After the event, the family discussed the wedding date. Both sides agreed to hold the sacred event four months later. Of course there is a lot of preparation to be done. Both families are equally distinguished. There must be many colleagues who must be present at the wedding.
"We go together" Juno said.
"Tonight I can't. You don't see my brother watching me?" delilah.
Juno looked at Reyhan, he smiled and became misbehaved. "OKAY. We'll hold off until tomorrow. You're gonna stay at your house, right?"
Delilah nodded. "Yes, only during the event will I stay here."
"The date of our marriage has been set. I can't wait to see it."
"So am I."
"How about we go to the back garden?" Juno smiled smirked.
Delilah pinched the belly of the lover. "Don't be naughty. Keep your attitude."
The groom's family shook hands and hugged each other to the Delilah family. The show is over, the night is late. It's time for them to go back home.
"Oh, I have to go home," Juno said.
"Call me when you get there" said Delilah.
Juno landed a kiss on the forehead. "of course. I can't sleep without hearing your voice."
Delilah hugged her lover. "So am I."
Both are mixed with family. Say congratulations to each other, then say goodbye to the bride and groom. Delilah waved to Juno until her fiance got in the car and passed.
"Congratulations, my dear sister" said Reyhan.
"Thank you, Papa," Delilah joked.
"I'm your brother."
"It's like being papa."
"Congratulations Delilah" said Ayyana and Anthea. The twins Anna and Reyhan.
"Thank you, my dear," Delilah replied.
Ayyana and Anthea moved away when Delilah wanted to hug her. "Don't act like our aunt."
Delilah laughs. "Both my brothers."
"Congratulations to you, Del," said Kiano.
"thank you. After this it's your turn. When are you gonna propose to your girlfriend?"
"I'll get married after the twin girls get married of course" replied Kiano.
Reyhan and Anna smiled at the familiarity of her sister and children. It doesn't feel like all four are adults.
"Now just wait for our grandchildren again" Reyhan said.
"I can't wait for that" said Anna.
Nayaka returns to the hotel after missing dinner. He felt guilty especially seeing Kyomi's pouting face. Packs of wheat bread and mineral bottles were strewn on the floor.
"Papa brought you some food. Clean up the mess you made. Girls should always be neat" Nayaka said.
"Papa said that eating late can make the stomach hurt. Kyomi is starving and only eats leftovers from the trip."
"But Kyomi can still eat, right?" ask Nayaka.
The little girl nodded. "Yes, the bread is quite filling."
"Thank God there's food coming into your stomach, Kyomi. Don't complain."
Kyomi lowered her head then cleaned up the dirty marble floor. With his little hands, he picked up breadcrumbs and bottles of mineral water.
"We stay in hotels, but don't get dirty. They can tell us to replace it if there is a stain attached. Must know ourselves where we are even though this room we have rented," said Nayaka.
"Promise never to do it again."
"Kyomi always promised, but never kept it" Nayaka said.
"Sorry, Papa. Kyomi was wrong," she regretted.
Nayaka smiled then spread out her hands. Kyomi runs to hug her father. It's been this big, but Kyomi is independent. Since living in Paris, he was used to being left alone by Nayaka.
"Papa breaks the promise. He said he wanted to take Kyomi for a walk."
"Papa went to see the house after that looking for the school closest to you."
"Kyomi has prepared summer clothes here. We have to make chocolate as an introductory gift" Kyomi said.
Nayaka could not hold back his laughter. Kyomi assumes her new school will be the same as the old school when the little girl is in Paris.
"For chocolate we'll make it. But here you can't wear your summer clothes. The school here is wearing uniforms" Nayaka said.
Kyomi looked at her father confused, and then a moment later she said, "Okay, I think that's good."
"Now eat first. Papa also has to prepare the file for work."
Nayaka gives rice box to Kyomi. For food, his daughter's tongue is accustomed to Indonesian specialties. Kyomi can eat rice with a fatty sauce even though the child prefers processed bread.
Nayaka took her laptop, opened the incoming email and read it. The email was received before they returned home. Nayaka sent out a few cover letters before he came back. One of them he got an offer as a staff in the marketing division of the company Delano Jewerly.
"Tomorrow, Kyomi lives alone with nothing, right?" ask Nayaka.
"Why go without Kyomi?"
"Papa must clean up the rental house before we settle. There will also be a job interview tomorrow. Soon Papa will be back. For tomorrow, you can use your phone."
Kyomi's face turned bright hearing Nayaka's words. "Papa just go. Kyomi's gonna be a good boy."
"Basic children. Hearing cell phones is so excited."
