Love for the Heir's Wife

Love for the Heir's Wife
Chapter 106- Remaining Disappointment

Gio flinched, then immediately stood up from his seat. “Elvira?” I can't believe the woman came back here.

“I just keep thinking. No matter what Mother Rani said yesterday, I just came here with the intention to visit Anya.” Elvira explained, as if giving an answer to the question implied in the look of Gio's eyes.

“For what? You don't have to do it.”

“I have no special reason, I really just want to see it. I hope he'll be okay.”

Gio seemed to be thinking hard for a moment.

“Elvira, can we talk to you for a minute?” suddenly doors. Elvira nodded in agreement.

They then went to a park around the hospital, Gio claimed to need a special place to talk to him about something.

They sat in one park chair, it took Elvira a while to wait for Gio to start the conversation, no matter what the man had in mind.

Suddenly Elvira is startled by something Gio is showing, her eyes stunned to see the thing Gio placed between their gaps, a plastic-wrapped knife.

“It was evidence found at the scene yesterday, the thing Anya used to harm you. It's okay if you want to report this incident to the police, you have the right to report it for attempted murder.”

Elvira was stunned to hear Gio's words. “What do you think?”

“Because you have the right to do so. I actually saw directly from a distance, how my sister tried to harm you. I'll be willing to be a witness, or, do I need to report it?”

Elvira looked at him in disbelief. “What are you doing? She's your own sister.”

“It is precisely because she is my sister that she must be rewarded for her actions. Every action, does not there have to be accountability?”

Elvira was still silent, unable to believe all this. He didn't even think about it that way.

“You forgot who I am? I am a person who works in law enforcement. No matter she's my sister though, I'll treat her as well as I should. Maybe this is all I can do, I will definitely educate and take care of it even better.”

“No, I won't do this!” Elvira. “I've forgiven him, and let everything go.”

“Then what if at that time he managed to harm you?!” asked Gio with a little affirmation. Elvira fell silent.

Gio then bowed down, a tinge of sadness clearly drawn on his face. He covered his face with both palms, bringing out a water shaft in the corner of his eye.

Withstood all regret, as well as shame and guilt before Elvira.

Elvira rubbed her shoulders and said, “I told you, it's okay. What happened, let it go. Gio, Anya even had to lose her child as well as her womb. Unimaginable how she feels.”

Gio wiped his tears, then ventured to look at Elvira. “Why? Why do you have to be this good? We do not deserve all your kindness. It would be much better if you hate us, we deserve it.”

I just couldn't do it, the helpless mind of Elvira he spoke of.

...❅❅❅...

The two walked together, but did not speak to each other. Without Elvira noticing, Gio turned his head to look at him.

Gio really did not understand what this one woman's heart was made of. Instantly, he became very disinclined towards her.

According to him Elvira is a person who has wealth and power, maybe it will be able to easily throw Anya into prison for his actions.

Elvira held back her steps, immediately realized by Gio who also stopped. They raised their eyes to the two people who were currently in front of Anya's ward, seemingly just arriving.

“Oma?” greeting Elvira, surprised to see the presence of Dewanti who came with Meisya.

Elvira turned her head towards Gio, the look in her eyes implying many questions. He felt he had not told them anything.

“I'm sorry Elvira, actually I contacted and told everything to Mother Dewanti,” said Gio admitted.

“What?!”

“Oma already knows everything.” Dewanti voiced out, while giving a glimpse to Gio.

Meisya who was already in a state of rage, went straight into the room, immediately followed by Elvira and Dewanti.

The two people inside looked dumbfounded, especially Anya who was sitting on the nursing bed accompanied by Rani.

While Rani immediately stood up from her chair, welcoming the arrival of Meisya, whom she did not even know.

“Mother Meisya?!” anya's greeting mixed with a feeling of shock.

“What happened? How can you act so recklessly?! You should always act as you please. Just look at the results of your own actions, you can't even protect the child Daffin!” chirps Meisya.

“Ma!” Elvira approached him, seemingly Meisya was just being indifferent to him.

“It's enough, your deeds are so embarrassing! For this matter, I don't want to get involved with you anymore. From now on don't show your face again in front of me!”

Meisya warned with hateful views. Now, Anya was like a useless person in her eyes.

After being satisfied with his heart and disappointment, Meisya immediately decided to leave the room, without caring about anything else.

“Bu Meisya!” Anya called for his name, but was not understood by the owner of the name.

Anya who looked pitiful, now could only cry while in Rani's arms. Crying the fate of self that is now like a wasted person.

“Bu,” oozed in a cry filled with regret. “I've lost my son! Now I'm also a woman without a uterus, Miss.”

Rani is speechless, she can only continue to hug her daughter lovingly.

Trying to calm Anya's shaken soul, by giving full inner support.

The two hugged with a feeling of being wrapped up in solitude, not caring anymore about the existence of others in that place.

Elvira, who was sad to see him, was shocked by the hand of the Dewanti who invited him out of the room.

Dewanti held back when dealing with Gio, who had only chosen to stay out of the room.

“I appreciate your honesty in telling me everything I don't know, even from my own grandchildren. But your sister's actions have been so outrageous, she forgot who to deal with. There will always be things accounted for as a result of an act.”

“Oma.” Elvira tries to break Dewanti's emotions.

“Silence, Elvira!” the Dewanti looked angry.

Elvira shut up for a moment. While Gio seemed to be silent, he only listened to every word of the woman who was full of authority.

“We are not involved in any more business, you should take care of your sister well. From now on I will not let you guys approach our family again.” Dewanti sighed pausing her words.

“I also did not turn a blind eye to the kindness you once did to Elvira. But it seems, maintaining distance between our families, will be much better,” concluded Dewanti.

Without having to wait for a response from his interlocutor, Dewanti immediately pulled Elvira's hand to take her away.

...❅❅❅...

Meisya seemed still disappointed over the reality she faced, shattered all her plans.

His eyes shone sharply, even the roar of his breath alone, harboring anger. Now it seems that he has to admit defeat, allowing Elvira to reign in his family.

Until now Meisya was still indifferent to Elvira, it felt his ego was too high to be easily torn down. He also did not want to show himself out of his room.

Meanwhile in a room.

“You're much better now?” asked Dewanti, looking worried, he noticed that Elvira had just put her cup back on the table.

Elvira nodded.

“Oma understood Meisya's form of disappointment, she must have craved the son of the late Daffin. Although Oma is also sad, somehow Oma feels a bit relieved.” Dewanti expressed her heart. “Especially see you in good condition.”

“Iya Oma's. I'm sorry if I often hide something behind Oma, I don't mean to forget Oma in my business. I just ...”

Elvira held back her remarks, puzzled over how to explain it if she simply did not want to make Dewanti worry.

“It's okay, Elvira.”

“Oma, I've cleared everything that's happened. So I thought, should this matter not need to be extended anymore.”

“If it's your decision, Oma will follow. But from now on, Oma promises to try to better protect you.”

Their conversation came to a sudden halt, as both of them instantly turned their attention when someone new entered, accompanied by Mirah who was directing the way towards this room.

“Mother?” greeting Elvira was well aware of the arrival of Widya.

Elvira immediately stood up from her position, about to welcome her arrival. But there was something different, Widya's gaze was really cold.

The look on his face implied anger and disappointment, not knowing what had happened.
