Trouble

Meeting had been running for an hour, they continued to report pending land acquisition. Zionel just listened while tapping his pen on the table. One of the staff submitted his report to Zionel, as soon as the man opened his file and read it carefully.

"Have you arranged a meeting with the landowner?" ask Zionel.

"Already sir, we promise to give them an answer the day after tomorrow" replied Mr. Kean manager of the branch company.

"Bring them here the day after tomorrow, I'll speak up" Zionel said.

"But sir, it's inappropriate for you to go down directly to face them" said Mr. Kean.

Zionel looked at Kean. "Why would I come so far away from city D if I didn't want to go down directly to deal with this matter?"

"Sir Kean take it easy, I will accompany Mr. Zio." said Alex.

Mr. Kean feels he can't handle the company well. "Sorry sir, I should..."

"It's over, you can come out except Mr. Kean." cut Zionel.

They nodded as they walked out of the meeting room. Alex also came out, there was only a pack of Kean and Zionel in the meeting room. Zionel moved from his seat. He moved his feet towards the window.

"How long have you been working for me?" ask Zionel.

"Seven years sir." replied Mr. Kean.

Zionel turned his body then looked at Mr. Kean again. Mr. Kean immediately lowered his head after getting the gaze from his superior.

"What is your salary as a manager still lacking Mr Kean?"

"Ma.ma.ma..you mean a..what sir." replied the man stammered.

Zionel approached the meeting table and opened his laptop. He showed his laptop to Mr. Kean.

"Look at what I found." Zionel ordered.

Frightened Mr. Kean saw Zionel's laptop. His eyes widened, his face paled instantly.

"I..i..ini.pak Zio ii this is not true sir."

Zionel pulled the corner of his lips. "Do you know why I just want to talk to you alone?"

Mr. Kean shook his head quickly.

"Because I still appreciate you as an old employee at PT. Raya Cruise Construction. But why would you betray the trust of the Cruise family, you commit corruption and provoke the citizens. I ask you again, is your salary as a manager here less?" zionel asked again with a cold voice.

Mr. Kean immediately knelt down in front of Zionel, his tears spilled. "forgive me my mistake sir."

"Even though I rarely go to a branch company, that doesn't mean you're all free to do anything behind my back. Me and the central staff always see what you're doing. Oh, my God, Mr. Kean, I'm really disappointed." Zionel sighed. "Urus your severance for 7 years, I don't want to see you again being in the company. It was the best option before I changed my mind and put you in jail." he said.

"Please Mr. Zio don't fire me, I'm getting older, where I might be able to find another job. Please Mr. Zio forgive me." asked Mr. Kean while crying.

Zionel clenched his teeth restraining his emotions. "Lex...!!!" call him.

Alex entered the room as he had been waiting at the door.

"Yes sir." Alex replied.

"I've said what I want to say, the rest take care of it until it's done" Zionel said.

"All right sir" Alex said again.

"Sir Zio... Please sir.." said Mr. Kean but Alex immediately arrested the man who wanted to pursue Zionel.

Zionel immediately stepped his foot out of the room. The point of this problem has been resolved. The branch company secretary was already waiting for him outside the room. The woman immediately took Zionel into her room which she had left for years. But the room was of course still well maintained.

"Do you need anything sir?" heni asked after arriving at his CEO's room.

"You must have known about Mr. Kean from Alex. Help Alex solve this problem and then give me the company's last month's report" Zionel replied.

"Reports are already on Mr. Zio's desk, while Mr. Kean's business will be settled as well" Heni replied.

"Good work Hen, thank you. You can come out."

"Well sir." replied Heni as he left the room.

Zionel immediately sees the company's report on his desk while waiting for Alex's arrival.

"Van.ada wants to meet you in Lili's room" Huber said.

"Well..who is sir?" ask Stevani.

Huber chuckles. "Who else if not the son of city councilor X."

"Can Mr. Huber say I'm not at work." asked Stevani.

"Unfortunately I said you'd see him." replied Huber.

"Let me face it." said Angga.

"What do you want to face?" ask Huber.

"He's one of the club's most important guests. He also owns shares here. Do I have to disappoint that guy?" Huber.

"But sir... Vani's..."

"Stop brother, I'll see him." said Stevani. "Sir Huber, do I have to bring brandi?" tanyakanya.

"Of course, let alone his favorite drink" Huber said.

"Sister Angga...!" stevani.

Angga sighed. "All right.wait a minute."

Stevani waited for Angga to prepare his brand, after he was ready he immediately went to Lili's room. Stevani enters the VIP room. There was only that man alone.

"Hello mas Dani." said Stevani.

Dani looked up and looked at Stevani from top to bottom. "You're always beautiful as always, come here." he ordered.

Stevani approaches him and puts his brand on the table. "Why are you alone?"

"I just want to meet you. Come near Van, I won't eat you." Dani said.

Doubtfully Stevani approached her and sat down beside her.

"I'm having trouble with my fiancee" Dani said.

Stevani poured her brand. "There's anything else?"

"Van, marry me." pinta Dani arrives.

Stevani immediately spilled his brand. "Oh my God, I'm sorry..."

Dani laughs. "You know I like you a lot. I was engaged but at the will of my parents. What if we elope?"

"Why are you always joking about stuff like this?" ask Stevani.

Dani holding Stevani's thigh made the woman startled and stood up.

"Why don't you like me Van? What's my lack in your eyes?" ask Dani.

"You're too perfect for me. You come from a respectable family, you are also very kind and already have a beautiful fiancee from a respectable family as well. Your current feelings are only a momentary feeling because I always accompany you whenever you have a problem." Stevani replied.

Dani drinks his brand. "Sit down Van, you're making me look like a bad person."

"I'm more comfortable standing."

Stevani sighed, he sat back down but slightly moved away from the man.

"I don't love him at all, what should I do Van? I just love you."

Dani shifted her seat to Stevani, and the man pulled Stevani's hand.

Instead of being released, Dani actually held her hand tightly.

"Look at me Van." pinta Dani.

"I've seen you since" replied Stevani.

"Let's just say, I'll still marry my fiancee. But will you be my mistress? I'll buy you a big house, a car and take good care of your sister. Every time I have a problem with my wife, I'll be with you. Maybe I'll..."

"No mas." cut Stevani off while releasing his hand.

"Why not...!" snapped Dani.

"Oh my God, I can still be your confiding friend but I can't..."

Uncompleted Stevani spoke, the door of the room opened violently. A beautiful woman entered with tremendous anger. The woman approached Stevani and pulled him roughly.

"Based on cheap women, did you know this man was my fiancee?" snapped it.

"God is a new problem again." thought Stevani.

"Sorry lady, I know. Please solve your problem with your fiancee." replied Stevani.

The woman raised her hand to slap Stevani, but immediately Dani got up and held her hand. The woman was wide-eyed, she was so furious.

"Get out Van...!" Dani's orders.

Stevani nodded her head then immediately walked out of the room. He did not want to see the couple's mess. He immediately returned to the bar.
