Still Haz can't stop his wild imagination of what he's been missing. He was so curious as to what Thomas Bara wanted to tell him. In fact he has made another conclusion besides he missed something as Thomas Bara intended to say: That actually Thomas Bara deliberately let go of himself like that and made him confused when he had stepped on the right path—Thomas Bara wanted to make him confused so that he could not solve this case at all.
Am I thinking too much? If this case is simplified again, is it possible? thought Haz.
"Hazelia, stop thinking about the case and clear your mind for a moment" Whisk warned Haz.
Whisk is a little worried about Haz's circumstances, who likes to overthink things that are not going his way. Although sometimes he himself likes to do the same thing, but not as bad as Haz.
Haz looked towards the Whisk. He took a deep breath, finding no way out. He could not discern the honesty or lies that Thomas Bara's gaze emitted while in his former dump.
If only I could solidify my choice, would I have to trust the gaze given by Thomas Bara? Or should I trust the path that has been taken so far and truly based on the analysis I have obtained?
Whisk clasped Haz's hand and smiled gently at the woman.
Whisk's eyes were calm and loving, making Haz's mind running here and there stop and return right in the middle of his head. He smiled back at the man.
"I believe in you, Hazelia Lify. Whatever path you take, you will believe what Thomas Bara wants to tell you or you will believe in yourself, the path you have made and you have traveled so far, I will always trust and support you" Whisk said.
"Thank you" said Haz shyly.
"Yes, equally," replied the Whisk.
"I'm curious" said Haz. He looked out there, the car following the Whisk was still waiting outside. Although it's not right in front of the cafe, it makes both Whisk and Haz restless.
"About what? The guy in the car? Or the reason that guy followed me?" ask Whisk.
"both. What will he gain from following you? Wouldn't it be better if he followed me?" Haz asked back. "Except ...."
"Except what? Don't talk hanging like that, Hazelia. I don't like being curious" Whisk lamented.
"I'm not even trying to tell you."
Haz grinned as Whisk narrowed his eyes and wore a pouting expression to threaten Haz that he would not heed the woman if he did not tell the continuation of her words.
"alright. Alright. Don't threaten me like that. I was just kidding. All I'm saying is unless someone else is involved in the case. Again."
Haz takes the French Toast from Whisk without his owner's permission. Whisk seemed to be unconcerned about it and thought of Haz's words.
"You mean there's another party involved that's causing a misunderstanding between all of us? If that is so then Thomas Bara is telling you that" said Whisk.
"But it may not be that. If there was a third party, their movements would soon be smelled. I have to figure something out. What if we distract the people who are chasing you?" ask Haz.
"How do I trick him? Do you have a good way?" Whisk asked and looked at Haz. She doesn't know what plan Haz is thinking, but she does know that it's something she won't agree with. Haz is famous for doing crazy things. Even his best friend, Liulaika Jelkesya, also confirmed it.
"I don't agree." Whisk immediately rejected Haz's crazy advice. She obviously doesn't want to get Haz hurt, even though she knows Haz can dodge. Not always luck siding on that woman's side.
"Why?" Haz asked in a disappointed tone. His face pouted, hoping that the Whisk accepted his proposal. That way he'll easily figure out why the man, Police Officer Nicholas Qet Farnaz, is after Whisk.
"It's not always luck siding by your side. What if your day turns out bad and there's bad luck on you? I promised Jelly I'd take care of you. There is no way I will break that promise. My life can float." Whisk still disapproves of Haz's proposal. He used Jel as an excuse.
"I'll keep doing it."
Haz is so stubborn. He did not want any rejection. He still believes he can do it. He wants and believes that he can.
"God, can't you listen to someone else's advice?" ask Whisk.
"I don't think you can listen to anyone else's advice, Mr. Woods. I can do it. You know it too. I don't feel like my day is shit or anything like that. I'm still gonna do it. See you," said Haz, leaving Whisk alone at the cafe table.
Haz goes to the bathroom of the cafe to remove the wig she wears and remove the make-up on her face. He looked at his reflection from the mirror. There was a bit of fear seeping into him.
I'm sure I can do it. This is just my feeling, the result is not necessarily the same as what I feel now, Haz thought.
Haz snatches her mini sports bag and exits the cafe bathroom.
Haz pays for the food he ordered at once which is ordered by Whisk and gets out of the cafe immediately.
Haz takes off the bike chain and rides it.
Let's do this job. Hopefully it goes well and as you wish. To be sure, Haz's inner self-sustained.
Haz pedals the bike casually past the car chasing the Whisk.
Everything went as Haz wanted. Through the small glass she was deliberately holding, the woman could see the car chasing the Whisk following her.
The rest I leave to you, Whisky Woods. Hopefully you can solve your own problems after this. Now all I have to think about is where am I going to take this car?
Haz thought as he continued to paddle his bike casually. He stopped at a crossroad.
Not many cars passing by. But because the traffic lights are still red, then inevitably he must obey the rules including traffic signs.
Very long ....
Haz took a long breath.
How much longer do I have to wait?
