LOVE IS A WOUND

LOVE IS A WOUND
Chapter 52. Is This Dating?

A week has passed since his aqiqa event Adiba. Nick has been playing at the house of love more and more. Sometimes with the reason of wanting to see a baby or just to deliver mama-made food.

Nick gets nervous when he calls Triana, his bluff, to make a plan to go on the road. They've been together, but Nick still feels shy and awkward around him. Finally, after thinking and looking for courage, Nick sends a short message to Triana and offers an idea to go for a walk in the city.

"Hey Triana, how are you? Anything interesting you've been doing lately?" Nick asked.

"Hey Bang Nick, as you know, my job is just to help Love take care of her daughter. Is there something you want to talk about?" Triana asked back.

Nick took a deep breath before typing his answer. "I had an idea to go to the city and explore new places. Do you want to join me?"

Triana responded quickly. "Of course, Bang. If Love allows. When is the plan we can go?" ask Triana

Nick was relieved, but still a bit nervous. "Good! What if we leave tomorrow? I will pick you up at home, and borrow you to take the road" replied Rangga with a soft laugh.

Triana smiled as she replied to the message. "I have stuff to borrow. Tomorrow away? Sounds good too. Later I will tell Cinta and Mas Rangga," said Triana.

After quite a long chat they finally ended as well. Triana seemed to smile as she sent the last chat.

The next day after asking Rangga for permission, Triana finally went with Nick.

They finally decided to visit some new restaurants in the city. Nick has been waiting a long time to take Triana all day.

"Oh, you look so pretty today" Nick said with a smile as he drove.

Triana returned her smile. "Thank you, Bang, you look good."

Nick was shocked when he heard the reply from Triana. He thought the woman was shy. It turns out that after getting closer, he only found out that Triana was not as shy as he thought. He is braver than love.

They kept talking during the journey towards the city, figuring out what they would do later. Nick mentioned the beautiful restaurant that is famous for its distinctive seafood and guaranteed cleanliness plus the view around the restaurant is very good.

"You know, I feel really good with you, Bang Nick," Triana said with a gentle smile.

Nick smiled shyly. "I feel the same, Triana."

"Of course, it would be nice to spend more time together" Triana added.

Nick felt his heart flutter. "I wish you felt the same way."

Triana smiled as she replied. "Of course I feel the same, Nick Bang."

They finished the night by taking a walk around the beautiful city. Nick feels so impressed with Triana and decides to say the last thing that matters before going home.

"Triana, you know, this might sound classic and cheesy, but I want you to know that I really like you. And I hope you have the same feelings as me."

Triana smiled happily and was a little embarrassed. "Oh Bang Nick, is this not too quick to express feelings, brother. Will you not regret it later?" ask Triana.

"I'm sure of how I feel!" nick said firmly.

"What if we knew each other personally first, Bang. Marriage is a lifetime. I want to get married only once. Let's go first" Triana said.

Finally they agreed to go through it first, while knowing each other personally. Don't forget Triana confessed her feelings. He doesn't want to fool himself if he likes Nick too.

They drove home and closed the trip with more than just a trip to the city. Nick has expressed his feelings, and he feels nervous and happy because Triana feels the same. They know that this is not the end of their journey, but the beginning of a bigger and more beautiful one.

Nick promises to do whatever it takes to get Triana to take things more seriously. For him there is no luck with the road together for long, it is better to get married immediately if you are sure of the choice. Nick, who has never been close to any woman other than his mother and sister Rachel, is terrified that Triana cannot accept him. And so is Triana.
