Chapter 40. Accident

Love stood up from her seat, and approached Rangga. The woman stood right in front of the man. He grabbed the man's hand, and put it on the stomach.

"Didn't you want to see this fetus grow healthy into adulthood?" ask Love.

"Of course I really want that" Rangga replied firmly.

"If that's the case, why is it that you're talking weird?" ask for love again.

Suddenly Rangga hugged the waist of Love tightly. He kissed the woman's stomach. Her tears fell without her noticing. Love erased. Then kissed her husband's eyes.

Hearing Rangga's story, the woman felt pity and moved. It must be hard being that guy. Facing all alone without any place to lean and share.

Rangga asked Love to sit on his lap. Luckily, they are currently in the VIP room so they can have more privacy.

"Love, I don't know if you've really forgiven me now or not, I just want you to believe that I'm so sorry for everything I've done to you. I want us to start all over. I'll prove to you that I'll be a husband and father to be proud of."

Rangga continued to stroke the stomach of Love, for some reason he liked the activity. Love is just smiling. She could feel the change in her husband's attitude at this moment. The grass is much softer and not temperament anymore.

However, to return at this moment he could not either. Love should talk to Merlin and Nick's mama first. Are they not the ones who helped him in times of trouble. Love does not want to be said by those who do not remember to return.

"Love, do you want to go back home?" asked Rangga again in a soft voice.

"I'm sure, but I don't want to force you to come with me right now. All decisions are in your hands."

"Will I wait another week when I decide everything?" ask Love. She also wanted to test how serious the man was about getting back at her. If Rangga really wants him back, surely the next week is not a long time.

After talking quite a lot, Rangga and Cinta left the restaurant. The man took Love way to the mall and bought a lot of her needs.

At nine o'clock last night Rangga drove Love home. Arriving at Nick's house, the clock has shown ten o'clock in the evening.

"Send my regards to Mama and Nick. I can't stop by because it's late. Rain will fall" said Rangga when delivering Cinta.

"Yes, Mas. Soon Mas must return because if it rains, the streets of Iicin. Carefully drive. Don't speed," message Love.

"Yes, Love." Rangga then kissed his wife's cheek before getting into the car.

Love looks until the car is gone from the sight of his eyes. After that Love went straight into the room because Nick had not come home and mama was still out of town.

Nick is still approaching Arimbi. He will not be satisfied before getting certainty, the woman's involvement in Rachel's death.

At ten o'clock in the night, the situation on the highway began to quiet down. It had been two hours Rangga drove his wife home to Nick's parents who were out of town. After parting ways, he turned on the car engine and turned the direction to the city. He felt tired and wanted to go home to rest.

When Rangga was on the road, in a short time, suddenly appeared a car from the opposite direction. The man saw the car was driving at high speed, and pointed directly towards his car. Rangga immediately stepped on the brakes, but it was too late. The car from the opposite direction had already hit Rangga's car hard. Until he was thrown out of the car and his body crashed into the asphalt.

Rangga felt his body thrown from the left side of the car. He immediately felt a pain in his head and some parts of his body.

However, not long after that, there was the sound of shouting from a distance. Several people were on foot and approaching the crash site. They offered help to Rangga.

They then took Rangga to a nearby hospital and provided the necessary assistance.

The love that had just closed its eyes was startled with someone turning on the lights of his room. When Love sees who it is, she smiles to find Nick coming in.

Nick sat on the edge of the woman's bed. Love then wakes up and sits down. He looked in surprise at Nick who was just silent with a slightly anxious face.

"What's up, Bang? Why is my face so? What happened ...?" ask Love anxiously.

He's sure something's going on. Looked at Nick's very tense face.

"There's bad news about Rangga, your husband," Nick said slowly.

“Ih, Brother, don't scare me like that. Tell me directly, what happened?" Love is trying to calm down.

“Your husband had an accident on the road earlier. A friend of his told me earlier," replied Nick.

“Astagfirullah. What the hell happened to him? He's fine, right?” ask Love in a very worried voice.

“He needs surgery, Love. Fortunately, he is not in critical condition. He is currently still in the ICU room of the hospital.” Nick tried to calm Love.

“Yes Allah, Yes Rahman, may Mas Rangga be healed soon. I'll be going to the hospital soon.” Love then wakes up from sleep.

"The driver has asked me to get the car ready. You change your clothes. We'll go to the hospital soon" Nick said.

Nick came out of the room to change his clothes. He lied to me by saying that Rangg is okay.

Love chooses clothes that are good and worthy of her use. In just a moment he had been waiting for Nick in the living room. After Nick appears, the two of them get into a car that has been waiting in the yard.

On the way, they both chose silence. Love so remembered the words of her husband, while eating in the restaurant. It was as if her husband was giving a bad feeling.

Love still kept silent during the journey, she did not have the right words to express her fear and love for her husband.

Arriving at the hospital, Love went straight to the ICU room. She saw her husband lying with a body full of tubes and wires. This was a scene he never expected to happen. Love saw her husband unconscious and felt great sadness.

Love is remembered by what both parents experienced. They left the world because of an accident. He doesn't want it to happen to him again.
