Alex actually went to the scene, the assumption is that the police are still investigating the place and asked for information on several witnesses there. After taking care of the crime scene, Alex immediately contacted Zionel's family. Of course the news of the stabbing made Falera Cruise fall unconscious at his home.

Alex convinces Nicholas Cruise to stay calm, helping the police investigate the case. After helping the police, Alex immediately went to the hospital.

At the hospital, Stevani kept sobbing. He continued to pander in front of the operating room regardless of his increasingly swollen legs. That woman doesn't care about herself right now.

After an hour in the operating room, Zionel's parents came to the hospital. Cruise's extended family even went with them. Falera looked very angry as she walked towards Stevani.

Plaaaakk...

A loud slap landed on Stevani's cheek until the woman fell to the floor.

"Mom... calm down." said Nicholas while holding his wife.

"Basaras the unlucky carrier woman. Ever since you came to our family, we haven't felt at ease. Now you got my son stabbed. If anything happens to Zio, you also have to pay with your life." cried Falera.

"Take it easy, baby, this is a hospital." - Nicholas.

Stevani again cried, he approached the foot of Falera Cruise and held it tightly.

"I'm sorry, aunt, it's all my fault. If Zio hadn't helped me, I might have been the one who got stabbed. I beg you to forgive me." asked Stevani sobbing.

"I knew you were going to bring shit to the Cruise family. You shameless woman." said Cecil.

"Be quiet, Cecil, don't add spice to this." snaps Nicholas.

"But om..."

"Stevani wake up son, we don't know what's really going on yet. You don't have to blame yourself." Nicholas said cutting off Cecil's words.

"Daddy don't stand up for this woman anymore, she's the one who put our Zio in danger" Falera said as she brushed her legs off Stevani's embrace.

Alex arrives at the hospital, he turns up when he sees Stevani on the floor. The man immediately ran towards Stevani and helped the woman get up from there.

"What's going on?" ask Alex.

"Lex take this woman away, I don't want to see her." Falera snapped.

"The police are investigating the matter, ma'am President please calm down. You can't blame Stevani for the stabbing spree being a big rival to the company" Alex said.

"I don't care, he should have been the one who got stabbed instead of my son." cried Falera.

"Oh my God, calm down.it is not the time for us to be like this, Zio is still in the operating room. Lex... Better get Stevani home first, her clothes are covered in blood." Nicholas said.

"Okay, President" replied Alex.

Stevani refused, however. He wanted to know how Zionel was doing after the operation.

"Miss Vani, you better clean yourself first." Alex asked.

"No sir Alex, I don't want to go anywhere" Stevani replied.

"Alright, but at least we're getting away from the Cruise family" whispered Alex.

Stevani nodded his head, although he could not get close to Zionel, but at least he remained in the hospital waiting for Zionel to hear. Alex was again surprised when he saw Stevani walking in a limp. The man saw Stevani's swollen legs.

"What happened to your leg? You're hurt, you've got to take care of your leg." Alex said, helping Stevani step away from the Cruise family.

Stevani shook her head. "I'm fine. It's just sprained."

"Your leg is so swollen Van, if anything happens to you then Mr. Zio will fire me. You better treat your wounds first." ask Alex again but Stevani remains stubborn.

The woman did not want to leave Zionel until there was good news from the doctor. Alex can't do anything about it, he can't force the woman because she's not a child anymore.

Two hours have passed...

The operating light goes out, the operation has been completed. The doctor and several nurses came out of the operating room. Cruise's family approached the doctor.

"How's our son doc?" ask Falera and Nicholas at the same time.

"Thank God the operation went well, the young master had already passed his critical period, after a few hours he would wake up and be taken to the treatment room. Mr. Cruise doesn't have to worry now." replied the doctor.

Hearing the doctor's answer made everyone feel relieved including Stevani. But the woman eventually fell unconscious because she was unable to endure the pain in her leg.

As soon as Alex asked the doctor for help, they immediately took Stevani to the treatment room.

Stevani blinked her eyes many times and finally came to a realization. He was shocked when he was in the treatment room.

"Miss is conscious, she almost got her leg amputated" said a nurse.

"My injuries aren't that bad." Stevani replied.

"Who said, miss took too long to let her legs dislocate like that. You can lose a leg if you leave it for another hour. While the lady do not use the leg until it is completely healed, if it is still stubborn, then the doctor will really cut the leg miss." threatened the nurse.

"What Sister Van said was right, you almost made your feet rot. I just saw the doctor who handled your leg. You really are such a tough woman that you can endure such pain." Alex said as he moved closer to Stevani.

"How's Zio doing?" ask Stevani.

"Ckckck."

"Lexi..."

"Zio was conscious, but due to the influence of drugs, he fell asleep again. He makes Miss Cruise crazy, because it just opened your eyes immediately looking for your existence." replied Alex.

"But he doesn't know I'm here, do I beg you not to tell him anything." said Stevani.

"No one answered when he fell asleep."

"God thank you for saving Zio."

"Beyond the police waiting, are you ready to be questioned?"

Stevani nodded her head.

"All right, I'll let them in. Tell me all the details of what happened to Van, so they can find the perp."

"I'll tell you everything I know" Stevani replied.

"Well, wait a minute."

Alex let the police ask Stevani for information, the woman told the details of the incident. But Stevani could not help much because at the time of the incident, he did not see the perpetrator at all. After the police finished, they left Stevani.

"You don't see the perpetrator at all?" ask Alex after the cops get out.

Stevani shook her head. "I heard Zionel's scream and he pushed me down. After that I was confused as to what happened, but it turned out that Zio had already been stabbed."

"It's okay, they must have caught the perpetrator immediately. There are several cctv that lead to the city park. Ease of investigation soon find results."

"I wish it was like that. But it looks like the target of the perpetrator is me. But I just came to Lex's town, I don't know anyone here let alone an enemy."

"It could have been a personal vendetta against Mr. Zio, he hurt you knowing you were close to him. Since Cruise's company got ahead, the business competitors are getting more and more vans."

"For God's sake I was so scared when I saw so much blood coming out of Zio's stomach. Lucky God still saved him, if not..."

"There's no word if not Van... Mr. Zio is now really fine."

"Lex... is the Cruise family still in Zio's treatment room? I'd like to see her for a second." Stevani's plea.

"Unfortunately even if they are not there, you still cannot get out of bed. You could really lose your leg Van."

"Of course there is, it's my job to look after his future wife if she can't take care of you. Oh come on, lady, don't complicate my work. You better take another break, I'll tell you about Mr. Zio."

Stevani sighed. "All right, thanks Lex."

"No need to worry, it's my job." replied Alex.

Stevani smiled, he closed his eyes again because he could not do anything with his current state of feet.
