Chapter 28. Contrition
Arimbi ran after Rangga. He did not want the man to think badly of him. There can be no more sorry for him.

The two subordinates of Rangga looked at each other. They seem to have a hard time giving answers. They elbowed each other, asking one to give an answer.
"Quick answer ...!" snapped Rangga impatiently wanted to know where Rachel was. Perhaps the woman knew the exact cause of her sister Rafael's death.
"Rachel had died one month before Rafael's departure?" said one of the men.
Rangga looked very surprised to hear that fact. Did Rafael kill himself because he lost the woman? Ask Rangga in his heart.
"What was the cause of the woman's death?" Rangga asked back. The curiosity is getting higher.
"He died because he killed two men!" said the man.
Rangga was very surprised to hear the answer from his man. He leaned back his body that felt weak to hear all that.

"On that day Rachel came to Rafael's apartment, and watched your sister making love to another woman. Rachel accidentally came to midnight to say Rafael's birthday."
The man paused his words. He looked at his friend, hoping to continue his story. The other man, nodding his head in agreement.

"Is there a connection between Rachel's death and Rafael's?" rangga asked in a soft voice as he still could not believe what he heard.
