Chapter 54. The Father's House

This morning Ghibran came to see his father at their home. The man met his mother. They look awkward. Since that day, the two have not communicated.

Ghibran believes his mother has said nothing about the feud. My father must not know.

"Is there a father, Mom?" ghibran asked in a flat voice.

"There's in her study" Mother replied gently.

Without looking again, Ghibran walked. However, his footsteps stopped when he heard his mother's words.

"Mom's sorry if you're angry about yesterday's incident. I don't mean to offend you" said Ibu Nur.

The ghibran breathed heavily. He turned his body to face his mother.

"Why should I apologize, Mom? I'm not the one who's hurt, but my wife. Until I almost lost my baby candidate" Ghibran said in a tone of emphasis.

Nur's mother was shocked to hear her son's words. What happened that Ghibran said. Wasn't yesterday all well, said Ibu Nur in his heart. He walked closer to the son. Maybe they were afraid of hearing her husband.

"Mom don't understand what you mean, Ghibran? What happened to Aisha?" ask Mother Nur.

"Are you aware, if your words and actions yesterday made Aisha depressed. She was so appreciative and respectful of her mother that she chose silence. However, his mind is tormented, so that it must be treated. Almost me and Aisha lost our baby candidate" Ghibran said in a stern voice.

"It seems like there's something important you want to say! Your face is so tense" said Mr. Abdul.

"Why choose to go out of town? Why not just here?" ask Abdul's father with a face full of question marks.

"There are many reasons why I prefer to go out of town. First, to maintain Aisha's mental health. Second, I want to live more peaceful and quiet because there the atmosphere is still fresh" replied Ghibran.

Father looked at his son's face with a frown. Don't know what to say. Banning the Ghibran is impossible, he has grown up and has a family of his own.

"What's going on?" ask Abdul again.

"Aisha is currently being treated in hospital. Maybe I'll just go home tomorrow. He was severely depressed because he could not bear to always be pinned down by his past mistakes. I almost lost my son because of this. I don't want to repeat it a second time. Aisha must be treated because of the words of those who claim to be family," said Ghibran.
