Alkaf resumes the story of little Haz who is delayed ...
Little Haz picked up newspapers and magazines today that were on the grounds of the orphanage. He patted newspapers and magazines, keeping him out of the dust. Then, take her inside the orphanage.
Little Haz placed newspapers and magazines on the table, in front of Mr and Mrs Li. "Please read newspapers and magazines today if you are both bored. I'll make coffee and tea." After saying so, he rushed to the kitchen to prepare coffee and tea.
Not just coffee or tea. Black coffee to be served by little Haz is a good quality black coffee directly sent from Brazil by a wealthy merchant who accidentally saved from a small accident due to the intelligence of the little Haz. As a thank you, he ended up awarding several packs of Brazilian coffee. He also presented a pair of rose-patterned cups, which were useful as a place to entertain rich people, such as Mr and Mrs Li.
The tea that will be served by little Haz is also not a tea that is usually served in three-star restaurants to food stalls at that time, but chamomile-scented tea that is being sold in the market. The price is soaring high. It was his proposal to provide tea in the orphanage, to entertain important guests who came. The tea was bought three days ago Mother Shinta, she rattled the expensive price of— when there were already several pieces of red money in her hands, he said, as Mr and Mrs Li's down payment when wanting to adopt little Haz, the rest will be paid if they already get the thing they want.
Little Haz once read a guide to making the right coffee and tea in the style of a five-star restaurant. He tried to concoct it, but it felt far from bad.
Little Haz brought his 'practice' to the living room, to host Mr and Mrs Li. He put each cup in reverse—Master Li got a clove filled with tea and Madam Li got a cup filled with coffee. Not without reason he put it in the reverse position. His instinct is to put the cup in an inverted position. "Please."
Little Haz returns to the living room, moving into the study room of her sisters in the parlour. She picked up a novel from the top of one of her sister's study tables. I'll borrow it for a second, brother! he murmured in the heart. Then, take her to the living room.
"Hey, little boy!" call Madame Li when little Haz has placed herself in the most comfortable sitting position.
"Sorry, Lady. My name is Hazelia Lify. You can call me Hazelia or something shorter Haz" said the little Haz. He looked at Madam Li for a moment, then, turned his gaze towards the novel he was holding.
The hazelia? inner Lady Li. The child does not know manners. I wouldn't have a niece like this!
"Oh. You Hazelia?" asked Mr. Li, not believing in the miracle he saw now—that a four-year-old could brew coffee and tea tailored to the tastes of adults, giving newspapers and magazines, now, a, the boy was reading an elaborate novel by the famous classical writer JONSTEIN GAARDER, with his puzzles hard to solve.
"Can't we adopt another child besides him?" Madam Li asked, growling furiously at the treatment of little Haz whom she considered impolite, unworthy of being a member of the Li family.
"What are you talking about?" mr. Li snapped at his own wife. "You don't understand the situation that he is the son of Jonathan Li, my brother, my own brother!? After all, we agreed, we adopted it only to return the favor of the elder brother, not really make him a child!"
You are an adult! Can't they lower the volume of their voice when they're talking to a child who understands what they're saying?! Or did they intentionally make me hear that?! little Haz was upset.
Little Haz ignored the adult talk— especially about business—in between Mr and Mrs Li. He knows himself enough, as a smart little boy, he should not interfere in adult affairs.
Haz seemed to be reading the right book.
SOPHIE'S WORLD. The book tells the story of a fourteen-year-old girl named Sophie Amundsen, who lives a normal life like children her age, until one day, she is sent a mysterious letter containing philosophies.
Little Haz read the novel until that part. She felt, Sophie was very similar to her. But on a different side.
Sophie is a fourteen-year-old child, can be traded with common sense if she is smart, her age has reached adolescence. But, little Haz? He's four years old! Having intelligence and attitude mature like this becomes a very serious problem for him, also for the people around him.
Alkaf stopped the story for a while, as he was chewing on noodles ...
"The pastor's a vegetarian, isn't he?" ask Andrian.
"I'm pretty smart, there's no way I'm gonna let my boyfriend eat meat or onions on this one." Jel was even more sensitive than Milla, who when she heard Haz say that James was involved in the tragedy that befell her family, her face turned deathly pale without saying anything.
"I don't mean to offend you, Miss," Andrian said, shrugging his shoulders and putting a plain look on his face, as if he felt innocent.
"No need to apologize for being offended quickly. You will regret it even more when you meet a four-year-old child, with a language style like an adult. When you irritate her, she'll make you three times more annoyed than you did her" Haz said. He had already eaten half of the large portion of soba noodles that Jel had bought.
"Huh. I can't imagine it! But, how good is your Papa and Mama to be able to give birth to a child as terrible as this?" ask James.
"Not great. They are just geniuses who become good-natured businessmen. At least, even though they had an accidental plane crash, they left me at the home of one of my best friends. They promised to leave me for about a week. Two months they did not return. I had to send me to an orphanage, because I had read the news about the plane crash so late. They still let me live properly. In life, man has only two choices; live or end." Haz wagged his messy bangs, "easy enough right?"
"I feel a bad feeling from Miss Hazelia's words ...." Andrian glanced at Haz for a moment. Then, turn towards his buckwheat noodles that are only a quarter. He immediately finished his meal.
The whiskey did not comment. He's waiting for little Haz's story to follow.
"All right! Let's continue!" exclaim Alkaf spirit. He finished his food.
"Wo .. wait a minute!" Milla interjected, "Is there no schedule here that limits patient visits?"
"Senor, only a small fraction of hospitals implement such a system. Most of them ignore it, because many factors affect it. First, there is a shortage of medical teams. Second, the schedule will not apply in the developing world, with stubborn people. Now, do you understand the situation here?" obviously Haz.
"Geez, what a mess the system is here!" crybaby Milla
"Actually, this country is already in the red zone. The streets are also empty. But, if provoked using a little bait, people will immediately flocked to enliven the city again. No one was told to linger in the house" said Alkaf.
"Actually, even gathering is not a problem," Haz spent a large portion of food. Then, continuing his words, "the immune system of the human body can be strengthened quickly. However, the problem now is that the stock is in my office at that damn hospital. I spent millions on the money I made and foolishly left the valuables in the hospital office. If only this jerk hadn't bothered me," he stared at Ric, the saddest man lying in a hospital bed right now, "I might have saved the world!"
"Oh. You mean, he's the one who spread this ridiculous news?" james asked, showing him an article Haz had read.
Haz nodded. "Not wrong," he replied, "luckily I am not one who likes to hold a grudge against others like him. Or another example; Thomas Bara. I was quite aware that I needed someone else's shoulder to live—leaning for a moment from the test of life."
"I get. Continue your story, Pastor."
When Mother Shinta came home from the market ...
Cret!
The door of the home was finally opened. There, the sour face of Mother Shinta. Little Haz could assume that Mother Shinta experienced a very bad event in the market earlier. It must be about the customer or the competition that makes him upset.
But, that sour face turned into cheerful instantly, seeing that Master and Madame Li had already come and were sitting inside. Didn't you know they've been waiting for about an hour just to wait for an insignificant person like him?
And now, with her shameless face, she hurriedly walked over and sat down before Master and Lady Li. Without making small talk, and with his disgusting happy face, he said, "We can discuss yesterday's matter, Ladies and Gentlemen."
"No shame on you! It has made people wait for so long, still wanting to take advantage as soon as possible! Lady j*han*m!" snapped Madame Li. Oh, my God .. he uttered words that no child should ever hear!
But, little Haz seemed to have no problem with Madam Li's words. He, with his flat face, was still seriously reading the novel by JONSTEIN GAARDER in his hands.
A moment before Mother Shinta finally snapped at her to vent her frustration, "Little child for what to hear adult talk?! There go!"
The screams of Madam Li and Mother Shinta were enough of an alarm for all the children inside the parlour, forcing them to wake up, out of curiosity with the commotion that deliberately made—hal commonplace when a queen drama met with other queen dramas.
"No need to scream, I want to get out of this place quickly. Continue the adult conversation between you. Try not to scream or the kids will wake up and make you bother—I won't help" said Haz. He, with the book still attached to his hand, eyes still fixed on one object, and his intelligent brain that was digesting the words in the novel, stepping away left the three humans who settled in the living room. One looked in awe at his little figure, the other two were idiots who continued their insignificant argument.
Master Li looked at his elder brother's daughter in admiration. If only he could have a child like little Haz, how nice would it be. But, he saw his own wife doing insignificant things next to him. I would never get a chance to get a kid as smart as a big brother's daughter, he thought.
"Can you shut up?!" mr. Li shouted, which was heard all the way to the nursery room, as well as Haz's small ears.
Basic of adults. I warned you not to make a scene. They still don't hear what I say! inner little Haz.
Little Haz ignored what was going to happen in that place, filled with various pairs of little children's eyes that made them feel uncomfortable. He prefers to hang himself on the dining table bench.
"Hazelia?" A voice called to him. That's Lazul.
In the orphanage, who was the caretaker other than Mother Shinta, was Lazul. Lazul is moving to New York. He received a scholarship to attend school there. How lucky he is!
"Good morning, Lazul sir. Ignoring the commotion the three great humans made, they would be angry at big brother if it was near there. Oh yeah, I borrowed this!" Little Haz shows Lazul's book, which he reads.
Lazul ruffled little Haz's hair. "For you, Hazelia. I'm done reading it."
True, said little Haz, a minute later, they heard the screams of Mother Shinta and the cries of some children.
"Leave it, brother. He starts, he's the one who has to end, too" little Haz told Lazul.
"really. But, they don't have the intelligence of Hazelia. Comeing! Help brother, huh?" persuade Lazul.
Lazul understands why little Haz does not like Mother Shinta. Where there are people who want to be treated like goods, even a child understands. Doing a buying and selling transaction with a child? That's totally immoral.
"Hah .. okay. Because brother asked, I'll help. Come on!"
The atmosphere in the living room is very noisy. Mother Shinta scolded the crying children, making their cries even more. Lazul let out a long breath looking at such an atmosphere. Little Haz put on a flat look.
Lazul tries to calm Mother Shinta, while little Haz leads the crying and eavesdropping children into their room.
Little Haz placed his index finger in front of his lips. "Shttt!" He hinted to the children who were still crying and the others to be quiet. "Magic granny will catch you if you make a noise."
Miraculously, who was crying, instantly fell silent. The scared, curious.
"We're playing sorcerer and kids, yeah," little Haz asked.
"Come on!" exclaim other kids spirit.
Lazul went into the room after his affair with Mother Shinta was completed.
"Son Lazul is his magic grandmother!" exclaim little Haz.
The children immediately split up and laughed cheerfully.
"Abroad! Brother be grandpa magic dong! Grandma magic time?" cananda Lazul's.
"Sister must catch us! We are children" said little Haz.
Back to patient room ...
"In short they play that silly game to please other little kids" Alkaf said.
During his nostalgia about his childhood, Haz smiles remembering him and Lazul playing with other children. The handsome face of the thick bloody Dayak man was still clearly exposed within his memories. Lazul must have had a family there in New York, he thought.
Haz laughs as the sephia-inspired film rolls around his head; he runs from Lazul and is eventually caught and punished, tickled.
"Hazelnuts? Healthy?" alkaf asked in horror, seeing Haz laughing to himself.
"Healthy, very healthy, Alkaf ...."
