What seems evil is not necessarily evil. Good is not necessarily good either. Masks can be deceiving.
......
The atmosphere of the dining room in the Brown residence was so tense as the head of the family sat at the end of the table, eating his food with a flat look. His aura drugged Kinan's entire body until his hands felt stiff just lifting his spoon, coming closer to his mouth.
A plate of rice and side dishes that Kinan could look at in addition to facing the front where Nathan was and to his right where Brown ate quietly.
This morning was a tense morning all week more Brown did not set foot in the house. It was precisely today that the middle-aged man came back to accompany his breakfast.
Suddenly Brown got up, pushing his chair after wiping his mouth with the tissue available on the table. During that time Kinan held his breath as Brown began to make his heavy voice. A terrifying sound as the anger within his body exploded. Many times also Kinan became his easy target. The outburst of his wrath.
"My American client will visit my club tonight. For you Kinan, do not be late or you know for yourself what the consequences are. And you Nathan, take good care of the company. Leave a moment of your profession as a lecturer for the next week," Brown said firmly as it passed, not forgetting his briefcase.
Leaving Kinan who was exhaling a sigh of relief. While Nathan remained silent with a straight look, looking at Kinan. His chest suddenly rumbled violently imagining that sweet face smiling because of another man. There was a sense of unwillingness to gnaw some of his heart space. Until now, the feeling continues to suck his mind until Nathan feels his head will break if he does not immediately stop thinking about it.
"Where were you last night? Why are you late to go home? Didn't you take a leave of absence at the club?" Nathan couldn't bear to not ask Kinan.
"It's none of your business" Kinan replied as if without looking at him at all. Since the incident in the cafeteria yesterday the day after, Kinan has somewhat kept his distance from Nathan. Kinan was angry at the man. It will be an attitude that shows that Nathan does not like to see his closeness with Agra.
The sound of the plate rubbing against the spoon, clanking loudly, Nathan threw it on the side of the plate. The manicure highlighted Kinan full of emotions.
"Of course it's my business. You're my responsibility, Kinan, if you forget!"
Kinan hissed and raised his head, looking at Nathan for a paltry glance, "If you forget too, I am Mr.'s responsibility. Brown, not you."
Nathan let out a tired sigh, "Why have you been so cold to me lately? Was it your boyfriend who taught you to fight me and fight me?"
On his thighs, Kinan's two hands were tightly clenched. Kinan could not figure out why Nathan hated Agra so much. Kinan could guess just from the sentence Nathan had said just now. Nathan had never known Agra and Agra did not know Nathan. So, why does Nathan seem to hate Agra?
"Did Agra ever make a mistake with you? Why do you look like him?" kinan said flatly, "Remember, I am this way because of whom. Of course it's because of you, Nathan. Your attitude is like someone burning with jealous flames."
"Yes, I'm jealous."
Nathan's response stopped Kinan from pouring water into his glass. Kinan turned to look at Nathan with a surprised look. Didn't Kinan hear wrong? Why does Nathan have to be jealous?
"I don't understand what you're saying."
"I love you. As a man to his woman. Not brother. L like you. I'm in love with you. Is it clear?" Nathan was honest after so long. For him, now was the right time to reveal it. If Nathan passes just a little, Nathan makes sure Kinan is out of his grasp.
Kinan's eyes opened wide, his lips tightly clenched. His blood flow seemed to stop flowing capturing the sentence after sentence that was thrown from him. Kinan half believed.
"Cannot be. You joke. Please answer Nathan seriously. I'm playing games again. You've been increasing my time on campus."
Nathan laughed wryly, "What am I kidding in front of you for? You know very well that I'm Kinan if I'm always serious about you. I've liked you since you first became part of my family."
"You lied," Kinan seemed to not believe it. The stark explanation Nathan detailed made him dizzy, "How could you possibly fall in love with your own sister?"
"Please take your word and I assume you never said it. I'll go first."
......
"You got a problem?" Agra asked Kinan when the car he was driving stopped at the campus parking lot. They did not come out immediately but rather sat quietly in the car with a gaze pointing to the shady trees in the front expanse.
"Hey," Agra grabbed and clasped Kinan's one hand over his thigh, "You daydreaming?"
Kinan flinched while closing his eyes. He looked to the side, "Huh? Why Agra?"
Agra sighed, "You're different today. I don't usually babble to make me want to pinch your cheek."
"I'm doing fine. Just no longer healthy," said Kinan smiling thinly, "You're worried about me seeing me continue?"
Agra nodded, "Yes. If anyone disturbs your mind, the story here is the same as mine. Who knows, I can give you a solution" he offered to be a good listener.
As long as Agra knew Kinan, only this time the sweet woman was more at home silent than to make him dizzy. Agra felt that there was something Kinan was hiding from her. Guessing isn't Agra's forte. Maybe Kinan needs some time to himself.
"Thank you, Agra is worried about me" Kinan said sincerely.
Agra nodded and smiled gently, "Beloved together. Yauda let's get out. I'll drop you to your front of the class."
Before pulling the door handle, Agra raises the car glass on the right side that opens a little after that Agra intends to get out, but the edge of his clothes is pulled slowly by Kinan. Kinan put on an unpleasant face. Kinan was happy that Agra had taken the initiative to accompany him without being asked, but it seemed that he had to refuse.
"You go straight to class, I want to meet someone first."
His brows were linked, Agra noticed Kinan who was nervous as he twisted his fingers. Right, there must be something Kinan is hiding, "Who?" Agra got back in the car and shut the door.
"Cakra" Chinan's great-grandson with his head bowed. She was actually afraid of Agra getting angry.
"Do you want to find him?" agra's voice turned cold. Guts Kinan shriveling. This is what Kinan avoided the most, Agra's change to him.
"There's something important I want to take with me to Cakra. Just for a moment, not for long."
"Don't see Cakra. I strictly forbid you near him. The chakras are evil. Don't have to make friends with him if you don't want yourself to be okay," Agra warned. Because the events that happened with Ana a few years ago, haunt his mind. He did not want Kinan to feel the depravity that Cakra did.
Kinan looked at Agra in disbelief. As Kinan knew, Cakra was good. His helper angel. It's always there in times of distress because of Agra. Always thrust his shoulders willingly to tear down his defensive wall to make it feel lighter. Cakra has a lot to do with his life. Agra doesn't know that.
"Cakra is not what you say, Gra. When I am sad because of you, he is there for me. I think of him as my own brother. Why are you trying this? If you're jealous of Cakra, talk to me. But don't accuse him of non-judgment. I don't like it" Kinan threw his face the other way. Honestly, Kinan was disappointed to hear that. Agra could have said it was beyond expectations.
Agra's jaw hardened, he gripped the steering forcefully until the veins in his hand were visible. His anger culminates knowing that Kinan is more in favor of Cakra than he is.
"She has killed Ana. My girlfriend first. And with bangs*tnya he did not want to be responsible and then leave Ana so with the baby in the womb. So, what's wrong if I say he's evil? Do you want to have the same fate as Ana? I'm good Kinan, ngingetin you. But it's up to you to believe anything. I will not mean you" explained Agra at length.
Kinan's bead rounded hearing Agra's narration. What is the Sebrengs*k chakra? Between believing in disbelief, Kinan was stunned for a few seconds and disbanded Agra.
"So I asked you to stay away from him. You love me, don't you? Then that's for me."
Believe me, Kinan was worried between having to stay away or not.
