7. Start There is a Taste

Dafa asked Alia to crouch down. Alia did what Dafa asked her to do, but she seemed confused. Dafa put the medal on Alia's neck and said, "Mom is the winner."

Alia smiled and embraced Dafa.

"This is your hard work. Mama just led you, baby." Said Alia while kissing Dafa's forehead.

Arka was happy. He smiled at the same time and looked at Alia and Dafa.

"How do you feel, sir?" Susi asked from behind, she sat behind Arka's seat.

Arka was busy looking at Alia and Dafa, so she did not hear what Susi said.

Meanwhile the other teachers continued to laugh at Susi slowly. This made Susi angry.

Then the principal announced the next race was for the parents.

Alia was already preparing near the playground and Arka was coming close to her.

"Yaaaiii... Don't ruin my reputation." Say Dafa to Arka who made Alia laugh.

Arka crouched down and rubbed Dafa's hair gently, "Well, you're starting to get great with Papa's dialogue." Say Arka and make Dafa laugh.

All the parents of the disciples were already standing in their positions and the jury told them the rules.

"It's like this, one has to hold the other person and walk towards the finish line. Who gets to the finish line first, he's the winner." Say that jury.

Then Susi smiled cunningly. He rushed to the headmaster and said, "why don't we change the rules sir."

"What do you mean, like?" Ask the principal.

"We all know that the person who will carry is of course the man. So, why don't we change the rules." Susi said and looked at Alia with a sly smile.

'Why is he looking at me? He seems to be betting with me. I really want to beat him. Just look who will win later, said Alia in her heart and gave her angry smile to Susi.

"What kind of ridiculous rules are these!" Arka was upset and thought that Alia was weak and would not be strong if she had to carry him.

Alia held Arka's hand and said, "my dear husband... You don't have to worry about me. I can carry my dear husband." Alia said and smiled towards Susi.

While Arka looks blushing. He recalled that Nabila had never called herself that way. Nabila used to call himself by saying his name. But this time it was the first thing she heard something so sweet from someone who looked so sweet.

People looked surprised listening to Alia's words and her confidence. Considering herself as a model who looks thin, people are hesitant. Is he able to carry a man.

"I don't think it's a big deal." Alia said and then looked at her husband.

"The word is still a word Miss Luiz says. Let's prove your abilities." Susi said and she looked so irritated.

"She's Mrs Wijaya." Speak Arka with great emphasis.

Alia smiled and held Arka erta's hand. Arka then looked towards him and then nodded her head.

"If you want, we can quit this game." Said Arka feeling worried.

People are silent at the love between them, which is not what they think it is. They both just act.

Not long after, all the participants took their positions. Some people started carrying their husbands on their backs except for 2 participants.

"Don't worry, I won't let you fall let alone get hurt." Said Alia smiling then carrying Arka on her arm without the slightest bit of difficulty.

And so the other couple, doing the same thing looking at Alia. They think it will be easy to do so. But it turns out that it is very difficult for a wife to hold her husband in such a position.

As Alia walked normally, looked forward, and she also smiled. Seeing Alia like that amazes Arka, she then just looks at Alia's face.

Alia and Arka eventually win the game and the prize is given to Dafa and his parents.

Dafa was so happy that both of his parents took part in this game. Today will be the day that Dafa remembers the most, and not only himself but everyone else as well. Who could not take their eyes off Alia.

The Headmaster called Alia to go up on stage, while Susi went downstairs. Alia put her hand on Susi's shoulder and said, "try to use your brain next time." Alia said and smiled which made Susi upset.

Susi's jaw hardened and she went down the stage in annoyance.

'So he knows how to fight back. Amazingly, I am amazed by her today, my dear wife.' Arka said in her heart and smiled.

"Can you tell us all, how can you hold a man?"

Alia took the mic from the principal and started talking.

"There's no secret whatsoever. I'm not a superwoman and I don't have any magic power either. It's just because of my job. Being a model is not as easy as other people think of us. We had to go through a lot of training and a lot of others and I think everyone did their best. And in fact, they try to do their best even though they know that it is impossible for them to carry their husbands. But the truth is that's the best thing..."

Everyone applauded for Alia, the image of Alia getting known to everyone. Arka felt so proud. He walked towards the stage and extended his hand as Aulia descended down the stairs.

Alia welcomes Arka's hand and looks towards her full of question marks.

'Why is he acting like this? Is this because of the incident? Does he feel guilty about the wrongs he made? But I've forgiven him. Then why, he might just be acting.... That's right, I...' Thought Alia in the heart.

He then pulled his hand slowly and carried Arka and asked, "do we have to go back home now?"

Dafa nodded his head while yawning.

"Aaaa... My beloved son is tired. Sleep now." Alia then embraced Dafa.

Dafa placed his head on Alia's shoulders.

'Arka, what are you doing? Arka said in her heart and walked out of the school along with Alia and Dafa.

Alia sat with Dafa in the back seat, while Arka was driving her car.

Everything felt so awkward in the car, also because there was Dafa sleeping on Alia's lap which made everything even more awkward because no one was talking.

'I thought, why is he still angry after all this.' Arka said inwardly and looked at Alia through the mirror.

While Alia looked out the window. She then gets a phone call from Morgan, Mia's younger sister where they grew up together as children.

A smile emanated from Alia's lips as she looked at the number calling her. He answered the call with a happy feeling. While Arka looks angry.

"Morgan!" Alia cried with happiness.

"I'm back in town, brother." Morgan said across the phone.

'Morgan is a man's name. Who is this morgan and why is he talking so sweetly with her.' Arka thought.

Arka's jaw looked hardened and she said that in her heart with annoyed eyes.

"Wow, I really want to see you right now. Tell me, where are you? I'll be there." Said Alia with a face that looked so happy.

"I'm at the hotel right now, because mom and dad and even Kak Mia don't know that I'm back. I want to surprise them." Morgan said across the phone.

"Wow, that's great. Which hotel is it?" Ask Alia again.

'The hotel? What the hell, that's right. Why hotel?' arka said in her heart and felt even more angry.

Morgan gave Alia the address of the hotel and the two then disconnected the phone.

"Who is that?" Tanya Arka was unable to hide her sense of regret.

Fortunately Alia did not look towards Arka and simply said, "someone very important." The reply.

Arka became annoyed, she did not know what the reason for her sense of regret was. It was possible that he had started to feel something towards Alia or that it was just curiosity. He didn't say anything with Alia.

After a while, they finally arrived home.

Alia held Dafa in her arms and was about to walk into the house. But then Arka walked in front of her and said, "come here, let me carry her."

Alia then gave Dafa to Arka and then walked into the house. He went upstairs to his room.

'Why did he become so impatient to meet that person? So he actually has someone he likes or maybe he loves. But she had to be tied to a marriage that meant nothing to her.' Arka said in her heart while bringing Dafa into her room.

Arka put Dafa's body on the bed and then walked out. Arka saw that Alia came out of her room wearing a short black skirt and wearing bright makeup. Somehow Arka felt angry, and she wanted to stop Alia. But he didn't say a single word. Alia ignored Arka's presence and walked down the stairs. He walked out of the house with a cold and unpredictable expression.

Alia called the Dafa nanny from downstairs and asked her to look and watch over Dafa, while she walked quickly to follow Alia.

'I don't know why I'm doing all this. But I won't let you go. You are the mother of my son.'

Arka said in her heart and started her car engine.
