Just an Ordinary Man (Between True Love And Forbidden Love)
Trying to toughen up

Karin seems to be someone else. He no longer looked as strong and mature as ever. Now it is Andara who seems to be like her. Andara hugged her while stroking her hair.Khabit that is often done by Karin when Andara is sad.

Rika walked out of the room with slow steps. His two eyebrows were intertwined with one another's misgivings. He was afraid something bad would happen to his two friends.

But his thoughts and feelings change when he sees Andara calming Karin. Various thoughts flashed through his head, yet he tried to think positively.

Andara who felt she was being noticed also turned to Rika who stood looking. Andara smiled with a look as if she had already let go of all the burdens she was carrying. Andara nodded her head at Rika who still seemed to digest the situation.

Karin kept silent while looking at Rika who was performing worship in the morning. The girl waited patiently until Rika finished and tidied back her belongings.

Rika was astonished to see Karin who was already very neat. He usually sees the girl preparing after the sun starts to rise.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm leaving. Did you forget?" Karin's voice sounded weak.

"It's not even five in the morning. Shouldn't wait for a little brighter day. You can wait for you to wake up too."

Karin's sad look made Rika sad. The girl approached Karin who was even daydreaming.

"I can't wait for him. I better go now. I don't want to cry anymore."

Rika rubbed Karin's shoulders to strengthen the girl. But he himself was confused what to say.

"Please take care of him, yeah. But he is still a part of my life. Even though he is not mine now," said Karin softly with a smile and a glare.

Rika nodded and smiled. "I'll take good care of him. He is also my best friend. You take it easy."

"Thank you."

Rika nodded again. He knows how Karin is feeling right now, but he cannot calm her down with words that might even make Karin even sadder. So better to shut up Rika.

Karin scooped up the suitcase she had prepared earlier. The girl looked towards the room where you were still asleep. Karin inhales air and exhales it slowly to help her calm down.

"I'm leaving" he said, then walked to the door and left his room.

Rika takes Karin to the front of the boarding house. Karin also said goodbye to the hostess and the middle-aged woman delivered her to the front of the gate. Rika looked at the girl's departure with a sad look.

"Where's Karin?" ask Andara who just woke up, but the clock has shown at six past twenty.

Rika who was busy tidying the cooking tools also turned to her. "He's gone" he replied. Like being afraid to say that.

Andara fell silent with a gaze that Rika did not understand. The girl did not look sad or happy. "Oh," she responded and went to the bathroom.

Rika took a deep breath and looked sad. 'Will our friendship end? I want their relationship to end, but that doesn't mean I want them to no longer be friends. But, they must also be difficult to deal with this situation. Haaa....'

Rika and Andara had breakfast in silence. The atmosphere in the room was silent like never before. There was no laughter before and after breakfast. Your attitude that just fell silent made Rika confused to start a conversation.

Eventually they split up because Andara had to leave first. Leaving the sad looking Rika alone.

'Nothing,Rika. It's all for their good, too. They could definitely adjust to this state of affairs, someday.'

You are doing your activities as usual. It doesn't look a bit on his face if he has a problem. The girl could hide her heartbreak from her friends.

Karin daydreams along the way to her destination city. The girl continued to look at the crowded streets, but it was not that scene that was in her head.

His gaze looked very sad and his lips trembled occasionally even though it did not make him cry. In his eyes it was as if there were only memories of him and Andara.

'I had expected something like this would happen, given that it was impossible for your parents to let their children be in this kind of relationship. But I don't think he cut this relationship himself. Moreover, he did not look to suffer in the slightest with this farewell. Like I don't mean anything to her anymore.'

Karin's gaze was really sad, making the driver who took her sad. But that person did not dare to ask Karin. Because Karin did not respond to anything she said when they met. Karin just showed me where they should go.

Karin tries to live her days quietly, although she cannot deny that she still feels sad. But he tried not to be too late in his sadness.

The number of activities in the place where he currently lives makes him gradually forget his sadness. Although it will bother him again when he is alone, but he still tries.

Karin sat pensively as she relaxed a little from her work. The few people passing by before him did not bother him. The girl was still busy with her thoughts.

Until when a couple came and called him, making him surprised and aware of his daydream. The girl initially blinked confusedly, why is there an old man who knew her here and greeted her without hesitation?

Karin looked at the two people with furrowed brows. Over time he remembered the two men. He immediately approached them and greeted the two men.Pasang husband and wife smiled kindly with Karin's attitude.

"How are you, Om, Auntie? Who I thought it was." Karin said with a friendly smile.

"Alhamdulillah, we are healthy. We haven't seen each other in a long time, it's only fitting that you've forgotten us" said one woman, who is about fifty years old.

Karin smiled and invited them to sit in her seat earlier. The girl whispered to someone who was crossing her. Ask the guy to bring something to his desk. The man nodded and passed away.

"Om the same aunt here?" ask Karin after they sit down.

"We should ask, why are you here? Don't you have a business in Jakarta?"

"This is my Mama's restaurant, Om." Karin replied kindly and did not look disturbed in the slightest by the question of the two people.

"Oohh, like that. We didn't know this was your Mama's restaurant."

"Yes. This is the first restaurant that was built by my mom. I rarely come here. It only comes when there is really important business. My aunt is here?" asked Karin again, reminding the two people with his unanswered question earlier.

"Bandung is the hometown of Aunty. We came here to visit our family home."

"Ooh..." Karin nodded her head.

"You're in good health, aren't you?" asked the woman with a look that Karin thought was a little strange.

"Yes, Aunt. I'm healthy. Very healthy indeed." The girl laughed softly and invited smiles to the two people in front of her.

"You still live near Thanit's hostel, right?"
