18. Joking

After explaining everything to Alia, Arka told Alia that she was going out of the house to look for Dafa.

Arka walked out from inside the house and then heard the sound of crying children from beside the house. Arka became so worried and then walked towards the garden because the garden was next to the house. Arka became surprised and ran towards Dafa who was crying.

"What happened to Dafa?" Ask Arka while kneeling before Dafa.

"Papa." Speak Dafa with his voice that cries as he pleases.

"Oh my God, what's wrong, son? Why are you crying?" Ask Arka and rub the Dafa head gently.

"He hit me." Dafa was still crying and pointed towards the little girl who was his opponent fighting earlier.

"What's? You're a liar." Shouted Lana who made Dafa directly embrace Arka tightly and became frightened because of the little girl.

Lana was the name of the little girl, and was only 6 years old. Beside Lana, there was a woman who was her Mama, who came first from Arka.

Arka then carried Dafa in her arms and asked Mama Lana who was beside her.

"What is this really about?" Ask Arka.

"I'm sorry about before. But I guess they both fought and beat each other." Said the woman bowing towards Arka.

"Is that true?" Tanya Arka turned to look at Dafa who was still sobbing.

Dafa lowered his head and said, "yes Pa."

Arka shook her head.

"I'm sorry right now." Dafa said, and the two of them apologized to each other.

Lana came down from her Mama's sling and looked at Arka with a smile. Arka also looked at the little girl and smiled.

Mama Lana then starts talking to Arka, as well as Lana who seeks Arka's attention. While Dafa becomes jealous because Lana is close to his Papa.

Meanwhile in the hospital...

"Argh... It's been a few hours and Arka hasn't come back here." Said Nadia who was so upset because she had been waiting for the arrival of Arka.

The new family looked so happy, Dafa even looked so close and familiar to Mother. Mr. Arka also seemed to love his new wife. So what about Mrs Nabila the first wife of Mr Arka who is still in the hospital who is rumored to be sick?"

Lana then looked at Dafa. He then stuck his tongue out in a mocking manner and then turned towards the Mama with a triumphant smile on his lips.

"Alright Dafa, let's go in. Your mom's been waiting inside since." Say Arka to Dafa.

"Come Pa. I'm bored here." Dafa said annoyed.

That made Arka and Sabrina who heard Dafa's words hold back laughter.

"Well, nice to meet you, Dafa boy." Sabrina said, while Lana stuck her tongue out at Dafa.

Dafa and Arka then entered the house. Lana and Sabrina return to their home.

'I'm sure he may be very angry now after not seeing me there since.' said Arka in his heart who was thinking about Nadia who was in the hospital.

Arka and Dafa entered the room. Once inside the room, Dafa immediately shouted after seeing the figure of Alia.

"Ghost..." Shouted Dafa.

Alia and Arka both became so shocked. Arka immediately lowered Dafa from the top of her carrier and crouched down asking him.

"What is Dafa?" Ask Arka gently.

While Dafa himself directly embraced Arka so tightly and he looked so frightened.

"Paa's ghost..." Say Dafa again.

"ghosts? Where's?" Ask Dafa in wonder.

Arka then looked into the room. He sighed and held his laughter as he looked at Alia who was standing with a white mask all over her face.

Alia slowly approached then crouched down in front of Dafa.

"Darling, don't you recognize Mama. It's Mama darling." Say Alia softly.

Dafa slowly approached and looked towards Alia with round eyes. He then held onto the cheek of Alia who was wearing that white mask.

"Yes, this is Mama. Papa, this is my Mama. Not a ghost." Dafa Say.

Arka laughed and said to Alia.

"Now look, you're a ghost in your son's eyes. How would he respond next if he saw you still like this again. Ha ha ha." Say Arka and laugh.

"Stop mocking me." Reply Alia.

"Why do you wear a lot of powder on your face?" Ask Dafa.

Arka grew increasingly open to hearing Dafa questions.

"Hmmm this..... It's called a mask, baby." Reply Alia.

"Isn't that mask that covers the nose and mouth?" Say Dafa again.

Alia fell silent and looked at Arka as if asking for help to be able to give an answer to Dafa's question.

"I'll just raise my hand." Arka laughed and came out of Alia's room.

While Alia could only scratch her head then started explaining everything to Dafa.

Time passed by so quickly and now time had changed by night.

Alia and Arka were having dinner, while Dafa had eaten earlier and had gone to bed quickly.

"Let's get out." Said Arka by holding Alia's hand while smiling after finishing dinner.

"Where?" Alia asked and became so curious.

Arka pulled Alia's hand closer towards her and said slowly in Alia's ear.

"To a secret place." Bisik Arka's.

Alia blinked twice and then a smile was engraved on Arka's lips.

"All right, your majesty." Reply Alia and hold Arka's hand while smiling sweetly at her.

"Now close your eyes." Said Arka again then carrying Alia on her arm.

"Waaahh, all right." Reply Alia

Alia became so surprised and then coiled her arms around Arka's neck.

"Where will this handsome husband take me away?" Alia asked with a bright smile while her eyes were still closed.

Arka stopped on the way and said, "don't try to tease me."

"Who should I tempt?" Said Alia with a sullen face.

Arka became silent for a moment, she then coughed and said, "nothing. You can't tease anyone but me."

"Wmmmpphh....." Alia averted her eyes while smiling and also sighed.

'What is this creature exactly? Is he a rabbit? She is so adorable said Arka inwardly and chuckled.

After a few minutes, Arka finally made Alia stand on the floor and said, "you can open your eyes now."

Alia took a deep breath and said cheerfully as she opened her eyes "what is this?"

He looked around.

"Where is the Arch of Wijaya?" Alia said in a very serious voice and all her excitement had now turned into annoyance.

"Teras!" Reply Arka and then laugh which makes Alia become even more upset.

"Actually you're hoping where I'm taking you, hmmmmm?" Ask Arka with a mocking smile.

"I thought you'd give me a sword or maybe a firearm, ah no. Looks like a better bomb." Alia said and then smiled towards Arka.

"Wow is truly a hope beyond expectations." Reply Arka while stepping back after Alia approached her with an annoyed face.

"Where are you going? Come here, let's have some fun." Alia said as she rolled up her sleeves.

"Who are you really? Are you a boxer, a fighter? How can you try to hit your own husband." Speak slowly Arka.

Alia stopped her steps and said, "hmmm... I didn't plan this, but because you said it yourself. Then, let's do it."

"No, I didn't think about that. Forget everything I said, Mama!" Said Arka and started running away from Alia from the porch of the house, while Alia started chasing after him.

After being tired of running around from chasing each other, Alia and Arka sat on the floor together and were laughing together.

"You really are like a turtle." Alia said with a laugh.

Arka looked at Alia's face with a smile on her lips. Alia was still laughing. He then realized that Arka was thinking about something. Alia then flicked her fingers in front of Arka's face and then raised her eyebrows.

"What are you staring at?" Ask Alia.

Arka smiled and then put her head on Alia's shoulder and said, "of course look at my wife."

After Arka said that, Alia smiled so brightly and looked towards the star-studded night sky.

"I'm so happy that you told me everything." Alia.

Arka smiled and held Alia's chin.

"I should have explained everything to you. You're my wife, the one I love today, tomorrow and forever." Arka said with a sweet smile on Alia's lips.

The two drew their faces closer until their noses clashed. Slowly their lips finally met.

"I love you." Arka.

Alia just smiled and kissed her husband's lips gently again.
