Love for the Heir's Wife

Love for the Heir's Wife
Chapter 60- The True Revenge

The two arrived in front of Daffin's tomb. Elvira noticed Anya who seemed to be silent just looking towards the writing of the name written on the navel.

“What do you think?” ask Elvira.

But Anya was still silent especially her mind still remembered about the statement from Elvira before that made her mind riled at this time.

It was a waste of struggle if in the end he could not get what should be the right of his son.

“You ever say don't you really love Mas Daffin? Is that a lie? Now that you're at his grave, what do you think? Can you cry sincerely?”

Elvira's question made Anya turn her head towards him.

“Why can't it? See, you can't even be sad even when you're here. You can't love her like I love her. You only hold a grudge against him because Daffin mas cannot repay your love, and now you're putting everything on me!”

Elvira added her steps one step closer to Anya while still finding a look of anger from Anya.

“What did I say was wrong? There's nothing you can do because Daffin's mas is gone. Looking at your gaze, I can't see anything other than just being filled with resentment.”

“Yes! I am vengeful for not being able to have it and all because of you! I swear I will never let you live a quiet life with the love and treasure that Daffin has given you!”

Anya then approached while looking at Elvira with a sharp gaze and holding both of her shoulders, the next second he immediately pushed Elvira violently until Elvira fell and sat down next to Daffin's tomb decorated with fine green grass.

Anya puffed up her chest because she could now stand in front of Elvira who was still not moving from her seat.

Noticing Anya's suddenly daring treatment like this made Elvira look back at her with a glare of sharp eyes.

“You wish I could be nice to you? It won't! I'll take away everything that belongs to you that should be mine! Wh why? Are you surprised that I can do this to you? We're not at home, here no one sees us!” Anya then glanced towards Elvira's hand that was already firmly clenched.

“You're thinking of pushing me back like I did? Come on, do it!” challenge Anya.

But Elvira suddenly glanced towards the tomb of her husband and made him instantly reduce his anger that had stirred.

He was angry because Anya dared to touch physically and push him, but Elvira thought she would not be able to reciprocate the treatment.

Not because he admitted defeat, he only felt if he did something similar then what difference he had with him. While at this time he saw Anya was only filled with the flames of revenge.

“See how weak you are! You won't be able to repay me unless you can hurt a pregnant woman!”

“Saddening, how could my husband have a daughter from a girl like you.” Elvira voiced out softly regretting that.

“You who chose to hold on to Daffin, then you should get hate from me!” then Anya just left him.

While Elvira, still in her position, now shed tears of sorrow for all she had to go through, she stared at Daffin's tombstone again.

“I won't blame you for what happened to me. Even if this is karma for me because I used to waste your love, I will accept it. In the past, I chose to live with you, and now I have to accept all the destinies I have chosen,” the sobbing Elvira.

It was like entering a place where he was trapped as if he could no longer get out of there and that was the destiny he had to live.

...----------------...

At this time the rain water flushed to make his hair and clothes began to get wet. He immediately tried to get up to find shelter.

Just about to move from his current place, Elvira's footsteps were restrained because suddenly there was someone who came out of nowhere to give him a little shelter from the black umbrella he was carrying.

Elvira opened her eyes realizing that the one before her was now Gio.

“How can you go on a pilgrimage on a cloudy day, but not willing an umbrella?” chirps Gio. Elvira seemed silent not to respond.

“Let's go to the resting place to take shelter,” invite Gio.

Elvira then follows Gio walking in the shade of the same umbrella.

Not long after, they had arrived at a special resting place for pilgrims and there were already a few others who were sheltering there, there are several benches available and they sit on one of them while watching the rain that seems not to stop falling.

“Who are you visiting?” gio asked but Elvira was still reluctant to answer his question.

“I did not expect to see you here, you must be among those who rarely visit this cemetery area because I just saw you.”

“Oh yes?” Elvira suddenly made a short voice but was able to make Gio smile thinly.

“I'm among those who often come here to visit someone, he's long gone to leave me first. Him, someone who means a lot to me.”

Elvira was still in silence listening to the outpouring of hearts from this man who sounded soft because Elvira also felt how it felt to have lost someone meaningful in his life.

Looking at Gio picking up and checking his phone, the next second he seemed to be answering someone's call.

“Good, I will be there soon,” Gio said after a while listening to an explanation from across the phone.

He then noticed the rainfall that apparently had no signs of stopping, but it seemed Gio was in a desperate situation because he had to do his job again.

On one hand he had found Elvira's face that looked sad, Gio noticed for a moment the beautiful face that when he first met her at that time was filled with arrogance now even looks much different.

“I'll go now, you just wear this umbrella. But I didn't give it away for free. If fate brings us together again, I will take my umbrella again.”

“But.” Elvira tries to resist but Gio doesn't seem to give her a chance to talk.

“This is a trust, take good care of my umbrella because this is one of my very valuable items. Think of this as my sympathy for a beautiful woman who is sad.”

After delivering his words, Gio immediately ran trying to break through the torrential rain to approach his parked car not far from their current resting area.

While Elvira did not have time to hold it but just looked annoyed while staring at the umbrella left by the man who still felt foreign to him.

“It's just an ordinary umbrella, what's the importance? In the store too many people who sell,” grumbled Elvira was upset because Gio impressed forced him to keep the umbrella.

But the next second he glanced again at the object and thought if this time would be very useful to help him can immediately leave this place to go to his car.
