I was waiting for something uncertain and unattainable. I want you back. Ii'm sorry. I should never have let you go. Am I late? My regret is ever coming into your life and destroying your perfection."

Rangga made an appointment with his subordinates. He wants to know who Rachel is. He also wanted to know where Love was. The man impatiently wanted to know all the truth.

Rangga drove the car to where he promised. Upon entering the VIP room he had booked, it had appeared that two men were waiting. The man entered with definite steps. He immediately sat in front of the two people, who turned out to be his subordinates.

"Who do you know about Rachel?" asked Rangga without saying anything.

"Rachel is Rafael's girlfriend. Sister of Nicholas, your business rival, sir!" answer one of them.

"Nicholas from company X?" rangga asked almost in disbelief. Both of his subordinates gave nods in response.

"Where is that woman now?" ask Rangga.

The two subordinates of Rangga looked at each other. They seem to have a hard time giving answers. They elbowed each other, asking one to give an answer.

"Quick answer ...!" snapped Rangga impatiently wanted to know where Rachel was. Perhaps the woman knew the exact cause of her sister Rafael's death.

"Rachel had died one month before Rafael's departure?" said one of the men.

Rangga looked very surprised to hear that fact. Did Rafael kill himself because he lost the woman? Ask Rangga in his heart.

"What was the cause of the woman's death?" Rangga asked back. The curiosity is getting higher.

"He died because he killed two men!" said the man.

Rangga was very surprised to hear the answer from his man. He leaned back his body that felt weak to hear all that.

"Forward ...." Only that word came out of the man's mouth.

"On that day Rachel came to Rafael's apartment, and watched your sister making love to another woman. Rachel accidentally came to midnight to say Rafael's birthday."

The man paused his words. He looked at his friend, hoping to continue his story. The other man, nodding his head in agreement.

"Rachel immediately left the apartment and went home in a taxi. In the middle of the taxi ride then turned around, taking Rachel to a rented house that turned out to be one other man. The two men harass Rachel and then kill her. Mareka took all the girl's jewelry and money." The man stopped his words.

She pulled her hair in frustration. Didn't think Rachel's death was more tragic than her sister Rafael's.

"Is there a connection between Rachel's death and Rafael's?" rangga asked in a soft voice as he still could not believe what he heard.

The two subordinates of Rangga looked to take a deep breath. It may be a little difficult to give evidence. However, as a messenger, they must convey all the truths obtained.

"Rafael Father's sister committed suicide because she felt sorry for Rachel's passing. He feels very guilty. Because her betrayal caused Rachel's departure!" said Rangga's subordinate.

She pulled her hair in frustration. Feeling guilty for blaming Love. He had also made the innocent woman suffer.

"Love, is there still an apology for me. I realized that the mistake I made to you was fatal and cruel. I have made your life suffer. I know you are so good. Can we still meet? I want to apologize for everything I've done to you." Rangga spoke in his heart.

"Who was the woman who was with Rafael that night? Answer without long and think, because I'm sure you already know the answer," said Rangga. He had actually guessed who the woman was, but he needed certainty.

"Arimbi ...," the two answered in unison.
