Stevani and Zaline

"Sister.I'm home." cried Zaline. "Sister.." he cried again for not getting an answer.

Zaline opened the rented door and it was locked.

"Where did Brother Vani go?" zaline Mummings.

He sighed and sat down on his rented porch chair while waiting.

"Haih..where the heck.I'm getting bored" said Zaline then moved from her seat.

Just as he was about to search for Stevani, the figure of the woman was visible from a distance. Zaline pushed both her hands to her waist. His lips began to curl in annoyance. But Stevani grinned when he saw his sister in front of the terrace. The woman ran over to him.

"Sorry beautiful lady, sister bought something. Have you been waiting a long time?" ask Stevani.

Zaline breathed. "It's not really because I'm waiting, but I'm afraid something will happen to you" she replied.

"Oh, that's so sweet of my sister. Thank you, but you don't have to worry, I'm not a kid anymore. Hold this." pinta Stevani while handing over the goods he bought to his sister.

Zaline accepts, while Stevani reaches into her pocket to retrieve the house keys.

Stevani opened the door when she finished turning her body and kissed the top of her sister's head. "I'm sorry... Come on in." take her.

Zaline followed her brother into her house.

"What did you buy?" ask Zaline while putting Stevani's purchased item on the table.

"Lunch and dinner, baby. Today my sister is cooking. There are also some snacks for you. Thank you for breakfast." Stevani replied.

"Wash your hands, wash your face." Stevani said.

"Ready boss." replied Zaline as she left her brother for the bathroom.

Stevani prepares lunch for her sister. A few minutes later, Zaline returned.

"Well..is there a party?" zaline asked because she saw so much food her sister had bought.

"Take it like that, eat it." replied Stevani. Zaline nodded her head and sat there.

"How was school, baby?" ask Stevani.

"It's very serious because it's going to be a test soon." replied Zaline.

"Your answer confuses the lady."

"I mean there's no time left to play around. I have to seriously take all the lessons because it's gonna be a test soon. Oh yes I am so sad today brother."

"Why baby? Tell me whatever happens." Stevani said as he sat next to his sister.

"A friend of mine will move to D, while at school only he will be my friend" replied Zaline.

"Why did he have to go so far?"

"Who was a policeman, he was transferred to the city. So they all moved there."

Zaline shook her head. "In school they chose to make friends, they didn't want to be friends with me because..."

"Sister's job.they know you work nights and go home in the morning" Stevani said.

Zaline hesitantly nodded her head.

Stevani sighed. "I'm sorry, Brother Zaline."

Zaline laughed when she ate again, while Stevani followed her sister's wishes. When he finished, Stevani approached Zaline.

Stevani pulled her sister and hugged her. "Your medicine should not be late to drink. Zaline will one day give you a life worth living. Sister promise..."

Zaline returned her brother's embrace. "For me now it's more than worth it, as long as my brother is always with me" he replied.

Stevani kissed the top of his head. "Smart kid, I love you more."

"I love you too." replied Zaline.

"Well, it's time for my brother to leave" Stevani said, letting go of his arms. "Take care of yourself, Zaline" he continued.

"Ready boy, heart on the road. Take good care of yourself too" Zaline said with a laugh.

Stevani laughs and leaves her brother home alone. If there was another job that was easier to earn money, maybe he wouldn't leave Zaline every night. He was always worried that Zaline's disease would come back, but he also left Zaline on Yoyoh's mother every day without her sister's knowledge.

Stevani exits the house and locks the door from the outside. He took a long breath. In front of the contract there is a subscription ojek waiting, he immediately went to his workplace.
