Chapter 11 - The Lies

Daffin who just arrived home was seen looking for the whereabouts of his wife because since then he was still on his way several times to call his number but not answered by Elvira.

Until finally Daffin found him who was seen walking in the garden behind the house.

Like getting a surprise, Daffin was very happy to see his wife was able to walk again even though she looked still careful and occasionally had to hold on to a park bench nearby.

Daffin excitedly walked over to her but Elvira's back seemed to have not noticed her husband's presence. Suddenly the existence of Daffin who hugged him from behind surprised him who was focusing on walking exercises.

“Mas Daffin, you're home?” greet Elvira who has realized the presence of her husband.

Though it was still noon time and Daffin's presence gave him a question mark as to why he had suddenly returned home. Not usually.

“You've eaten?” ask Daffin who is still reluctant to take off his embrace.

“Numbered, Mas. You?”

“No, I want to have lunch with you.”

“Ya already, later we eat together ya.”

“Iya, by the way, it looks like you can already walk again.”

“Iya, Mas. I practice every day. Oh yes, I want to sit down now.” Then they sat down on the long wooden bench that was near them at the moment.

“Mas, you know, how scared I was when I saw you in a coma in the hospital.”

“Mas?” call on Elvira who awakens Daffin from his daydream.

The answer given by Daffin turned out to be unexpected Elvira and it made him very sad because Daffin still could not be honest with him. That was not the answer Elvira wanted at the moment.

Suddenly Daffin's phone rings breaking Elvira's troubled mood with her husband's attitude.

“Honey, a minute yes. There's a phone from the office.”

Daffin immediately answered the call and spoke openly in front of his wife although Elvira knew that this was only part of Daffin's attempt to convince her that he would not keep any secrets behind Elvira's back.

“Darling, sorry yes. I have to go now. Today it turns out my guest is advancing his arrival schedule, I have to visit him. It's okay, right?”

“Iya, Mas. It's okay.”

“I'm leaving now yeah, I promise we'll have dinner together at home. I won't be home tonight.” Daffin immediately kissed Elvira on the forehead and immediately left.
