Lady Sherlock: The First Unofficial Case
163: A Three-Day Conversation

Arriving at the Central Jakarta police station, the day was shown at 17:24 on Haz's mobile screen. And, he himself was estimating the time Nich was kidnapped.

Bad situation, Haz thought. They could have killed Nich, too. Until that time comes, I may be the one who has the most pity for having to take responsibility for my mistakes in taking steps. I'm gonna feel so guilty.

Whisk occasionally glanced at Haz, just to check on the woman, of course. He knows that Haz always has a syndrome, which will make him blame himself in all the bad circumstances that occur.

"Welcome to the Central Jakarta Metro Police, how can we help you?" ask someone. He approached Haz and Whisk who looked like a dazed and disoriented person.

"Ah," muttered Haz who realized from his daydream about the terrible situation that would befall Nicholas Qet Farnaz. He looked at the policeman who asked him, perhaps also to Whisk, then answered him by asking about Nich's state, "Good afternoon, sir. Is Mr Nicholas Qet Farnaz in place? We made an appointment with him."

"Make a promise" said Haz? Of course it was a lie, to be able to check on Nich's true state. Even so, from then on his hunch was already bad. I hope his bad thoughts are broken.

Whisk actually intends to nudge Haz's shoulder to warn the woman how dangerous it is to lie to a policeman, more or less as he is doing right now. However, he paused his intentions and remained silent.

Whisk knew that Haz wouldn't be happy with such an annoying behavior. He's quite self-conscious. And, to be honest, he was just as curious and equally worried about the state of Nicholas Qet Farnaz, as Haz was. Although he will not be happy if he and the Police must scramble to have their dream woman.

"Commissioner Nicholas? He was in his room. Not out at all. He's always been like this, too. If there is no need, or no one is looking for him, or he himself has no plans and intentions to get out, he can spend a full day living in his room," The police in front of Haz and Whisk explained, looking suspiciously at them—even though Haz had said, which is a lie, that he and Whisk had made an appointment with Nich.

Of course no one would believe it if there was no concrete evidence! It has become a law of nature.

However, it seems that Whisk is more good at tricking others; he has prepared something unexpected, chat with Nicholas Qet Farnaz! And, of course, the ones that aren't made up. Even though it was already around a few days ago, it was probably around three or four days.

Whisk showed the conversation to the police. As a result, he and Haz were allowed to meet Nicholas Qet Farnaz.

The Whisk conversation with Nich also featured a promised date. Even better, the date they promised was today's date! It was like an accurate prediction.

"How can you promise to meet on today's date?" haz whispered softly. She's curious.

"There's no particular reason, Hazelia Lify. We just had to propose this date" Whisk whispered back to Haz's question. He looked unconvincing, looking like he was lying.

Haz squinted his eyes. He knew the Whisk was hiding something, but a second later he turned his eyes away. He doesn't want to argue with anyone.

Whisk initially smiled nervously as Haz stared intently at him. However, he heaved a sigh of relief because the long-haired woman did not ask further. Yeah, right, he's hiding something.

Three days ago….

Whisky Woods: I have a bad feeling about you

The chat was neither replied to nor read by Nich until some time had passed.

Then, Whisk got a reply from Nich after twenty-five minutes had passed. Naturally, Nich is a cop and he may be busy.

Nicholas Qet Farnaz: What do you mean by a bad premonition, sir? Are you praying for something bad to happen to me?

The whiskey quickly read the message. And, without waiting for long, he immediately replied to her.

Whisky Woods: I'm not praying. You know, yeah.maybe the premonition of a detective?

Nicholas Qet Farnaz: I should have told you all something.

The conversation began to deviate in another direction and Whisk began to feel strange about it. The reddish-browed man then tried to pull Nich to say "something" he meant.

Whisky Woods: What do you mean by telling us something? What are you hiding, Nicholas?

Whisk was initially hesitant to send the message. Will this be enough to make an honest talk? Maybe yes, and maybe not. But…. Oh, come on Whisky Woods! Why are you the one who thinks about the position of others? You hate Nicholas Qet Farnaz. Um? Hated her? Probably not. ah either! Nevermind! It's not time to worry like this. Just send! think Long Whisk.

Finally, Whisk sent a message with that question—which Nich might not reply to.

It turned out that Nich answered him instead. Maybe nervous, maybe even relaxed? The whiskey doesn't know. He didn't see Nich's expression. Nor was she a great astrologer like Sherlock Holmes, or the closest: Hazelia Lify.

Whisk was a little surprised when he saw Nich's statement. But, that's what made him not so surprised when he found Nich honest with Haz and his plot— exactly two days later.

Nicholas Qet Farnaz: I actually knew one of the Hassan Family and was in a relationship with him. I have never trusted you for what he and his family have done. But, for whatever sake, Whisky Woods, for whatever sake! Now, if you ask me if I trust you more, or trust him more, I prefer to trust you more.

The whiskey slowly rubbed his forehead. Vertigo suddenly attacked him, making him nauseous and headache, and making his vision a little dark.

So, all this time Hassan's family has known what we're planning? That's grand! Do I have to say this honestly to Hazelia Lify? The whiskey asked in my heart.

In the end, the Whisk decided not to interfere and pretended not to know.

Whisky Woods: I don't know what to say, Nicholas. But, I suggest that you can be honest also to those you have lied to. More precisely, you are a duet.
