Kyomi exits the room while peeking at Delilah who leaves in annoyance. He was afraid when the woman snapped at him and felt that what she said was a mistake.
"Papa, why is he angry?" kyomi asked who hugged her father.
Nayaka exhales slowly, then takes Kyomi into her own room. He threw the child on the bed. Blanketing her then rubbed Kyomi's head gently.
"Mama's a little emotional, honey," said Nayaka.
"Why?" ask Kyomi. "Is Kyomi wrong?"
Nayaka shakes. "No, Honey. Kyomi just doesn't know. Grandpa and Grandma Kyomi died when mom was a teenager."
"That's why, she's mad at Kyomi?"
"Mama's not mad at you."
"He's mad at me" Kyomi said.
"Don't think. On Sunday, Papa will take her to the tomb. We look at grandparents and grandparents. Kyomi wants to, right?"
Kyomi nodded, then closed her eyes. Nayaka remained there until her son was completely asleep and then came out of the room after Kyomi could be left behind.
He sat down on the sofa, his head lowered, staring at the ceiling of the house. Now Nayaka does not know the continuation of this story. He allows Delilah to be with Kyomi, then what about the family of his ex-lover himself.
Then, Nayaka thought of Kyomi's unclear status in the eyes of the law. He had a father and a mother, but the two men were not married. From their actions, Kyomi is the one who suffers.
"Do I have to get married too?" mummified Nayaka.
If she could choose, Nayaka would want to marry the mother of her child. Delilah is the first love and woman who is always in his heart. For a long time the door of the heart was closed only to a name. Nayaka himself was reluctant to open it because he hoped that someday they could be together.
However, he was not sure he could compete with Juno, and Delilah would certainly choose a man who was worth it. Nayaka took a long breath. Women are the same, and he understands. There are women in this world who want to be difficult.
...****************...
Nayaka was not a dream at all. Early in the morning there was Delilah at the door. The woman walked in with a plastic bag filled with food.
"What did you bring?" ask Nayaka.
"I bring fruit and wheat bread" replied Delilah who brought the contents to the kitchen table.
"You brought your fridge?"
"I'll go shopping later. Oh, yeah, there's a waiter coming in. He'll pick up Kyomi and look after her. There's no need for an Angel here."
Nayaka folds her hands in her stomach. "Because of letting you come here, then you don't know the rules? You can only come in the afternoon when I get home from work."
"I know and I want to replace it. I visited on the day you decided. I'm not coming tonight, but let me stay here" Delilah said.
"I hold on to those words."
"I'll make breakfast."
"Oh, you don't have to bother to bring a waiter. Kyomi's been guarding" Nayaka said.
"You're putting it on Angel?" Delilah squeezed the plastic she was holding.
"There's a neighbor here who wants to pick up Kyomi's school and keep her until the afternoon. The place is not far and only two houses are different," said Nayaka.
"You want Kyomi to be taken care of by people who aren't necessarily good? My mother could give him more. He deserves the best."
"It's funny you, Delilah. Where was little Kyomi you? I had to stop working, sell on the streets to live it. I remind you once again. You're enough to make her feel a mother's affection. On other matters, you should not interfere" Nayaka explained.
Without both of them realizing, Kyomi heard it all. The more he hated Delilah who had left him all this time. Kyomi quickly enters the room when Nayaka starts to walk out of the kitchen.
"Kyomi, are you dressed?" nayaka asked by knocking on the door.
"Papa can come in" he said.
Nayaka pressed the handle of the key, then walked in. Kyomi is already dressed and combing her hair, but Nayaka does not like her tattoos.
"You have to tie your hair" said Nayaka.
"No! Kyomi wants to be like this."
"But it hurts to get a helmet" said Kyomi.
"Then we make a horse braid."
Kyomi pouted because she had to obey her father's wishes. He resigned when Nayaka began to comb back his long hair.
"Then Kyomi becomes very beautiful" said Nayaka. "Come, we have breakfast together. Mama's coming too."
Kyomi does not acknowledge Nayaka's words, but he follows his father's footsteps. The menu is not special. Only bread baked with butter with sausage mix. However, making a big difference is the bread and sausages served differently than the ones Nayaka used to make. Whole wheat bread and sausage meat of the rich.
"Kyomi doesn't want to eat this. Ordinary bread," he said.
"It is not good to refuse sustenance. Come, eat. Mama's tired of making it for you" Nayaka said.
"Why does Papa always defend him?" Kyomi said in French.
"Papa just said not to refuse sustenance. Eat it and you won't get it again later" Nayaka said.
Kyomi looked at Delilah. "You better just die."
"Kyeomi!" nayaka snapped at the table.
Delilah was surprised because she did not understand what Kyomi and Nayaka said.
"Papa's gonna confiscate your cell phone."
"It's all because of you" Kyomi told Delilah.
"Eat, Honey. It's not good to fight in front of food" Nayaka said.
"Mama prepare provisions for you, dear," said Delilah, then put a hundred thousand dollars on a bag of food.
"You bribed me?" kyomi said in Indonesian.
"This is your pocket money."
Kyomi just threw away the food and money. Nayaka massaged her forehead which suddenly throbbed. Facing two women whose behavior is exactly the same.
"Hurry up and finish your breakfast, Kyomi," said Nayaka. "You Delilah, clean up the mess you made."
"Sister, you don't ...."
Nayaka looked at him, and Delilah immediately obeyed the order. It is very difficult to persuade a six-year-old. Kids will love it when they are given money.
"Enak, no?" ask Nayaka.
"Enak. The bread and sausages are delicious" Kyomi said.
Nayaka smile. Because after all, Kyomi is just a kid who happens to be so smart.
"I'm sorry Papa yelled at you. Next time you can't talk like that."
Kyomi. "okay ...."
"I'm sorry to Mama" said Nayaka.
Kyomi woke up from her seat. "I'm sorry."
Delilah smiled. "It's okay, honey. Mama's gonna get you some new food."
Kyomi did not answer, he immediately ran forward and Delilah prepared another lunch for the child.
"You looked angry. What did Kyomi say?" ask Delilah.
"He swore you dead" answered Nayaka.
Delilah surprised. "You didn't teach your son, brother."
"Don't protest at me. I taught him the best. You think Kyomi's a fool who can't absorb words from adults or around."
