There are not many stories that Varissa can remember about Dikta's past. Now, he just realized that. About how Dikta used to be in his childhood. About how personal he used to be when he was still living with his family, Varissa knew absolutely nothing.

Everything about her future husband's past is suddenly gray. Like there was a defensive wall that Dikta always woke up whenever someone was about to ask further. In fact, Varissa never got a complete story about Dikta's childhood and how his family until now. All Dikta gave whenever Varissa asked was a smile. Saying his childhood was mediocre and nothing memorable should be remembered.

The incident just now also jolted Varissa's mind. About how the anger got in Dikta's eyes when Erik tried to provoke him. The side that Varissa never saw from Dikta then came out. Making the woman immediately stare and seem to not believe that the man who threw money and insulted her ex-husband was the same man who always looked and spoke to her so softly.

Until now, Dikta's hands are still clenched hard. His eyes were still the same as before and as if he was planning something. What's more, the breath that normally bleeds regularly from him, is now hunting full of anger.

"Ta..," Varissa tried to touch Dikta's fist.

However, the woman gasped as Dikta responded a little aggressively. He jerked his hands violently but suddenly weakened when he saw that the one beside him was Varissa. The one he loves.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" said Dikta slowly. Guilt in his eyes.

Varissa smiled with understanding. It is only natural that Dikta is still angry. Moreover, he was impressed to defend Erik and tend to blame Dikta who clearly reacted like that in order to maintain his pride.

"You shouldn't insult Mas Erik to his side, Ta!" Varissa ventured to discuss the matter earlier. Although, he could not deny that talking with the figure of Dikta who is angry, clearly put tremendous pressure on the inner Varissa. However, this matter must be resolved tonight. He does not want to be sustainable and will instead become a problem fishing staple for their future relationships.

The man snorted furiously. She did not speak but her eyes told Varissa that she was protesting loudly.

"Mas Erik just lost his Papa. Maybe, he's just in need of an angry outburst. After all, the perpetrator of the murder of Papa Harun was Mauren. His wife is Mas Erik" Varissa said with a slight tremble.

Dikta is still flinching. The man did not look surprised at all. Instead, her reddish lips even revealed a sinister smile. As if, I had expected all of that to happen.

"Ta?" Varissa touched the man's shoulder slowly. "Why is your expression like that? You're happy, Mas Erik got a disaster like this?"

Scared, Varissa waited for an answer with a nervous feeling. Impossible, right, her future husband does not have a heart? Even though, Erik had already done things over the line against him, but Dikta should still appreciate Erik's position as a human being. After all, he and Erik now have no ties. They had already turned into other people although it could not be said to be foreign to each other.

"That's karma for her family." Dikta answered without hesitation.

"What's the difference between me and them?" Those sharp eyes challenged Varissa for the first time. "When they all conspired to seize Papa Hadi's treasure and planned to dispose of you, did they sympathize? Did they ever think that an orphan like you should be in love instead of being stabbed in the back like that?" Dikta's pair of eyes started to turn red.

"No, Va!" the Dikta bell was full of emotions. "If on the night of the accident you really died, do you think they would cry?"

Varissa swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. What the fuck? What emotion is the damning Dikta in that up-and-down chest? Why did the wounds in his eyes become more and more?

"That's all over, Ta!" snapped Varissa while holding back tears. He knew that Dikta was worried about him. However, that does not mean that it must turn Dikta into stone. Not that the man had to be numb to the surroundings. NAY! Varissa wants Dikta to live as a human being with perfect emotions. Not only was vengeance built up within him.

"Yes, it's all over!" dikta nods allow. This time, her tears had completely shed. "You can forgive them so soon. That's your right. But, what's wrong if I keep that grudge? Because of that damn guy, I can barely see you again in a lifetime!" Dikta's jaw tightened to hold back the wound that had to gap wide when remembering the accident that had almost taken Varissa. The words of Doctor Imran who said that if a little late Varissa was taken to the hospital, then his life would float, still looming in the mind of the handsome man.

"For so long, I always thought that it was enough to keep you from afar and to let you be happy with your own chosen man, that made me happy, Va! Dan, it's true. I've been so happy when the person I asked to keep an eye on you sent your photos every day to me. I laughed when I saw you laughing even with Erik and not me. I'm so grateful for that, Va! But..," The man's tears flowed. "When my men reported that you were in an accident, you thought I could stand up again, Va? No!"

Dikta shook his head. And, Varissa could only sculpt without being able to do anything. Their accidental encounter with Erik at the hospital actually detonated a time bomb inside Dikta.

"I'm trying so hard to drag this leg here. I struggled with this breath to survive. At least until I know you're okay. And.., when I suffered that much. When you are also suffering, Erik and his family are happy. They celebrate your suffering. None of them came to see you or even ask you about it. Then, you keep asking me to forgive and forget their mistakes? It's not that easy!"

"Taa... I'm.., uh...,"

Varissa is now sobbing. Just this time, Dikta refused to touch him. In fact, the man even twisted his body. Go without saying anything more to Varissa.

"Evil! If you've been sick all this time, why on your own?" murmured Varissa while banging her chest that felt tight.

Now she realizes one thing in their relationship. Only Dikta has always moved to make her happy. Meanwhile, Varissa himself had never done anything for Dikta. He did not even know that the man had so much wound in his heart. Then, he easily showed a dazzling smile without any burden on Varissa and managed to disguise the wound perfectly.

"I'm the fool! Sorry!" varissa said regretfully while continuing to bow to lament her stupidity that was never sensitive to the true feelings of Dikta. One more question came to Varissa's mind. Has he done anything right for Dikta all this time?9
