During his time with Alkaf, Jel felt not so free. There were restrictions that he had to abide by, not the same as when he was on Haz's side.
Jel knew, Alkaf implemented some bans to protect her. But he really didn't want it. Moreover, the ban on not getting too close to Haz. Wh why? Why can't he get close to Haz? Haz has helped her: Protect her, find her a job, never even hesitating to help whatever her predicament.
"Where do you want to go?" tanya Alkaf, caught her boyfriend―or, more precisely her unofficial fiancee―who was sneaking out of the apartment.
"I need some fresh air" replied Jel.
"It's nine o'clock in the evening. You should have slept." Rather than a reply to the answer Jel gave, the sentence was more about the force and possessiveness of one's partner. Surely, it made Jel a little fed up.
"Can't I get some fresh air?" Jel was tired too. Every day should only follow the direction of Alkaf. He felt that he was living to be organized by others.
"Honestly, where are you going?" asked Alkaf, trying to extract information from Jel.
"Where am I going? I told you, I want to get some fresh air!" Jel began to raise his voice. He felt his impatience had already reached its peak, reaching his crown.
"How difficult is it to answer the place you are going to?" Alkaf also does not want to lose.
It seemed that there would soon be a great cold war between the two couples. Alkaf who would not give up, with Jel who was tired of being constantly restrained.
"It takes a lot of fresh air. I could be outside the apartment, I could go to the park, I could go to places I like. Besides, you're holding my phone. I can't reach anyone, not even my own mother! Don't think of anything!" Jel exploded.
Alkaf instantly fell silent afterwards, saying nothing more. As for Jel himself, he immediately stepped away from before Alkaf. He came out of the apartment with a jacket and sleeping pajamas attached to his body.
Alkaf could only stare at Jel's departure. Jel's disappointed face was constantly twisted inside her head. One of the things he was afraid of was Jel who was about to leave him. He could not imagine how it happened to him.
Jel who was already outside the apartment, let out a long sigh and muttered to himself, "I want to go to the Cafe that I often go with Haz ...."
Jel reached into the pocket of her sleeping pajamas, took the keys to the car that was inside there. It turned out that he had not forgotten to bring the tiny thing.
Jel walked towards the parking lot. He started the engine and drove the car out of the parking lot.
Jel's mind was very messed up back then. Several times, he almost hit a street cat. Fortunately, he always stepped on the brakes at the right time. His instincts are sharp. He felt that the cats deliberately wanted to let themselves get hit. Several times he had to get out of the car to move the bodies of the cats.
"Well, yeah ..," said Jel while stroking the head of the cat he moved. He did that to all the cats he moved.
This is how Haz feels. Even though I don't like cats very much, I somehow feel that my heart is warm, Jel's mind.
One crazy thing that Haz had done that went through Jel's head was: Haz had been attacked by the woman, carrying cans of cat food and walking around every corner of Pematangsiantar city to give street cats food. At that time he was eager to help Haz, but the long-haired woman ran away somewhere.
Jel's face was smiling. He thinks Haz's behavior is ridiculous. But he likes it. Haz is not a hypocrite, he will do what he has in mind without having to change it. Haz whom he knew .. might be a little arrogant in some aspects, but very kind.
Jel got back in the car feeling good while making sure that the cat would not suddenly jump into the street. It would be very troublesome if it got hit of course.
"Does Haz still follow the Cat Lovers Club?" muttered Jel, asking himself. "It looks like I've fallen a little bit in love with that one hairy creature. It would be great if ...."
Jel returned moody. He certainly remembers that his phone is still being held by Alkaf, a case he got caught calling Haz just moments ago. Just like that .. until his phone must also be confiscated by the man in glasses.
Jel turned on the car engine again with a feeling of anxiety while hoping that there would be no more cats that would jump on the streets.
Jel's eyes are dewy, her nose is flushed. In a moment, the droplets will fall from his eyelids, perhaps. Though his feelings had improved a little when he thought about Haz, but it had become worse because of the terbesit in his mind Alkaf's extremely possessive treatment.
Everyone, whether in pairs or not, craves a relationship without suspicion, without possessive behavior, and wants their privacy appreciated.
Jel is well aware that she is also less able to divide her time between me time, time for Alkaf, and time for Haz. Wrong too.
But as long as Jel stays with Haz, the time can be arranged in such a way. Haz helps gently remind Jel: Ask if Jel has told Alkaf that they will work; Ask Jel if she has told Mama about their plans to go up the mountain; ask if her things have been packed or not, or when Jel needs other help.
Jel's chest was like being hit, especially when remembering Haz's kindness to him. He never thought why people would think Haz was bad when they didn't know him at all. Even worse, who did not want to know him.
The cafe was already seen in front of Jel's eyes, he immediately turned towards the parking lot and parked his car.
Jel got out of the car and smiled faintly. At least I have this place .. I just miss Haz, her inner self.
When Jel enters the cafe, she is shocked to see Haz who is also there. His mind was instantly empty and his brain was instantly blank, like a dazed person.
Jel had no idea she would meet Haz by chance like this.
