When he returned to his parents' house, Delilah was barred from entering by Reyhan's men. Huh huh? Since when did the man in a neat suit come to the entrance of his residence.
"Surge!" delilah's orders. "This is my house, why are you in the way?"
"Sorry, Miss. You can't go in."
"This is my house!" Delilah spoke out loud.
"This is Mr. Reyhan's parents' house. You can't go in, except to pick up the goods" one of Reyhan's men said.
Delilah clenched her hands. "Let me in. I need to take all my stuff."
Delilah grumbling. His parents' residence is still above Reyhan's power, even though he is now 27 years old. He was able to master all the treasures left behind by his late parents and grandfather.
The man opened the door and let Delilah in. "It's only 30 minutes, miss."
Delilah fell silent, and she continued her steps inside. "Sir Reyhan really wants me out of his family. Okay, I'll prove, without him, I can live."
Arriving at the storage room, Delilah drained the jewelry of Dila's relics, and hers. Diamonds left by her mother and luxury items belonging to Bastian and Dion, she put in a bag.
"Sorry, Miss."
Delilah gasped for a reprimand from Reyhan's man. The door of the room was indeed not tightly closed, and the flap-haired man could enter.
"What else is it?" Delilah looked angry.
"I forgot to give a message. Only your things can be taken. The property of Mr. Reyhan's parents and friends, must not be taken."
"What?" Delilah. "It's mine!"
"Just bring your grandfather's property with you."
Delilah folded her lips, then nodded. "Okay, take it all." He threw the bag with the jewelry.
"You have to put it back where it belongs. Don't forget the credit card from Mr. Reyhan. You have to give it back."
"I'll give it back. Get out of here."
The man smiled, then passed from before Delilah. It doesn't matter if the diamond can't be carried. Delilah still has jewelry that she buys from her labor money.
The bill that Reyhan pays every month, Delilah returns to her brother's mane. He came out with the things he bought with his own money.
Delilah went back to the apartment. The building he bought with his money. Reyhan could not drive him out of his own residence.
Arriving at the apartment, Delilah still does not accept Nayaka's decision. He called his ex-girlfriend, demanding accountability from Nayaka.
"What else is it?" nayaka's voice sounded so cold.
"You can't treat me like this. You separated me from Kyomi." Delilah was so excited to say it.
"Is it not clear what I said?"
"We need to talk again. Don't forget that I'm his mother. I gave birth to her. You can't separate Kyomi from her mother."
"okay!" Nayaka answered. "For Kyomi's sake, we should talk."
Delilah could breathe a sigh of relief hearing it. "I'm waiting at the apartment right now."
Nayaka did not answer, he immediately disconnected the phone. Delilah was sure that Nayaka was still angry with him, and if he wooed a little, surely the man would return to submission.
About 45 minutes, Delilah could hear a knock on the door of the apartment that opened because she did not change the password at all from the key.
"Sister!" Delilah exclaimed as Nayaka stepped into the house. He hugged the man he loved so much. "That was a lie, right? You can't possibly want to be separated from me."
Nayaka took off Delilah's embrace. "I mean it, Del."
"It's real."
"I'm the mother of your son, brother."
"I'll let you see Kyomi. Like you said, you're her mother" Nayaka said.
"I want us to get married, brother. Isn't this our dream from long ago?"
"I can't marry you. What do I have to explain it to you, Del." Nayaka was almost desperate. "I need a woman who can be water when I'm angry. I need a mother for my son. I need someone who values me."
"You think I'm not. I accept you when you're poor. I even gave up my body to a man like you."
Nayaka shakes. "You're selfish. I've given up enough all this time. I don't want us to have any more romance."
"We love each other, Nayaka," said Delilah.
"Life isn't just about love, Del. Think mature. I love you, but we can't live together."
"We've lived together for a long time. Over in England, and here. We are living as husband and wife." Delilah tightened her voice.
"I know!" Nayaka was not losing out. "Try thinking. Did you ever, during your life together, treat me like a man? You made me a slave, Del."
Delilah fell silent, and then she looked at Nayaka. "So you want revenge for what I did in the past."
"Your mind is too narrow. Do you know the reason why I wanted so badly to get away from you? You cursed my son! You never thought of Kyomi as a part of you. You're not a good mother to my son. You're not worthy of being with me!"
"I've tried." Delilah defended herself.
"Yes, you always say things like that. But what proof? You let your son starve, and you cursed him after that."
"I didn't say that intentionally."
"We can't be together, Del. Our relationship will be like this again. There will only be a quarrel between us."
"You want to leave me too?" delilah's eyes began to glaze over.
Nayaka turned his face away. A second later he looked at his ex-lover. "I'm taking Kyomi to Dubai. You can meet him. But I won't let you take him."
"I'll take it from you. She's mine, Nayaka!"
"Try it if you can." Nayaka flipped over, she stepped up to grab the door handle. But before that, Nayaka looked back. "Sorry, Delilah."
"You'll regret letting me go" Delilah said.
"I've accepted you before with another man. This time it's the same. You deserve to be happy with whoever you want."
Nayaka came out after saying that. Delilah did not budge at all from her place. Begging for love with Nayaka? He would never do. That man should bow to him.
"Young Master." Fahmi.
"I told Delilah I was moving to Dubai."
"You sure?"
Nayaka looked at Fahmi, then he nodded. "Previously Kyomi and I were normal without him. This time it is."
"We will be returning to Dubai soon" Fahmi said.
Nayaka turned his head once again at the apartment building that Delilah occupied. She loves him the most, but marriage is not about love.
This was not a matter of possessions alone, but of how Delilah accepted him as a companion. Nayaka was convinced that if he married Delilah, there was only a quarrel between them.
