Haz immediately pulled out his hand which was grasped by the Whisk. He looked towards the confused Whisk.
"I really like you, Hazelia Lify. I can't force you to feel my feelings. I can only hope that you can feel the same way towards me" said Whisk. He pulled back his outstretched hand. She forgets that Haz doesn't really like physical contact, let alone from a man.
"We can slowly understand each other. No need to rush, right? After all, we are both young, too" Haz said.
Whisk can understand that Haz does not want to rush into a relationship. He wants to get to know Haz. She doesn't want Haz to feel uncomfortable with her.
"alright. I get your point. Let's slowly get to know each other before deciding to continue our friendship to a more serious level. I'm sorry I made you uncomfortable" said Whisk.
Haz did not reply to Whisk. They both enjoyed dinner together in silence. There's no topic to talk about. Whisk was aware, only he was in too much of a hurry. Only he fears Haz will belong to someone else. Haz is clearly interested in her.
After finishing his plate of fried rice, Haz called Ratih and waved to the female servant.
"What's wrong, Miss Hazel?" ask Ratih when he gets to Haz and Whisk's table.
"I ordered a sorbet, baby. I forgot to order the dessert" replied Haz.
"Ready, Miss. It will be prepared soon," said Ratih excitedly.
"I also order one," pinta Whisk before Ratih actually leaves from there.
"Ready! Two glasses of sorbet will be delivered soon." Then, Ratih actually left Haz and Whisk's table.
Silence attacked the two men again. Neither Haz, nor Whisk tried to talk to each other about anything.
Not until fifteen minutes, Train back to their table while carrying a sorbet order.
"It's a strawberry sorbet for Miss Hazel and it's a brown sorbet for Master" Ratih said as she placed a glass containing a sorbet in front of each one. "Please enjoy."
Ratih felt a gripping atmosphere between Haz and Whisk. He immediately left before getting involved in the quarrel of the unofficial lovers.
Haz put a spoonful of sorbet tea in his mouth. He was not angry or uncomfortable with the whiskey. It was just that he was too prestigious to reveal what was on his mind. He was afraid that he would hurt the Whisk's feelings indirectly.
"I will listen to your request, Hazelia Lify ...." Whisk said in the end, as an opening of the gripping silence that was going on between the two of them. "Whatever you want, go to sewer to make sure, without Zenneth's approval, I'll get it."
"Why?" ask Haz.
"There's no particular reason" replied the Whisk. He played a chocolate sorbet with a teaspoon in his hand.
"It's almost eight o'clock in the evening. We're leaving thirty minutes before Zenneth gives us the news." Haz decides. Although already banned by Zenneth, he will still insist to go to sewer before the information given—Whisk himself understand and can not say anything about it.
About two hours earlier, the conversation between Whisky Woods and Zenneth ....
"Actually, I don't care if you leave without my information. But, all I was afraid of was that the signal I picked up was a bomb signal set up by Tyas Reddish. I didn't expect that you guys would believe in an ex-con like Tyas. I just hope you guys aren't being careless" Zenneth said at length.
"What percent is the probability that it was a bomb signal installed by Tyas Reddish?" ask the Whisk to Zenneth.
"My belief is eighty percent. Twenty percent more is that it was the signal from the last used computer" Zenneth replied.
"If it's a bomb signal, we'll meet at the casino building after the explosion. If not, then it's okay" Zenneth continued. "The backpack contained a laptop, a change of clothes, and several other tools. Please bring yes. I can't tell you to leave empty-handed. Haz already understands me so much, that I don't have to tell him these rules."
Whisk could only nod in understanding with Zenneth's intent. Hazelia says that Zenneth is the most reliable. He seems to have been trained to be a good detective partner, inwardly.
"Haz trained me. I knew him when we were both in High School. He told me that he wanted to be a detective. From there, I learned computer programs well. I was so happy when Haz said he got a scholarship to the capital. He is a graduate of S1 Literature, with Liulaika Jelkesya. I didn't like Jelkesya, but since he was Hazelia's best friend from the moment they sat on the bench in Kanak-Kanak Park, I couldn't do anything about it. Haz helped a lot with the case that happened in the capital. I provided all the necessities he needed under his direction, he who then acted."
Whisk listened to Zenneth's story carefully. Hazelia is lucky to be surrounded by people who care about her. Good, thought the man with the reddish.
Before long Haz's face appeared with her typical vanity and beauty.
"That's your girlfriend's done ...."
Back to the cafe ....
"Are you uncomfortable with me?" ask Whisk.
Haz looked at Whisk's face for a moment, then shook his head. I should have asked you that, that woman.
"If you feel uncomfortable, don't say it to me. I will not do anything uncomfortable to you anymore" said Whisk.
Whisk's eyes were very warm, Haz could feel the sincerity of the gaze. He could only smile and play his fingers nervously. He did not know what to say to the man before him. If only I had the courage to tell my heart the truth, the mind.
Whisk gives one part of the bluetooth headset to Haz. Haz paused for a moment, then accepted the thing. The reddish gibberish man pulled out his phone and played a sad song.
Say something, I'm giving up on you—Say something, I'll stop wishing on you
I'll be the one, if you want me to—I'll be the only one, if that's what you want from me
Anywhere, I would've followed you—Anyway, I will definitely follow you
Say something, I'm giving up on you—Say something, I'll stop wishing on you
