Look at me, Delilah

Look at me, Delilah
Go away

Half a day Delilah has to take care of Kyomi alone while Nayaka has entered work after one day's permission. He also packed luggage to take home.

Upset and tired especially Kyomi even whined continuously as if the milk given by Delilah was not enough. The tip of hers became scuffed due to Kyomi's suction.

"Can you give me formula milk?" ask Delilah to the nurse.

"It's better to give him Asi, Mom," said the nurse.

"Mine's chafed. I'm in pain to suckle him."

"Wait here. I'll give her formula, "the nurse said.

To get formula milk alone, Delilah had to talk at length. This is because Nayaka who has not yet come and bought formula milk for her daughter. Delilah was also a grudge against the nun who had always paid attention to her. What if the nurse was afraid she abandoned Kyomi just because of last night's troubles.

The nurse came with formula milk with the doctor who was going to check on Delilah. He has been allowed to go home, but has to wait for the final inspection and Nayaka of course.

The doctor examined the mother and child. All are declared healthy. However, Delilah had to hear the advice about being a good mother.

"Thank you, Doctor," said Delilah, "I will always remember your message. Don't worry about my daughter's problems. I can handle it."

"Alright, but remember this. Your daughter is a gift" said the female doctor.

"He is a gift. If I don't want it, then I won't make it born in this world."

Along with that, Nayaka came to pick up his wife. She greeted the doctor and nurse and thanked them for helping Delilah deliver.

"It's been a long time" muttered Delilah as the Doctor and the nurse were gone.

"I can come after hours of rest, honey. I also took care of his administration" said Nayaka.

"Yes, already. Come on, let's go home."

Delilah grabs Kyomi in her arms, while Nayaka carries a carry-on bag. The taxi Nayaka ordered was at the hospital door. It was cold as the two of them came out of the building. The driver immediately told Delilah to get in the car so that the baby would avoid the cold for too long.

"You were born in the winter, Kyomi," Delilah said.

"Although as soon as he stays asleep soundly," said Nayaka.

"You don't know what he did to me this morning."

"Is he fussy?" ask Nayaka.

Delilah nodded. "Yes, Kyomi is always thirsty."

"He wants to grow up, baby. That's why he's always hungry."

Arriving at the apartment, Delilah immediately changed Kyomi's clothes. Nayaka was preparing to return to the office after making sure the heating was on and food for Delilah was available.

"Darling, I'll stay first. I'll be home soon. Is there anything you need?" ask Nayaka.

"Milk formula and bottle. I need that. You haven't even bought it yet" Delilah said.

"I'll buy it and deliver it by bicycle courier."

Delilah was silent when Nayaka came out. Now he lives with Kyomi while thinking about his future. He has a son and has not graduated from college. Plus there's responsibility on his shoulders. The family company of his father and grandfather.

"It can't. I don't want to stay here" Delilah said.

Nayaka came home from the office. Thankfully, her boyfriend was not angry when he got to the apartment. It's just that Nayaka is shocked to find Kyomi crying, while Delilah is still in bed with her phone in hand.

"Honey, Kyomi is crying" said Nayaka.

"I've given her milk, but Kyomi is still crying."

A bottle next to Kyomi. Nayaka quickly grabbed the bottle because it fell out of her daughter's mouth and wet the clothes Kyomi was wearing.

"You can see that Kyomi can't drink it. You have to hold the bottle" said Nayaka.

Delilah looked at him sharply. "You dare scold me for this child. You want me to give birth to her, then take care of her."

"Sister, I'm hungry. You're buying no food?" delilah asked who suddenly followed into the TV room.

"I couldn't. I'm in a hurry."

Delilah grunts. He took Kyomi from Nayaka's hands. "You made me dinner. Let Kyomi be with me."

"Don't move too much, Del. You just got out of the hospital" Nayaka said.

"We have to find a nanny" Delilah said.

"It takes time to look for it."

Delilah did not respond to Nayaka's words. He already knew that his lover would always find his request difficult to obey. What is difficult if you have a lot of money? Delilah felt she had become a poor girl during her life with Nayaka.

Days pass. The thick snow began to melt and the sun shone brightly in the sky of Paris. Spring is coming and flowers are blooming soon. Kyomi's age has been a month. The nanny Delilah asked for did not come because Nayaka did not have time to look for her. To care for a child must be needed a woman who not only works, but loves her foster children.

It made Delilah's life feel like it was over. He does not go to school, he does not hang out with his friends. Have fun like he used to do. He stayed in the apartment. Being a mother with the baby she gave birth to.

"It can't. I don't want to be here. I have to go back to my previous life" Delilah said.

The afternoon when Nayaka came home, he was astonished to see the suitcase in the TV room. Delilah was also neat and was about to leave.

"Honey, where are you going?" ask Nayaka.

"We broke up!" delilah.

"What?" Nayaka surprise.

"I'm the daughter of a conglomerate. Living with you makes me feel like I'm in a world I don't recognize. This is not the real me. I realized I've been trapped all along. I gotta go home. Back to my world."

"What are you saying, Delilah?" ask Nayaka.

"This is a mistake. Being in a relationship with you was my fault!" shout Delilah. "Birth of a child is also my fault. I don't want to be in a world where my dreams are taken away!"

"Pacify yourself, Del. We've been together a long time and we've got Kyomi. He needs you, Del. You're his mother" said Nayaka.

Delilah shook her head. "She's not my daughter and up until then I won't admit if I ever gave birth. You can take him anywhere. Sell it or give it to anyone. What's clear in the future, don't ever tell me I'm his mother."

Nayaka grabbed Delilah's hand. "Darling, I'm sorry for letting you take care of Kyomi. I'll find a nanny and if I need to stop working. I'll take care of Kyomi, but please don't leave us."

Delilah let go of her hand. "We broke up! In the future, never show up in front of me. I'll assume you never existed."

"Don't do this, Del. I love you," said Nayaka.

"Don't force me!" delilah. "You owe me a lot. In return, stay away from my life. Let's just say we don't know each other."

Nayaka knelt at Delilah's feet. "Dear, please. We can talk about this all right."

Delilah pushed Nayaka's body until the man fell. At that moment Kyomi was crying because it was placed in the TV room.

"Don't get in my way!"

"Please, Delilah. Don't leave us" said Nayaka lirih.

"From now on, we have no relationship. Don't ever show up in front of me again. If you do, know the consequences yourself!"

Delilah pulled out the suitcase, then walked out of the apartment. Nayaka chased after him so that the lover would undo his intentions.

"Please, Delilah" said Nayaka.

"Don't get in my way! You're no longer my lover now."

Delilah stopped the taxi. He just got in when the vehicle stopped. Nayaka still begged him not to leave, but Delilah stayed on his decision.
