....
I really feel alive again after so long dead.
Yes, this heart and body.
......
Nathan hit his desk as hard as he could with his fist. His breathing was hunting irregularly. The emotions he had been harboring since dropping down next to Kinan, evaporated as he got to his room. Fortunately the room was soundproof until the act just not to be heard out.
"I'm not going to let Kinan fall that easily! All this time I was like a coward, hiding from my true feelings. And now, I will blatantly point out that I am the one who will oppose their relationship at the very front!" Nathan muttered firmly. Her shoulders were up and down a sign she was still affected by emotions. Even his jaw continued to tighten with flared eyes.
It takes a few minutes to restore his condition as usual, then his breathing returns to normal. So Nathan went around the side of the table, grabbed a book with a black cover, put it in his briefcase and then moved from there.
Along his feet treading every tiled child in the corridor to the parking lot, Nathan occasionally throws a faint smile at some of his students who happen to cross paths with him. Very thin because deep in his heart, Nathan still holds a fierce anger. Enraged by his chatter with Agra, Kinan's lover whom Nathan saw was brave enough to stand up to him. Unknowingly the two have become hostile. Competing for each other earned Kinan's heart. It's just that Nathan doesn't know that Kinan's heart is entirely for Agra. Especially for a cold-hearted person named Agra.
"Where's the car key?" Nathan was drunk when he did not find the small iron object when his right hand reached into his tote bag.
"The feeling this morning I put inside. How can there be no yes," Nathan positioned his bag on the seat of his motorbike so he could freely look for it. Nil. The key is not found at all. Nathan tried to recall where he put it. Still, his biggest memory was in his bag. Nathan couldn't have forgotten. So, why doesn't that exist? Can't be taken by people?
"This mister nyari?" a soft voice from behind his back, moved his body to twist, seeing who was there.
Nathan frowned, his gaze fixed on Adira who was thrusting something towards him. As a result of his inertia, Adira again interrupted.
"Sir Nathan, is this Father's? You're looking for this key, right?"
Grazing sluggishly, Nathan nodded slowly not forgetting the small smile, "Yes, mine. How can it be on you?" tanyanya.
"I saw him fall out of my bag. Coincidentally when I passed by, I took. I called, but you disappeared from my sight. Earlier when I saw Mr here from the second floor, I hurried down to return the item," said Adira politely.
Nathan was bearded, his smile still puffed up on his handsome face, "If that's so thank you, Adira. Thanks to you I can go home immediately," he chuckled.
Not knowing that the response was successful in vomiting Adira's feelings. Adira's heart pumps fast. His heart warmed with laughter. Adira termangu. The flowers of love grew more and more lush in his heart. Do not deny the charm that Nathan has, able to attract his attention. Ever since Nathan taught, Adira has fallen in love at first sight.
"Together Sir," Adira nodded and half-bent, being polite, "If so I say yes sir."
"Would you like to go home?" Nathan asked Adira with a nod of his head.
"Yes sir,"
"Temenin me lunch, will you? I just happen to want to eat sushi. The times you haven't eaten. All together with me," suddenly Nathan took Adira away with him, filling the emptiness of his stomach that had been thrashing to be filled. In the cafeteria earlier, his appetite suddenly disappeared seeing Kinan alone with his lover. One side as a form of gratitude for Adira because if only Adira was not the inventor of the car keys, maybe the car had been transported by people.
Adira who was still not reasonable, asked to make sure, "Father ngajak me?"
"Yes. You want?"
"You're so excited sir," without a doubt, Adira replied enthusiastically.
"Yauda come on," Nathan took the first step into the car.
Leaving Adira outside in exactly the same state as a madman, smiling to herself with a flowery mood.
......
Sushi restaurant is Nathan's choice to eat his lunch with Adira. They both chose a place in the open room. On the second floor right on the edge of the guardrail. From the table they can see the surrounding scenery facilitated by the green park in the front of the restaurant before reaching the main door.
Under the table, Adira tried to hold her fingers due to nervous attack. Her little hands were shaking. Dealing with handsome humans who are even more men that Adira likes is different. It feels good, groggy, embarrassed, so one. Nathan really weakens him.
"Do you like sushi?" spontaneous questions from Nathan, surprised Adira who was silent with a branched mind.
Adira looked at Nathan and nodded, "Like, sir."
The handsome guy chuckled again. I don't know what he laughed at. Feeling obscene, Adira pursed her lips, puffed up, "Father ngetawain me?"
"No. It's just that you look funny if you're so tense. Relax Adira. I opened a mafia you should be afraid of. Your face water is clear. I can guess it with a single glance," Nathan made clear the reason.
The second time Adira was silent, silent because it permeated the words of Nathan who said he was funny.
Nathan really called it funny? Adira didn't hear wrong, did she?
Pressing her lips so that her smile did not expand, Adira cleared her throat softly, "Whatever Mr. Nathan is my lecturer at the campus. I'm a little tense like this."
"Do you feel comfortable speaking formally in front of me?"
Long enough no response, a second later Adira slowly nodded her head up and down with a broken motion, hesitating, "In fact, a little uncomfortable, sir."
Nathan looked at Adira. His chin rests on his hands on the table. He knows exactly what Adira is feeling right now. Full of anxiety and nervousness.
"Then call me Nathan. No frills when outside the campus area. The talk is also informal. I don't eat people if that's what you're afraid of" Nathan tried to melt the tension created. Of course Nathan is also uncomfortable if it is too formal in talking. But whose name is working as a lecturer and become a director, inevitably Nathan must use good and right language.
"I think it's too much and it's out of bounds, sir," Adira said.
Although Adira himself was faced with a dilemma the next second he still nodded slowly, "Alright, Nathan," he said very carefully.
Oh come on, the man in front of him is a lecturer as well as a man that Adira likes. Calling his name without frills 'Father' is a bit presumptuous. Maybe if you keep calling it, Adira is not gagu anymore and accustomed.
"That's good. Now let's go eat," Nathan put a plate of sushi and orange juice in front of Adira, who the waiter had just delivered to their table. Had to reject each other because Adira should have prepared it, "It's okay is just mesan sushi? Or do you want to order some other food? Order aja. Let me buy it."
Adira shook her head, refusing, "No need, Nat. This is enough."
"Yes, spend it then" Nathan smiled.
As long as they spent their meals each accompanied by a slow song played by the restaurant, as long as they did not open a chat. Adira understands the custom of eating should not while talking. He also sped up the pace of his eating so he could spend time communicating with each other and exchanging ideas with Nathan. Nathan is a grown-up. One of the reasons why Adira likes him so much. When he noticed Nathan putting a fork on the side of the plate, Adira asked a core question.
"You haven't thought about getting married yet, Nat?" Adira knows she is in too much of a hurry, but how else, Adira dies of curiosity.
"Not yet and for long. I want to succeed first to become a famous businessman. Only then began to think about the future," Nathan said clearly.
Start thinking about the future?
Adira pinched the lower lip with her teeth. Nervous and scared. Dag dig dug's heart. The last words Nathan spoke disturbed his mind. Does Nathan have a girlfriend? Adira is getting preoccupied about the man's romance story.
"Have you met the candidate?" tanyanya braced herself hearing Nathan's answer. Between two possibilities, already or not.
"Have you met yourself?" both of his shoulders fell. Nathan asked the same question. Adira looks at Nathan with a full search. Nathan was dodging and hiding something. Knowing enough to not pry for more information, Adira again shook her head.
"Why?"
His breathing was stifled, Adira looked at Nathan while smiling bitterly, "Because I'm waiting for someone's love."
As if there was a big stone about right in his heart, Nathan just moved from his seat, taking him home without saying anything more. Her smile is so sad. Her chest is amazing.
Nathan should have been curious and asked again. Nathan should have heard his next words. Nathan should have stayed seated in front of him, staring at him while carving rays at both corners of his lips. Nathan shouldn't have taken her away.
Adira should be self-aware, whatever she wants it feels free because until whenever Nathan still pretends as if he does not know anything about his feelings.
......
The breeze stroked their faces until Kinan's long unraveling hair flew in the direction of the exposure. Kinan inhaled the scent of the beach deeply while closing his black iris. Both hands he stretched wide as if he was free from the burdens of life that faithfully settled, reluctant to leave since time immemorial.
Dusk began to manifest itself through the gradation painting on the expanse of the sky. The color is bright and soothing, able to enchant the admirers who dwell under it. Kinan opened his eyes, looking at the astonishment of the twilight. It's beautiful from everything in this world.
Kinan carved out a small smile as the roll of waves swept his bare feet which he left exposed to water. Kinan stood on the beach side, waiting for the sunset seconds to arrive. It will be much more beautiful.
Everything he did, both expression and other simple things, did not escape Agra's sight. Agra observed the woman beside him quietly. The object is just that since they stand on this beach. His focus stopped right on his sweet face. A face that always smiles gently despite being hurt many times. The face he once let tear from his actions.
"Look Agra, the sun is about to sink," Kinan was so enthusiastic.
"That's great," he added again.
Agra chose silence. Watching the sunset show in front of him. Occasionally his manic caught the figure of Kinan who just kept smiling happily beside him.
Kinan was that simple. Agra began to fully believe. It's not wrong that he brought Kinan here.
"It's even more beautiful that someone I hug," Agra hugged Kinan from behind. Letting that little back lean on his chest. Kinan had tensed up and slowly strayed his body. His smile expanded rapidly. There was a sense of happiness that Kinan could not describe through words. His heart felt that.
"You're the most interesting object I've ever met. I only realized after I hurt you and tried to change."
Kinan was closing his body. He rested his head on the chest of Agra's field. Seeking comfort she had never gotten from the man. For a moment, he closed back his black iris. Enjoying every second, every gust of wind, every gust of breath, was on Agra's side. His heart rippled whenever the lips behind him, gently dipping his hair. Kinan embraced Agra's arms around her stomach. Clutching her tightly as if tomorrow or the days that followed Agra went away with the sense that bound her. Bind it mercilessly.
"Related always comes at the end of the story. But for me, you regret it at the right time because this is not the end of our love story. Even our story is long and I want every time I've been with you."
The weather this afternoon warmed up. Just as warm as Agra's decapitation was getting hardened in his body.
"In the future, what do you expect from our relationship?" Agra asked along with a swish of beach water.
Slowly, Kinan held and released Agra's hand to turn her body so facing each other then he led the man's hand to hug her back from the front. Kinan looked up his head, staring at Agra as deeply as his love, "I just want you to stay with me. To be by my side to a time limit I cannot determine. Being a place to rest when I'm tired. Make me the only person you love. I don't just want you. But also your love, Agra."
Agra smiled gently. Pulling her lover and then she grabbed him. Swiping his fragile back. Buried his face in the neck. The smell of roses coming out of her hair became her favorite part. Fragrance and make opium.
"I love you."
The words spoken from Agra's lips coincided with the sun sinking in the swallow of the universe. The universe that kindly presents today. The day Kinan was so happy to be in the arms of his beloved lover.
This time let Kinan smile without his mask of sadness. Let him occupy the position of Adira for a moment to sip his pleasure in the face and not ignored.
Because whether it was a coincidence or not, now, things are turning around. Adira feels neglected by Agra. Worse, Nathan also ignored his presence.
......
Sorry I just got up today. In real life, I have a lot to take care of.
