Arrival of guests

"What are you? Let me go" said Varissa, who was a little surprised when Dikta helped her put up her sandals.

"Shut up, Va!" dikta. The man stays in his activity. Put the teplik sandals to the wife's feet one by one.

"Done," he added with a smile as he got up and rubbed the top of Varissa's head.

The woman sitting on the bed smiled. She was treated like a queen. In fact, for trivial matters like this alone, Dikta paid so much attention to it.

The longer, the more Varissa can find the difference between her former household and the current one. If you were with Erik, Varissa always treated Erik like a king. Fulfill all the needs of the man without ever complaining. In fact, even for this kind of business, it was always Varissa who acted while Erik only accepted. It continues until Erik's affair is finally exposed.

And now, when he was with Dikta, his life was inversely one hundred and eighty degrees. The dikta that always spoils him. Doing anything for Varissa even if outside the man still looks cold.

"Thank you, yeah!" varissa said sincerely.

Dikta just nodded faintly. Then, his hand stretched out before Varissa and waited for the woman to welcome him immediately.

Knowing what her husband wanted, Varissa immediately welcomed the helping hand. Her lips incessantly smiled at the endless sweet treatment of the husband.

"Where do you learn romance from?" varissa asked as they joined in affectionately down the stairs.

The man next to her smiled slightly in response to Varissa's question. "From Dad," he answered briefly.

Varissa understood who Dikta meant. Of course the biological parents of Dikta who have died since Dikta are still relatively small.

"First, Mom and Dad always join together like this. Still saying love to each other never even miss a date every Sunday night just alone."

Varissa kept quiet. It is clear that the sweet memories bring happiness to the husband when he remembers them. Although, Varissa could not deny that there was a pile of longing that also erupted in the look of her husband's face.

"You know what, Va?" Dikta drew breath. "Dad always said, the happiness of the woman you love is a real world paradise for us men. Because, if you are able to make your woman happy, then the nickname of the new real man deserves to be embedded in your shoulder. In the past, I didn't really understand what it meant. But, now? The advice of the new father I understand entirely."

Dikta's view. Although now both of them are sitting in the gazebo behind the house facing the pool, but actually the center of attention of Dikta is not fixed on the clear water of the pool. Instead, his attention wanders into the past. To a time when the whole family still feels so warm.

"Definitely a great man, Father" praised Varissa as she leaned her head on Dikta's shoulder. Their hands were still clasping each other as if they did not want to part.

"Yes. He's the greatest man I've ever met. Just like Papa Hadi."

No more conversations after that. Both are dissolved in their memories. They were two people with parents who were both gone. Of course, both of them clearly know about each other's feelings. About how much the hidden miss. About how much of a wait that never comes.

"From everywhere, you're apparently here?" cerocos is an old woman in her 70s who still seems excited at her old age.

"Well, Grandma?" Varissa stood up immediately. Moved to greet the new Widya and then greeted Sani and Wildan who looked tailed from behind.

"Kok didn't say anything home? Can Varissa masakin special," added Varissa who felt bad for her husband's family.

He still sits in the gazebo. Frankly, he still felt alien to his own family. Although we have forgiven each other and rectified all misunderstandings, but in fact the partition is still there. It is not easy to restore the familiarity that for a dozen years has been cut off.

"Ta?" call Widya slowly. There is a sense of sadness when the grandson has not yet fully opened his heart to her.

Dikta just nodded his head. Smiled faintly for a moment before throwing his gaze back in the other direction.

"We go inside yuk, Grandma! You must be tired, "take Varissa a little awkwardly. He saw the husband who was still at home sitting alone before passing back into the house with Grandma, Uncle and Aunt Dikta.

"I'm sorry about Dikta's attitude" said Varissa.

"It's okay. It's natural. Since childhood, your husband has been quiet. He's more likely to harbor feelings than to let them out. Grandma sure, really. Your husband just needs time to familiarize himself with us back to how he used to be" Widya replied at length, which was immediately embraced by Wildan and Sani.

"How about traveling around the capital? Exclaim?" ask Varissa to divert the conversation. He felt he did not need to discuss Dikta's relationship with his family anymore. It might even make everyone sad.

"Seru, Va! Look at your Grandma. Buy a lot of souvenirs for employees at home," replied Wildan sumringah.

"We rarely go to the capital, Wil!" widya said in defense.

Varissa and Sani just chuckled in response to the debate. Then, shortly afterwards came an old mother who approached those who were chatting in the living room.

"Mother, is it coming?" Wildan gushed to his feet. Experiencing the middle-aged woman followed Sani.

"Yes. Sorry, Mom came in. You see, said Security ahead, it's okay," said the middle-aged woman.

"Mother Widya, how are you?" Now it's Widya's turn to be called.

"Okay, Miss Ami. Have seat. Oh yeah, meet me, this is my grandson's wife. Beautiful right?"

Varissa quickly greeted Ms. Ami. Although she does not know who her new guest is, Varissa can guess that she is still her husband's family.

"Well, it's really pretty. It doesn't make a difference in the photos." Bu Ami smiled in praise.

"Va, this is Ami's mom. His mother Om Wildan. The plan, Bu Ami wants to visit Bandung to his sister Wildan's house. But, Grandma tell me to come here first. It's okay, right?" Grandma Widya started to explain.

"It's okay, Grandma. Varissa is even happy that this house is rame," Varissa said with a smile.

"You've been married before but you're not pregnant yet, son?" Ms. Ami suddenly asked without further ado.

With a little unkindness, Varissa nodded confirming.

"Have you ever checked? What doctor said?" ask Ami again.

"Normal aja...," Varissa confused to call Bu Ami what.

"Call Oma only," said Bu Ami understood.

"Normal, Mom. There is nothing wrong" Varissa said, repeating her words.

A few seconds before Ms. Ami opened her voice again.

"You're in the same order Oma, will ya?"
