Look at me, Delilah

Look at me, Delilah
Shocked

"The company center is in Dubai. Since you've decided to take it all, then we should stay there."

Nayaka understood the words that came from Omar's mouth. Taking all means, leaving behind all the memories in Indonesia. Childhood, memories with his mother, then Delilah. Although the memories were more traumatic, but Nayaka had felt the sweetness of his parents' affection.

"How's your wedding planning? Papa will come to propose to you."

"Don't discuss. Soon Mr. Reyhan will come looking for me" Nayaka said.

Omar saw Fahmi, but his assistant just shook his head. Omar was happy his son was willing to come back and said he would take over the company. However, something hurt his son's feelings, and Omar was convinced Nayaka had a problem with his future wife.

"Alright, Papa wants to meet him too. To pay for all the help he has given you."

"You should have done that a long time ago." Nayaka got up from her seat, then walked away.

"Nayaka!" Omar reprimands.

Nayaka stopped, then looked. "You haven't left anything since you separated from my mother. You took everything from us, until I was always considered a beggar. I can't fight those who insult me because I realize that a poor man like myself won't be able to fight a rich man's son."

"You're a kid to know everything, Nayaka."

"All I know is you're a man who likes to torture my mother."

"You don't know anything, son." Omar defended himself. "There's a reason I did that."

"The reason is that you like to play women. Your company's bankrupt, and all that trouble you're venting on my mom."

"Nayaka!" reprimand Omar.

"That's it, I don't want to talk about it." Nayaka quickly passed after saying that.

Omar sat on the sofa. "I was guilty, but I did it because Nilam did not accept my bankruptcy. He does not support me, and always demands. When he escaped with Dion's help, I couldn't do anything about it. I left behind all the memories in Indonesia, and returned to Dubai."

"The past cannot be changed, sir. Better to repair a relationship that has been strained. The Young Master is back and he is ready to accept this responsibility." Fahmi tries to calm Omar down with soothing words.

"What happened to Nayaka and Delilah? Did they fight?" ask Omar.

"Perhaps, Sir. Because of that time, Kyomi was almost wretched for running down the highway."

Omar shook his head. "I don't want to interfere in his affairs. But pity Kyomi. He's a gift, also a sin from both his parents."

Fahmi didn't know what to say. It is Kyomi here who is pitying. Fahmi tried to divert the conversation. "Young Master said, Mr. Reyhan will definitely come. Are we preparing a welcome?"

Omar nodded. "Maybe talk about Nayaka and Delilah's relationship. We'll be ready if the wedding takes place all of a sudden."

Fahmi. "Yes, Sir. It's Young Master's wedding. Must be held royally."

"Yes, you're right. Nayaka has to show her who she really is." Omar laughed as he said it.

If only the two men knew what was going on between Nayaka and Delilah. Of course the delusion about a fancy wedding will just fade away.

...****************...

"Rey, I've been investigating Nayaka" said Diki as he pushed the red map.

"I also know who Nayaka is. His mother's name is Nilam. His father doesn't know where." Reyhan replied, as if he had met the figure of Omar.

"You know what his father's name is?"

Reyhan seemed to think. "Who, huh? Kan, Dion's dealing with them. I do know. Anyway I told you to look for Nayaka. You know, right, Delilah's crazy about that guy."

"Either that. All this time we knew Nayaka as Dion's foster son. His father still has Rey. Omar Malik Hawwas, a Dubai real estate entrepreneur. Nayaka is probably at his house. You can call him to find your son-in-law's candidate."

Diki clucked. "They're here. The Hawass apartment in South Jakarta is theirs, Rey."

"Why not say?"

The knock on the door blocked Diki who wanted to answer how weak Reyhan's aging mind was. Delilah suddenly appeared.

"Sir, Nayaka's been found?"

"You don't know your girlfriend? He's probably at his parents' house." Reyhan.

"Nayaka's parents are gone. His mother's gone and his father abandoned him."

Reyhan and Diki looked at each other. Confused, even more astonished because Delilah did not know anything about who the man she loved was.

"What's the matter until Nayaka runs away from you?" Reyhan got up from his seat. He walked over to the brother who was nervous at this moment.

"He hit me, brother," replied Delilah.

"Related, Del. If Nayaka loves you, she must be sorry for the mistake she made. Not running like this. Nayaka can't possibly be afraid of you, right?"

"I told him to work for the company, but he refused. We had a fight, and he hit me" Delilah said.

Reyhan raised his eyebrows. "Nayaka run. You must know where he is, right? He's not far from his parents."

"Sister, Nayaka only has me." Delilah was still in the answer.

"You don't know that Nayaka's father is here. Nayaka also owns a Real Estate company."

"What?" Delilah was shocked to hear that. "He never told me."

"You go out first. Let Brother take care of it."

"Wait, Brother. What does Brother mean? Nayaka has a company?"

"He is the son of businessman Omar Malik Hawwas. You know Hawwas' elite apartment, right? It's theirs."

Delilah. "What?!"

"You get out first." Reyhan pushed Delilah slowly out of the study. Then shut and lock the door. Reyhan looked at Diki. "I think the problem is a little difficult. I'm sure Delilah has made trouble."

"Nayaka went with Kyomi. Did they break up?" ask Diki.

"Maybe."

"You should get them married soon, Rey. No matter if there is a party or not. Should have married that time."

"Why do you blame me? I intended to marry them off, but Nayaka and Delilah chose to finish their work first. I'll demand Nayaka marry Delilah." Reyhan.

"It's a little hard, Rey. The problem is that Nayaka is not irresponsible. But, Delilah had originally left her lover."

"No matter what it is. Nayaka should marry Delilah" Reyhan said.

"I don't know. Delilah is hard to arrange. Try to teach him a lesson once in a while. The boy's been too spoiled."

"What?" Reyhan gasped at hearing that. "So long ago who'd protested that I was going to educate Delilah a little hard. You said this is what it is. You're the same as Om Bastian. You've always treated Delilah specifically just because she didn't have parents."

"This time will not. We'll meet Nayaka soon. Wedding's in a minute. It could be embarrassing, Rey, your family if the marriage is off again" Diki said.
