Chapters 77. Breakfasted

That morning, the atmosphere at Mother Nur's house was tense. She was still angry after learning that her husband, Mr. Abdul, had another wife. Although angry, Ibu Nur still woke up early to prepare breakfast as usual. He continued to cook while thinking about the problems he was facing.

Suddenly, Mr. Abdul appeared in the kitchen with a face full of regret. He tried to get an apology from Mother Nur who was still angry. "I'm sorry, Nur. I made this big mistake. You're my main wife, and I shouldn't have cheated on you without permission. I'm really sorry" said Mr Abdul hesitantly.

Mother Nur did not answer directly. She continued cooking with her heart still heavy. After a while passed, Ibu Nur finally stopped and looked at Mr. Abdul with a sharp gaze. "Dad, are you really sorry or are you just trying to apologize for being discovered?" ask her with a firm voice.

Mr. Abdul was silent for a moment, realizing that the regret he felt must be sincere. "Nur, I'm really sorry for what I did. I don't want to lose you, you are my life. I will do anything to correct the mistakes I have made. I know my ways are wrong, but don't ask me to separate from Rachel. You both mean a lot to me" replied Mr Abdul in a soft voice.

Ibu Nur felt honesty in the words of Mr. Abdul. His heart was slightly loosened, but his anger was still not gone. During this time, although he often made mistakes, Mr. Abdul never wanted to separate.

"Dad, you've hurt my heart deeply. I need time to forgive you, but I won't reject your apology. Only time will be able to heal this wound," said Ibu Nur fully fixed.

Mr. Abdul smiled with relief at the words of Ibu Nur. He knows that he must continue to be patient and prove his regret through concrete actions. "Nur, I will fight to get your trust back. I'm going to turn myself into a better husband for you and for Rachel. Wasn't it for the two years of my marriage with Rachel, you were still my number one," Mr. Abdul said as he approached Ms. Nur and tried to hug her.

However, Mother Nur prevented it firmly. "Not now, Dad. I am still angry, and this is a moment that requires my solitude. Don't force me," said Ibu Nur with a steady yet gentle wake.

When the breakfast was over, Ibu Nur sat down at the table and started eating alone. Mr. Abdul stood in front of him with a look full of regret. "I'll be out for a minute, Nur. There's important business I have to deal with. I'll be home later in the afternoon" he said as he walked to the door.

Nur's mother turned to her husband while nodding her head and said, "Clean your heart, Dad. Then, you can clean up the relationship. I'll wait." The words sounded soft, but deep in Mr. Abdul's ears.

Meanwhile, Ibu Nur continued his breakfast with a still heavy heart. He is aware that the journey of forgiveness is not easy, but he believes that his family can get through this difficult time if their hearts are cleansed and actions taken sincerely.

For the sake of the integrity of his family, Mr. Abdul promised himself to be a faithful husband and love Ibu Nur sincerely. He realized that he had to fight to gain trust and fix the bad intentions he did.

However, he also would not let go of Rachel. They both have their own place in their hearts.

In the afternoon, Nur's mother decided to go to Ghibran's house. He would stay for a few days to calm his mind. He also wants to complain about the traitor Abdul's father did.
