Love for the Heir's Wife

Love for the Heir's Wife
Chapter 89- Preparing to Go

Widya meets Asty in her room, carrying something she has prepared in a large tote bag.

“It's ready?” widya asked while watching her daughter, it seemed like she had just finished packing the clothes she was about to carry in the suitcase.

“Already, Bu.”

“This, take it for your future-in-law's family.” Widya handed him the bag she had just brought, Asty took it away with a feeling of pleasure.

“What is this, Mom?”

“Just a little souvenir, I just finished shopping and bought a hand for Raldy's family there. By the way, when is your flight schedule? How can you go suddenly like this?”

“Later afternoon, Mom. Yes, fortunately tomorrow I have no teaching schedule followed the day after tomorrow. Raldy's family also impromptu membarinya, it happens that there is a family event all of them want to meet me.” Asty explained at length to Widya.

“Yes already, be careful yes. Alright while at your prospective-in-law's house. Until I greet you Mother.”

“Iya Ma'am, definitely. I'm a little nervous anyway because I'm going to meet their big family.”

“It's okay, make yourself as comfortable as possible. Mothers know their families really from a long time before they moved out of town, they are good at accepting and treating guests. Moreover, you are now their future daughter-in-law.”

“Iya, Mum.”

“Oh yes, Mother just remembered. Yesterday a friend of yours visited here, his name was Anya. Said he got a recommendation from you so he bought a lot of cookies yesterday,” Widya said.

“Annya?” Asty furrowed her brows hearing that name. Especially when I found out that the girl was here.

“He's your college one-time coworker right?”

Asty just assures doubtfully without knowing the purpose and purpose of Anya to go to his residence.

He took a moment away to the balcony, he then pressed a phone call to contact someone. His face immediately sparkled, after which his call got an answer.

“Happy birthday!” asty said excitedly. “Sorry, Brother just said it. Sister today want to go to her parents' house Raldy, later your gift will follow.”

Meanwhile, Elvira who was on the phone with her brother was seen smiling by herself. “Thank you, Brother. I wait.” Elvira answered.

Not long after, the sound of knocking on the door from the outside distracts Elvira so she quickly ends a short chat with Asty.

Dewanti went into Elvira's room and met Elvira who was sitting on the edge of the bed, apparently just putting back her phone. Since returning home, he still felt he did not want to go back to the office.

“Honey,” greet Dewanti.

“Oma.”Elvira greeted back warmly, her eyes immediately directed at a map that Dewanti now brought.

“You haven't returned to the office?” ask Dewanti while sitting next to her.

“Numbered, Oma. Had to relax for a moment in the room,” replied Elvira.

“Honey, you have gone through many things that make your life lose peace, especially after the presence of the woman. Forgive Oma yes, Oma can not do anything so far against him,” said Dewanti sounding soft.

“It's okay, Oma. Don't think too much about this. I know Oma is also in a difficult situation because the child in Anya's womb is the great-grandson of Oma as well.”

“Entah must be how, Oma never wanted to get new offspring in our family in this way. Even if there is an associated bloodline, Oma only feels heavy hearted to accept it,” said Dewanti.

“Sorry to me, Oma. If only I could look after my future son ..”

“Honey, how many times have Oma said if it is not your fault,” cut Dewanti. “You don't need to feel guilty, now Oma wants you to focus your life for your own happiness. The past let it pass.”

Elvira.

“This is for you.” Dewanti then handed over the map with a pen.

Elvira accepted it with a slight hesitation. He felt increasingly hesitant when he saw the contents of his document containing a letter of acceptance of power of ownership of shares that Daffin had given him.

“You just need to sign the document, the rest of Oma will take care of it. Maybe this is all Oma can do to protect your rights, Elvira.”

“Oma no need to do this.”

“Sorry big lady, there is a phone call for Madam,” Mirah said.

“Honey, Oma stay first yes,” pamit Dewanti who immediately came out of Elvira's room.

While at this time Elvira again put the document to her side. He really can't accept any of this. What he has experienced so far, has changed the course of his life that was once only oriented, if wealth is the thing he must have to live happily.

But it seems like he doesn't want that anymore. Given this time, he still kept a secret that would certainly shock Dewanti greatly. It might make him angry, if you know Elvira's lies all along.

Any kind of kindness and affection given to him during this time alone, was enough to make Elvira feel guilty, for fear of disappointing Dewanti.

Threshed at this time towards a wall, where still displayed a photo during his wedding with Daffin. A beautiful picture frame that until now was still reluctant to let her down from her position, because only then could she continue to remember her late husband and all that Daffin had given her. Although there are still wounds in those memories.

...☘︎☘︎☘︎...

After some time, Dewanti returned to Elvira's room after finishing her affairs.  But he no longer saw the existence of Elvira, but there was only a map with a pen that Elvira put on the bed.

Dewanti immediately took it and examined it, but she did not get the results she wanted, when she saw the signature column of Elvira's name was still empty.

...☘︎☘︎☘︎...

Meanwhile, Elvira is now back to visit the flower shop that she once went to at that time and accidentally met Daffin here.

For Elvira, it was her first meeting with Daffin, although for Daffin it was the last time she saw Elvira.

Elvira immediately entered, then ordered a beautiful flower arrangement. After finishing at the flower shop, Elvira immediately drove back to drive her car to break the crowd of the highway.

After a while, he arrived at the tomb of Daffin. Elvira floated a smile, as she placed the wreath she was carrying on top of the navel.

“Sorry yes, Mas. Lately I rarely visit,” said Elvira as if talking to him.

He caressed the tombstone with affection and tenderness. He paused for a moment to look at the engraving of the name, and again could only stroke it.

“You brought me into your family, but instead you have to leave them because of me. I will never forget about you and all that you have given me. But I have to tell them everything about me. Even if in the end I have to leave them, I will still remember them just as much as I always remember you.”

Elvira sighed for a moment, then she smiled again.

“If you can see my situation here, you will surely know if until now I still keep you in my heart. Thank you for everything, peace is there.”

Elvira wipes the corner of the eye that starts to water. “I will find the right time to tell them, more precisely prepare to go from them,”.

“Elvira.” A familiar voice called out his name, Elvira immediately turned her head.

His eyes stupefied. “Gio? You here?” ask Elvira wonder.

The man gave a smile for a while, then noticed the name engraved on the navel.

“I'm missing someone, so come here. I happened to accidentally see a beautiful woman here. It makes me feel like I have to say hello to him, because he is someone I know,” replied Gio who is currently talking about Elvira in front of his own people.

“Oh yes?”

“You must also be missing him huh?” guess Gio's looking at Daffin's grave.

“Mm .. Yes.”

“Hm .. I hope it won't rain this time. Since I wasn't carrying an umbrella, her candle” made Elvira smile.

It seems that her beauty is increasingly emphasized with a knotty smile, which is able to captivate anyone who sees it.

“I'm going to leave now,” said Gio suddenly felt afraid his heart would waver if it lingered on him.

Elvira just assented, while letting the man's back away from her.
