As usual, every morning Aisha wakes up and prepares breakfast for her small family. When she went to the kitchen, the woman saw that her mother-in-law had already been there. Nur's mom is cooking, maybe breakfast for this morning.
"Mom, let me cook. Why do you keep cooking. Later I became addicted to Mother's cooking, difficult to be," said Aisha while joking.
"If you are used to and like mother's cuisine, you can move back to the city and live at home with Mother" replied Ibu Nur.
Aisha simply smiled in response to her in-laws speech. Either way, he would never move to the city again. It's comfortable here. No matter how good her in-laws are, it's better to live with a small family. Self-sufficient.
One hour in the kitchen. The cuisine has been served.
"Mom, I bathed Syifa first. She wants to go to school" said Aisha.
"Please, son," replied Mother Nur.
He cleaned up the kitchen which was still a mess. Aisha said it was her job. But I still want to do and clean everything.
After Syifa and Ghibran got dressed, the four of them ate breakfast greedily. Mother Nur's cuisine is delicious. After finishing breakfast while waiting for Syifa time at school, they sat in the living room. A moment later, the sound of the door being knocked.
Abdul's father knocked on the door of his son's house. He wants to pick up his wife. Not wanting to disrupt his son's family life. What else does the man know if Ibu Nur is less able to get along with his daughter-in-law.
Ghibran walked towards the door. Surprised to see his father come so early.
"Dad, morning has arrived. Please come in, Dad," said Ghibran.
"Is Nur's mother in this house?" ask Abdul's father without saying anything.
"Yes, Dad. Mom's inside. What exactly happened?" ghibran asked, pretending not to know.
"I need to talk to your mother. There's a lot you want to say" Ghibran's father replied.
"Alright, Dad. Please enter!" Ghibran repeated his words.
Dad went into the house of Ghibran and confronted Mother Nur who was sitting in the living room with Aisha. The man chose to sit near his wife.
"Nur, I'm sorry for what happened. I want to talk about everything" Abdul's father said.
"It's been 3 days that I've been avoiding you, Dad. You think I can accept this straight away? Ask any woman if they can accept a traitor?" Ibu Nur asked in an annoyed voice.
"Please, Nur. I want to talk calmly. I know I've made a big mistake, but believe me I still love you and don't want to lose you" Abdul's father said.
"How can I accept the fact that you remarried without telling me? We're still husband and wife, Mr. Abdul!" mother Nur said with tears that began to wet her cheeks.
Having avoided Abdul for three days, Ibu Nur still could not accept sincerely, the traitor of the husband. He also could not let go of the man. His love remains the same as before.
"I know that I was wrong. My mind was in a mess at the time and I didn't know what to do. But I'm sorry, Nur. I've been sorry. I should have honestly said everything" Mr Abdul said.
"It's not easy for me, Abdul. I feel betrayed and my trust broken" replied Mother Nur.
"I'll try to fix it, Nur. I'll forget everything and just focus on our relationship. Please, come home with me. You remain number one in this heart. And it will remain a priority" said Abdul.
"How can I be sure that you're indeed numbering me, Dad? How can I trust you again?" ask Mother Nur doubt.
"Until this moment, I've never wanted anything but the happiness of you and our family. Have I ever let you down? No, right?" Father asked back.
"But I need time to trust you again, Dad. It's not easy for me" replied Ibu Nur.
"I'll keep my distance from that woman after she gives birth, Nur. I also understand that you need time._
"May all your words be serious, Dad. Never make me feel hurt again. Please keep your distance after the child is born. I'm not forbidding you from being responsible. But I beg you, take care of my heart too" replied Mother Nur.
"I promise, Nur. We can handle this together. I will try to be a better husband" Abdul replied.
"Actually I'm still angry, Dad, but I love you and I want us to get through this" Mother Nur replied.
"Thank you, Nur. I won't make you regret it. Are you ready to go home?" ask Abdul.
"All right, I'm going home. But this is a new beginning for us, Dad. Let's rebuild our trust again" replied Mother Nur.
She admitted she could not separate from her husband. Their age is no longer young. It would not be easy for Nur to live alone.
