Look at me, Delilah

Look at me, Delilah
Resuming Relationships

"Angel, I'll get the driver to drive you" Nayaka said.

"He came alone, let him go home alone." Delilah interjected while folding her hands on her stomach.

Nayaka looked at him closely, then shook his head. "Let the driver drive Angel." Nayaka said softly.

Delilah snorted, then entered the house. As if, the residence was his. There was no awkwardness for the woman.

"Sorry Delilah, yes, Angel." Nayaka smiled as she said that.

"You said you broke up with her."

"Maybe in romance, yes. But actually our relationship is not like that, right? From the age of 10, we were together. Delilah everything to me."

"I think you guys are only suitable as sister brother. Realize, no, Nay, that Delilah was with you, like a child. She was spoiled, wanting to be noticed, even she seemed to be envious of her own daughter. I don't think you guys fit together."

Nayaka digested what Angel said. At least it was true what this woman in front of him said.

"You know for yourself, don't you, Delilah is like that. We were together a long time ago. He depends on me, and so do I."

"But, Nay." Angel interrupted. "You can stand to live with him. Are you going to keep giving up? Delilah will continue to think of you as weak, Nay. You were left with your daughter just because she wasn't ready to have a child."

"What do you mean, Angel?" finally, the question was raised as well. "Delilah got pregnant at 19. We did make a mistake. I should have been far away from him didn't do that. I always obeyed him. I don't want her to shed any more tears after what she's been through."

"That's why I told you. You fit in as brothers. I'm sorry, Nayaka. I didn't mean to interfere in your personal matters. I was just thinking about Kyomi. Poor him for having to compete with his own mother."

"Thank you, Angel. You always think of Kyomi."

"I like him. She's sweet and smart." Angel said it while smiling.

Nayaka returned that smile. Then he told the driver to drive Angel. After the car his best friend was riding away, Nayaka quickly entered the house. He still wants to ask for an explanation related to the pregnancy that Delilah said.

"Where's Kyomi?" nayaka Tegur.

Delilah lifted her gaze from the mobile phone. "Just like his nanny."

"We need to talk. Come with me."

Delilah got up from her seat. He followed where Nayaka's footsteps took him. Delilah just went into the room when the father of her daughter invited her.

Nayaka closed the door, then locked it. "Aren't you taking the Pill?"

"That doesn't guarantee. It could be, right, I'm pregnant right now."

"So, you're not pregnant?"

"I said I could" replied Delilah.

Nayaka massaged his forehead. "Del, what do you think I am, anyway?"

"You're the father of my daughter."

"Del, change your behavior a little." Nayaka asked as if this was like a last request. A way to save their relationship again.

"I'm sorry for demeaning you. I didn't mean that. Naturally, right, if as your future wife, I want our better life.

"I'm sorry too, brother. I accidentally said a rant to Kyomi. She is our daughter and I love her. Forgive all my mistakes."

At first Delilah might have said not to want to beg on Nayaka. However, in reality, he was very hurt when their relationship ended just like that.

It was enough to lose both of his parents. Delilah no longer wants to lose Kyomi or Nayaka.

"Come here" said Nayaka.

Delilah smiled. He immediately hugged Nayaka. Kan's! As hard as Nayaka was angry, Delilah was still able to make the man crumble. Nayaka to Delilah, and vice versa. They are one, and no one can separate them.

Delilah nodded, then re-hugged Nayaka. "We'll continue with the planned event."

"Yes, I'll tell Papa soon."

Now Delilah can prove that she can take care of herself without Reyhan's help. He has a rich husband now. For financial matters, it doesn't matter to Delilah at the moment.

Delilah decided to get married without a fancy party because she wanted a wedding reception in Dubai. Where his name and Nayaka will be listed in the tallest building in the world. Everyone will know the day of their wedding.

"Papa and I are going to visit your brother. You wanna come?"

"I say hello to him" said Delilah.

"Well, I still don't want any better."

"We'd better get married, brother. I don't want yesterday's incident repeated. I don't want to see him."

Nayaka grabbed Delilah's hand. "Yes, but you need to know."

"I don't want to come!" Delilah said firmly.

Nayaka. "All right, you don't have to come. Let me and Papa."

"We invite them to the wedding. I don't need Reyhan's approval."

"As far as you go, Del." Nayaka just recited Delilah's request.

A week later, the wedding actually happened. Without the presence of her brother, Reyhan. Only Anna, Diki and other relatives witnessed Delilah and Nayaka's marriage.

Delilah smiled as Nayaka smoothly uttered the kabul wedding ijab. When the witness had said "legitimate", and finally, Delilah officially became Lady Nayaka Malik Hawwas.

Nayaka pinned the wedding ring on Delilah's ring finger, then kissed his wife's forehead. Both of them smiled, visible from the look of their faces that were so filled with the twinkle of happiness.

The wedding was held at Nayaka's residence of course. They also invited the closest people, even the two wives of Omar did not attend. After marriage, Nayaka will bring all the family to Dubai. They will stay there and start a new life.

"Congratulations to you both. May your household always be blessed by the Almighty." Omar hugged Nayaka, then kissed his son's forehead, then changed to Delilah.

"Thank you, Papa," said Delilah and Nayaka in turn.

"Congratulations, dear," said Anna, as Delilah endured it.

"Thank you Anna."

"False, Brother Anna. Sorry for Delilah's attitude." Nayaka is not good because his wife is impressed.

"Nay, now you're the head of the family. You taught your wife. Don't lose to him if he's wrong. Don't play physical when you fight."

Nayaka nodded. "Yes, I'll try."

Anna looked at her sister-in-law. Delilah did not ask Reyhan for any news. The two of them did not want to give up at all.

"Come, Anna. Let's just go home. They are also married" said Diki. Even Diki followed coldly to Delilah.

Delilah just glanced at the departure of her relatives. "What, anyway, is my fault? Why are they so cold?"

"After this, we visited Reyhan's house. You have to apologize to her."

Delilah looked at her husband. "I didn't make a mistake at all. It's all because you were the beginning."

"Oh, don't talk about it again. It's our happy day, isn't it?" Nayaka said it while smiling.

"Right-natured brother. We should be happy."
